Patrick's Bday Chalet

Back from Patrick's Bday Party...

The chili for the bee hoon was damn power! I likeeeee...

At first it was only grouping amongst ourselves and just gossiping. Got a little bored of it and wanted to go check if there was anything nice at the arcade or maybe go bowling. They were closing. Darnn!
Anyway it started to rain lah.. So we were sort of stuck at the lobby area for some time.

Then we went back to the chalet and the drinking began!
Patrick's concoction of vodka is deadly lor...
Made sure everyone drank some more!
1st round was on the rocks.
2nd, 3rd, 4th was with Sprite. The Sprite was the only bottle left, it was like damn damn precious that the amount added in was probably less than half each time.

Did I mention that a lot of us didn't know we had to drink so much? So while eating, we've already downed some beer? So now vodka... Bad bad mix...

Then some people had to sabo me lah...
Announced to everyone that I'm a good drinker who can hold alcohol well blah blah blah...
Shit!
Pat made sure I never missed a round of weird concoction.

Sprite ran out... Used lemon tea syrup. At least when the bday boy wasn't looking, they quickly added a lot of ice and syrup to the drink.

Then vodka ran out...
I siam the drinking area after I silently slipped to the "ban luck" area and quietly sit behind Jav & Wy to see them play.
Wine was next.
Again I was sabo and Pat don't want to let me off... So came over and dragged me back to drink.
Ohh bloody hell...
Drank 2 cups.

After drinking so much weird concoctions, beer and wine, I still wasn't drunk. Not even high... My head wasn't even heavy unlike the other day at St James. Still drank as fast, in fact, faster cause we didn't even play anything. It was just drinking round after round.
But I was already trying to keep as quiet as possible so that I won't be made to drink anymore. Must keep low profile lor... Later anyhow say I never drink enough and must drink more to give face.

A lot of colleagues cannot take it already... So quickly said that they need to leave cause next day most have to work.

Supposed to hitch a ride out to catch a cab only. But then, Jas's bf took a wrong turn and the most convenient place to let us off would be at Parkway. Ha.. That's like traveling so far off lah.

Some coincidences when I had my family gathering.
1. It was at the same place, and very same unit.
The units were not really filled at all. A few more nearer to entrance which wasn't occupied.
But both times, it had to be at unit 4!
Hmmmm...

2. Both times, it started to drizzle only when I was walking to the reception. Once I'm there... it pours damn heavily that I'm stuck there for some time.
Righttt...

3. Both times after leaving the place and heading to the road home, the drivers miss the turn and end up detouring somewhere else.

Freaky coincidence? I don't know... Perhaps ba. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much.
Ohh well...

Mega Entry

BORED! BORED! BORED!!!

Ahhhh... Save me pleaseeeeee...

Another 2 hours to closing and I"m all alone. Wanted to buy magazine to read, but I forgot.

Now all that's left to accompany me is a bar of Hershey's Cookies & Cream Chocolate which Lyna bought just now cause she was too bored and feeling hungry. Hahaha...

Hmm... Ohh that reminds me, I was too bored so I actually drew a portrait using PAINT.

Its kinda amaturish though... But what to do? I'm only able to draw using whatever pathetic tools PAINT offers.

Last night... Went St James' with Gin + Kurt & Ch. Js was supposed to go, but due to unforseen circumstances, she didn't go ahead with us.

I lost pretty badly at the game of 5-10. But what to do? I was playing solo while the 2 of them were playing tag team. Forfeit was to drink beer.
The mug was emptied pretty quick.

Something damn wrong lah. Normally I can drink 1 pint of Hoegaarden and I'm still super sober.
Eg., just last night went ICB, drank 1 pint and still kope some of Ch's Stella, yet I was still able to walk straight and was very normal.

Perhaps working, then go drinking, then next morning go work and after that go drinking again just equates to lack of sleep and quite tired .

So don't need to say also know lah...
Lack of sleep + boredom from work + alcohol being consumed faster than you can recite your name 100 times = HIGH!!

