JB Trip

I went JB afterall!!! Haahahaa...

But I went with my aunt and her friend whom I also know. (We worked together before.)

I already knew last night that I won't be going. But I didn't tell aunt until today when she called. Then I said I'm not going. So aunt was like psychoing me to go together with them. That was at 9am, I was still in bed. They could only go after 12.30 cause they applied for half day leave. That gave me ample time to pack my barang for the trip.

Don't know why, but when it comes to overseas holiday, I'll be early. Not just on time. Early! Hahaha... Part of the curse, perhaps.

So there I was standing at the bus interchange waiting for them. Still yawning away. Then they finally arrived, and darn, they ate lunch already. Thought they would have not eaten so that we can go in and eat. Play me out... I didn't even eat breakfast. So I was hungry! That by the time we reached JB around 2+, I was just so so so hungry that I immediately went to Macs to buy. They had the twister fries leh! Hahaa... So I ordered a whole meal and walked around with the bag in my hand while munching away. I know I eat damn slow, so didn't want to waste precious shopping time sitting there eating.

Chinese New Year goodies were all on display. Sales girls there were so happy to push samples for us to try, but I politely refused, cause I was happily eating Macs. I wouldn't want to look like some greedy glutton chomping Macs and trying samples in between.

I bought a pair of sandals. I think it makes my feet look quite lengthy. Hahaha... I like! =) RM$29.90 is pretty reasonable. So, buy!!!

As we were making our way up we came across this cart. They provided eyelash extension. It so happened that in my ex office, their current office, there were 2 colleagues who went to do it too. But rather pricey. SG$190 and can only last 1 month. Then we went to ask how much they charge and how long it would last and all that. So the price was RM$150 for 2 sessions and can last 2 months. Supposed to pay full, then after 2 months, go back for the 2nd time which will then be "free".

So I started to psycho my aunt's friend to do so that she can go back to work on monday and flutter her long lashes to the other colleague who paid so much and the result of it could only be seen from side view. Which I think its a damn waste of money.

Since it is a cart stall, we won't know if it would still be there the next time we go. So better play it safe mah. Tried to test my luck as well as my negotiating skills in mandarin and ask the sales girl whether its possible we just pay RM$75 for 1 session instead. So she went to consult the boss and the boss said ok. So even though aunt's friend was reluctant to do it, we made the decision for her and forced her to do it. While we went off to shop cause it would take bout an hour or two.

We went to lim kopi at this very modern old-kopitiam style shop. Looks very cool! Really too bad I didn't bring camera. Else, would have been a really nice shot if I took it in sepia. The old styled table and chair, the bench kind of sitting, the signboard, the shades at the exterior (for deco cause there is no sun) and the metal gate. Ohh yes, the kopi is very thick and aromatic. Very good. But the kaya roti wasn't really that great. Kaya? What kaya? It was non-existant on my roti.

I spotted this tee shirt. I like the design. And its coloured not black! Saw the price tag, only RM$17. Of course, BUY!!! Its damn cheap can?
In the process of revamping my wardrobe. So the other day the only black top I bought was for either one of an upcoming important occasion, aka portfolio or practical exam. The rest were coloured.

After shopping, we went back to look for her. Fwahhh... Nice leh her lashes! Haha!! Too bad she can't wear contact lens, so the glasses tend to block the lashes a bit. But nonetheless, its still obvious!

We went to have dessert. I had my birdy nest soup. Yes, I deprived a poor birdy of its home. Lalala...

Then the two of them went to do foot reflexology. I didn't want. Don't know why but I'm not that game to try it today. I want to shop cause today the things seem to appeal to me more than the last time I went in. So I had an hour to shop in foreign land alone.

Saw a bag.. I liked the design. But they only came in those sky blue colour. The shade doesn't look very nice. Boo hoo... Ohh ya, I'm still thinking bout the bag I am aiming since that day at Bugis. Carried on walking around. I was done within half an hour cause there was only one floor for me to comb alone and they were mostly bridal shops or other stuff which doesn't really appeal to me.

Went back to look for them, waited for them on the chair. Somehow regretted that I didn't try the foot reflexology cause I had to sit there for another half an hour and stare around blankly while waiting.

Then we went to the hawker centre for seafood. Wahh... Feast sia! I didn't bring camera so no food pictures. But here is what we ate. Sweet and sour fish slices, hum fried with some beanie thingy(I didn't touch that cause I don't like hum), black pepper crab, cereal crayfish(best sia! I was happily scooping up all the cereal cause they only took a bit. One whole big plate of cereal for me, me, me! How satisfying). All this cost us RM$86. Which means each one forks out about SG$12.75 only! Ohh and thats not all, we still had fish mee sua soup(really good cause the fish was so fresh and very soft)and guo tie(didn't really enjoy cause I couldn't put a lot of vinegar thanks to the stupid ulcer) from other stalls. But still, all in would cost less than SG$16 per person.
Its just so cheap cheap cheap. Very budget for a very big feast. Realised that I should have ordered sambal stingray instead of the sweet and sour fish cause I forgot bout it. Darn... Next time ba.

Came home after that. Woaahh.. Tiring day. Tomorrow will be another long day full of walking/shopping.
