My First Facial

I went for mass alone again because bugger isn't around to go with me. Church was crowded! I couldn't find a seat. So I stood at the back. Aunt also happened to attend the same mass and we stood all the way. Ermm... It was a children's mass but the priest was preaching as if the kids knew what goes on in the adult world.

After that, I went for the free facial. The one where they called me on friday. Don't really know what to expect. After all, its my first time. But I have heard of horror stories during and after facials. The pain during the extraction, the redness caused by the extraction after the facial. Which makes people so conscious that they must rush home immediately because they cannot face the world. Blah blah blah.

So I went into the room. The lady cleansed my face then did the extraction. I was curious why she didn't do the steaming before that. I thought people usually do it? But she said that there isn't much difference just that people want to drag facial time. So when they tell you 1.5hour facial, 20mins gone doing steam. Hmm... Quite a logical answer.
So since I don't have to do steam, means its quality time of other things.
Ohh by the way, I kept on tearing cause its my first time doing it, so clogged pores tend to be stubborn and those at the sensitive spots on the face still have not been removed. Then I also kept on having that I-need-to-sneeze-but-can't-sneeze feeling.

But never mind, after that was done, there was something called the diamond peel machine. Supposed to be able to smoothen out the skin and scars. Followed by face mask. I think I fell asleep when I was left alone in the room to let the mask dry. Asleep until someone came in to give neck and shoulder massage. Wahaha... Just what I need cause I was having some muscle aches from 3 consecutive days of exercise. Then I was left alone a while more before the mask was removed and that was the end of my 1.5 hour facial.

Went to the mirror to check if I'm one of those victims of the horrific facial stories. Fortunately, I wasn't. Hahaha! The important thing was that my nose and face surface looked so clean. Whoo!!

Then came the part where they will ask if you wanna sign on their package or not. But the lady had half the battle won already cause I was previously searching for somewhere to do facial. Then now I'm just checking if the price is right. And it seemed reasonable enough for me. So I sign lor.

Ambience was quite nice. The only thing was the darn music. Everywhere you go, you hear "tong tong tong qiang" or "gong xi gong xi" or "xin nian dao" and other songs. Agghh... It tends to get a bit overplayed leh.

That reminds me of this song which I think its overplayed on Perfect 10. Its played once every DJ changes shift. So in 1 day, I hear it at least 7 times. My GOSH! Like, stop it can??
Its titled "The Snuppy Song", the one where it goes "si snup snuppy, snuppy snuppy snup." Although its cute and catchy initially, but its starting to get quite irritating leh.

Or is it just a sign that age is catching up with me?
Nahhh... I refuse to believe that!