Won't say that I was drunk cause I was still aware of what was going on around me.
No, I didn't puke.
Just that my head felt damn damn heavy!

I just wanted to lie down and sleep...
But Ch didn't let me. Kept on saying I shouldn't lie down blah blah blah...

Couldn't dance much due to space constrains unless you would like to term our movements as wriggling around?
People kept wanting to cut through and it was rather irritating.

Suggested to go for prata!
Getting out of there for some fresh air was really helpful. I felt so much better and my head wasn't feeling that heavy anymore.

Hmm... Yup yup, so we've explored most of the rooms in St James'. Just left a few more lah...

Perhaps next time...

Cabbed home after that and went to sleep...
For only bout 2 hours!
Woke up superb early cause I had to attend mass.

Can't go for a later time slot cause I'm schedule to work at noon.
Some irritating reason that I've never worked morning shift in Vivo before so I won't know what to do blah blah blahh...
Which is of course, total bullshit lah...
Come on lor... Which outlet I was't given an am shift not long after I start at the outlet without anyone to guide me? All I got was instructions the day before on what are the things to do and where to find the cleaning stuff.

Haiyah... Whatever lah... I hate 'it'. Chao tweety...
Anyway, I'm damn tired now lah... 2 hours of sleep, and today I have to do OT for 2 hours...

Conz wanted to treat me to a meal for my birthday. I know, I know, my bday was like way back in december lah...

Just that we're too busy or the time wasn't really right, So we've been postponing and postponing till now!
She asked whether I wanted to go Pasta Cafe or Royal Copenhagen.
Pasta Cafe was the safer option lah... She didn't want to ruin the treat should the food turn out not up to standard. Hahaha...

But then Royal Copenhagen is known for using classy cutlery and china ware. Seems quite atas.
Obviously I chose that lah... Duhhh...
Hahahaa...

To totally get into the tai tai mood, we even went for the high tea.
I was busy snapping pics of each dish as they were served.

Overall, the food was alright... but won't say the best lah...

After our high tea, shopped around a bit before we went our seperate ways.

Went to Bishan to get some good stuff. Hee hee...

Ch insisted on meeting me cause he was hungry.

It was raining super heavily that my legs all wet, shoes all soaked. I went to buy 2 pairs of slippers.
1st pair normal price, 2nd pair at 10bucks... Cannot resist one you know...

Instead of going to eat immediately, we went to play pool at Bugis.
I suck at pool lor! My aiming is like shit. I break the balls like I've not eaten in a year and lack energy.
The good thing bout playing with Ch is that winning isn't everything. So I don't really get trashed, then not so demoralizing... Hahaha...
Its a learning and training process.

After that went to eat dinner/supper with Jav. That idiot damn jian... Always make 2 of us go wherever he is to meet him. Then after meeting, was quite late already. I wanted to have prata! But he doesn't want to walk there..

On wednesday, went to watch 251 at the Esplanade. Its a local production. Yogs managed to get extra tix for me.. But she didn't go in the end. =(
Went with Ch.
Anyway, its my first time I'm actually attending a play lor! Feeling a bit sua ku. Hahaha...
Very interesting play. Its about the life of Anabelle Chong, the local porn star. They actually gave out envelopes as door gifts and the content was a condom... Hahaha...

Ohh my my, its 9.30pm!!!

Just nice, I've also finished my Hershey's.

Shall end off here then. I can take my own sweet time to pack up.

Hooked For Dinner

They are rather long.

This is 50%... I must say, its not bad! Not very fishy.

The only thing was that our appetizer came after all the mains were served to our table.

We ordered two. I didn't take picture of the jumbo wings.
But I still like ICB's wings. Na na na~

This is what they call a super vege-motion. Hahahaa..


The food taste is quite good also.
Dish presentation is also much nicer, more vibrant.
Cost less than 80bucks for 5 people. I must say, its cheaper than the usual fish places like Fish & Co or Manhatten Fish Market.

