Orchard Orchard Orchard

Wow... Been pretty busy this week. Have been going to Orchard everyday since monday without fail.

Monday, had lesson, was supposed to be full day but I saw wrongly and had already arranged with Hj to go out. She already applied for leave so I can't change date. But lucky after lunch is just practice session. Then met her and Xl, went to Bugis so that I can get that bag I was eyeing since wednesday. We went off to Chinatown for ktv. Only I brought jacket so we had to take turns to keep warm. Then it was off to the kopitiam famous for its frog porridge. But I had fish porridge instead. Then ordered another side dish, fried small prawns. At 5 bucks, it tastes the same as the one I ate at Mahanttan Fish Market but much cheaper. No pictures cause half the kopitiam was experiencing power failure and it was simply stuffy and pretty dark. We went to walk around Chinatown abit. It was crowded. Also no pictures cause I had too much to carry already. I bought a pair of earrings for 2 bucks.

Tuesday, also lesson. Was half day so I came back shortly after having lunch and buying this green tea bread from Breadtalk. The last time I ate it was in Shanghai and I liked the taste of it cause they had a lot of red beans (bean form not paste) in the bread. So different from the normal bakery where its paste form and very sweet. Been longing to eat that bread again but time and time when I'm already back in Sg, its either sold out by the time I reach Breadtalk or I forget. But its quite pricey... $4.20 for 1 loaf. So not cheap. Only bought it to satisfy craving. Haha!

Wednesday, dental time. The only bad experience this round was the ulcer. In such a strategic spot that the dentist got no choice but to brush across it when doing some procedures. I was squirming and kept on closing my mouth at the wrong time. Hee... I changed out from my X'mas season's colour of red top green bottom to orange and purple alternate. I like this combination better than the X'mas one. I also don't know why I chose purple. Its not part of the CNY colour. Orange represents the oranges. Don't want red to represent the angbaos cause I don't want to have the same colour for consecutive months. Purple... What can it represent? Oh.. $2 notes? Hahaha! Like that should have done navy blue, $50 notes.
Lunch was at Din Tai Fung for my favorite xiao long bao! It was good. But I think I left it there too long till it was a bit cold. The prawn pancake was quite nice. Eggy and crispy. Fried rice tasted pretty normal, should have taken the la mian instead.
Went to Taka to tastes goodies. Ended up buying some.
Then walked around and saw Sw working. So she let me use her staff purchase to buy chocs. Wahaha... Bailey's chocs are the best!
Bought another 3 pairs of earrings while walking down the stretch to Centrepoint with Godma. Ohh... and I managed to find the bottled ready to drink Ribena. Cf was asking me to try it and its so hard to find it. So since I saw it, I decided to buy and try it. Yeh... Its nice, would be nice with vodka. But kinda sweet.
