Gloomy Day At Sentosa

Went to church early in the morning at 7am. I miss that bugger who would go to church with me. Now I gotta sit alone. I couldn't hear what the preist was saying cause he isn't local and the english was mostly muffled. I spent my time looking out of the window, starring at the rain, admiring the stained glass windows and just about anything to pass time.

It was still raining... Yl decided not to go. So its just me, Hj & Xl. We decided to have breakfast at Macs before heading over.

Don't how come we were asking whether we dared to take the cable car alone. As in one person one car.
Then don't know who said it would be boring and who was saying what if something happens?
We won't be able to huddle together and cry. <--Haahaa!
But seriously, I think the journey will be boring.

So upon arriving at Sentosa, the first attraction was the Sky Tower. Since it wasn't free, we didn't want to pay cause its raining.
Pay to go up see a blurry panoramic view of Singapore? I think not.

The luge and the chairlift also wasn't free. We skipped that too.
Pay to sit in the rain and get drenched? I think not.

Took the ride in Cinemania. First ride was damn boring! Its like a family on a lava mining place. Erm... I don't think there is such a thing called the lava mine cause in reality that wouldn't happen due to the extreme heat. But imagine a coal mine? Yah... Got those carts to transport the coal out and all that. Just replace coal with lava. Anyway, the narration was very distracting and in some way, irritating.
The second ride was fun! We're like in a toy car running on a track. The effects of the car shaking was more realistic and its only cheery music in the background.

Next we went to the Underwater World. Not that fun as I was expecting. We didn't take much pictures either. Guess it was because of the crowd. Its hard not to get strangers in the shot. There was this weird lone ranger who wanted to take pictures of himself at various locations. He asked anyone to help him take his shot. So there we were standing on the travelator and he was standing at the right side which doesn't move.
He started shooing people on the travelator, "Stop! Stop! Don't come near!" Frantically waving and pointing to his camera.
Like hello... How to stop the travelator? Why not ask the fish to stop and strike a pose as well?
Some people are just so strange.

Anyway, there wasn't much we could do on the island when with the bad weather. We decided to take the cable car out and go shopping instead.

Finished shopping HarbourFront still not enough. We went to shop at Heartland Mall. Gosh! I didn't know that place changed so much. Felt so darn sua ku. Its been more than 1 year since I shopped there.

Came home after that to get a present for my primary school friend. Went to drop it off at her place cause she was throwing a party. Then I left.

Oh.. As far as I can remember. It was raining for the past 24 hours.
NON-STOP!
The rain only lightened but never stopped.
Hmm but then I think about it. If Singapore is rains are like that, how bout those in the path of the monsoon?? Wouldn't that be few times worst?
I'm glad I'm here. =I