The only setback, its so far away from my place. I don't think they have other branches.
Ohh well...

The birthday cake followed. Joe & Yogs bought something different from the usual cakes normally expected at birthday parties. Not the chocolate, or creamy kind. They bought pandan kaya cake. The pandan layer was very light. The kaya layer was like harden jello. Quite yummy.

On the way back, I saw a fire fly!! Ooo... So pretty lah. The lime green colour. Its so nice, I couldn't bear to chase it away. Just let it fly around me.

Damn army boys leh... They totally spoil the high feeling after seeing a fire fly.
2 classic examples...

Me: Oooo... I saw a fire fly in the wild leh!!! So prettyyyy!!!
Joe: I see it every time I go outfield lor.

Friend: Ohhh reaallyy... Then did you catch it?

Major Shopping Haul

Afternoon, went down to meet people during their lunch time. Supposed to accompany them, meaning wait for me then go eat lah. But apparently, by the time I reached, they were already done with lunch and asked me to go eat while they sit there and chit chat. Bo liao... I rather not eat.

Anyway, after that I went to take my photo for my driving license and was for time to pass to meet my babes.

While waiting for Yl, from 5pm till she knocks off at 6.15pm, I spent 200+ freaking buckaroos. 100 on clothes which are all black. Hj keeps nagging at me leh that whatever black stuff is DEFINITELY belonging to me. Nobody else would buy all black. Hahaha... My babe knows me sho well.

The other 100 bucks, well... spent on accessories. So pretty I just can't resist. Anyway, those I have, some see until sian already. I need a wider variety! Not really full 100 lah. Considering that I actually helped buy a pair of earrings for someone's other half.

Anyway finally Yl came, pulled me away from shopping and off to meet Grace, Hj & Xl. We had sushi for dinner. Then went around to do a lil shopping. Bought Grace her 'peanut' bag as her bday pressie.

We shopped till most shops closed. They wanted to go off already.
I made my way back to meet Jav & CH outside Taka. On the way there, I past this booth which sells jewellery boxes, and *ahem* I bought something from there.
Anyway, since most of the shops closed already, we just sat outside and chit chat. I received a cute bear keychain for Vday.
They actually threatened to smash the 'ugly duckling' I have hanging on my hp. My poor duckling. Got smashed twice already when I accidentally left it dangling out of the cupboard.
Why??? What has it done to offend them?

Whats up with the world nowadays?
I thought it was humans who picked on flowers?
Since when was it the other way round?
Bullshit fertilizes the plant. In this case, it is a totally different thing. The plant is over fertilized that the flower looses it petals and drops its dirt all over the place. Tarnishing whatever nice image any human had about the flower.
Damn it...
I hate double standards.
Feel like trampling over it. But I'm afraid its lethal sap will squirt out leave a permanent stain on my feet, killing me slowly.


Anyway, rant aside...

Noriff is finally a mummy. Her baby boy is healthy and doing well. Ohh and I'm amazed that she managed to sms people after 13 hours of labor and 2 hours after giving birth. Still got energy lor... Power!
I always thought women will be damn tired after giving birth that they will just drift off to sleep shortly after that and wake up seeing the baby near them.
Ok... Too much tv scenes. =)

Went shopping with Jav for baby stuff then we headed over to the hospital to visit the mummy and newborn.
Awwwww.... Those innocent eyes, smooth skin, tiny fingers. Ohh man, so cute!

We stayed on an hour past visiting hours. I was hungry cause we went straight after I knocked off and had to eat something since there would be drinking at Bern's bday party.

Bern wanted to go to Clinic since its a relatively new club/pub. Bout 8 of us went, ordered a bottle of vodka, a blood bag to share and a syringe shot each. Everything there was like a hospital. We only sat outside where they had like the beds and the screens for privacy. Too bad the club part wasn't open so we couldn't check out their different room concepts. It seems quite interesting.
