Last night, celebrated daddy's birthday at


I can't remember the names of the dishes la.
They are rather long.

Some salmon with their special sauce or something like that.

Fresh salmon which you can choose how cooked you want it to be.
30%? 50%? 80%?
This is 50%... I must say, its not bad! Not very fishy.


Shark in curry served with rice and potato.


The only thing was that our appetizer came after all the mains were served to our table.
Hahaha...
We ordered two. I didn't take picture of the jumbo wings.
But I still like ICB's wings. Na na na~

This is what they call a super vege-motion. Hahahaa..


The food taste is quite good also.
Dish presentation is also much nicer, more vibrant.
Cost less than 80bucks for 5 people. I must say, its cheaper than the usual fish places like Fish & Co or Manhatten Fish Market.

The only setback, its so far away from my place. I don't think they have other branches.
Ohh well...

The birthday cake followed. Joe & Yogs bought something different from the usual cakes normally expected at birthday parties. Not the chocolate, or creamy kind. They bought pandan kaya cake. The pandan layer was very light. The kaya layer was like harden jello. Quite yummy.

On the way back, I saw a fire fly!! Ooo... So pretty lah. The lime green colour. Its so nice, I couldn't bear to chase it away. Just let it fly around me.

Damn army boys leh... They totally spoil the high feeling after seeing a fire fly.

Joe: I see it every time I go outfield lor.

Friend: Ohhh reaallyy... Then did you catch it?

Friend: Ohh so sad.. You know last time when I was outfield, I always see them lor.

Me: Sadist...! Did they die?
Friend: No... I went to release them after that.

Lesson learnt. Never share wild life encounters with army boys...

Freak?

Try this...
Take a bottle of water (plain one would be recommended), pour it into your mouth with as little contact to the bottle as possible. Meaning, tilt your head back, try to lift the bottle at least 1cm away from your mouth. Try swallowing the water while continuously pouring more water into your mouth.
Don't cheat by stopping when your mouth is full then swallow.
The point is to swallow while still pouring the water in.

I thought it was just her who can't do it since its so second nature to me.
We called Gage over to try. He couldn't do it either.

JJ came over too. She thought its just pour in then swallow. She too was rather fascinated how I can do it.

Anyway, super tired at work today. Didn't have enough sleep last night. Was at my dad's side's family gathering chalet. bro decided to just abandon me and go out with his friends.
Damn him, really.
I was the last to reach at around 8pm. Many of them were about to leave already. Ohh well, what to do, they started the bbq at around 5pm. I was supposed to be there by 7pm. But then, work held me back.
Haiz... Retail.

I couldn't recognize some of my cousins, I don't even know how their kids look like.

Anyway, it rained super heavily, me and dad were sort of stranded there for a little while. We decided to borrow umbrella since it seems like the rain was never gonna stop. Then after getting out of there, he sort of took a wrong turn, and we had to detour.

I didn't take any pictures, cause Samantha had to tell me her boyfriend's photo taking experience over at that particular chalet just few hours before I go to the chalet.
What happened was when they took a group photo, behind them was like an empty unit. So after they took the pic and was circulating it around their friends, they happen to zoom in the pic and then... ... ...
Saw just a face inside the window of the vacant unit.
Freaky can!!!

CNY Eve

Its Lunar New Year Eve!

Last night went ICB. We didn't even have to say what we wanted. It was just confirmed with us and I only added the wan ton cause had craving for some yummy crab sauce. Hahaha... Yehh... Chilli crab the other day wasn't exactly satisfying mah.

Anyway, today there's only one shift. I don't know whats up with the roster lah... Store only opens 7.5 hours but there are 3 full timers and 1 part timer. As if we'll get damn busy like that.

I brought my digi cam down and took some pics with fellow colleagues and friends from other brand's before store opened.

Ohhh.. Reunion dinner after that. I got to try driving around the estate. Well... Not familiar with the vehicle plus roads were narrow.

Dinner was super filling. Its lots of food leh! My gosh!

Family Gathering

Organized a family dinner. Well... I actually wanted to treat grandma to Indochine. But after checking it out yesterday that the live band only starts playing at 9pm, I decided to find somewhere else.

Since Bro is back from China, then leaving soon for the next 1 year. So asked him to name where he felt like eating at. He suggested Rice Table which was kinda over my budget since so many people were going. So we agreed to split the bill.

Very filling lor. The best dish there would definitely be the satay and the super thick peanut sauce. The rest were alright la.


Apparently, after I left the counter, there was some irritating customer who came. Bahh.. Big fuss lah. So while waiting for Jav, I went to try some expensive products. Hahaa.. Adrian who was super bored was entertaining me. Actually I didn't mind heading home bare face after tying those products. But since he wanted to try applying makeup for me, I just let him play on my face lor.
He was still super pissed and wanted to go usual hangout. But I was working am shift so we didn't go just in case I can't wake up in time for work.
