A Birthday Gift Came Early

Tee hee... I got an early birthday present today. No no, it should be very very very very early present. I wasn't expecting to get it now. In fact, I wasn't even expecting the gift. See, recently there is this advertisement on television for this BossaNova CD. Some chilled Brazilian Soul kinda songs. I actually found some of the songs they played during the advertisement quite nice. Furthermore, I've heard it being played at some event before. So 2 nights ago, after watching the advertisement again, I saw the title of the song and I asked bro to search it online to see if they have it. It was hard to find cause the title of the CD is BossaNova. But bossa nova is just one of the many forms of Brazilian music other than samba, brasileira or lambada. So typing bossa nova actually had so many results and he didn't know which was the one. Anyway, I didn't bother anymore since I realised that it was like searching for needle in haystack when you don't know the singer, know only the song title and album title which is also the genre.

Today, I bugged 2nd bro when he was using the computer.
Me: My earphones 1/2 spoilt. Can only hear one side leh... How? Buy me new one leh. (I was thick skin... No reason just ask him to buy. Haha)
bro: Mine too! How? Why not you buy for me lah!
Me: Don't like that leh... Buy for me lah...
bro: Siao ah? Buy for you??? I don't have so much money lor.
Me: But you got more than me!!
bro: Waste my money...
Me: Wahh leoww...

Anyway, bro went out for some competition. Said he wasn't gonna eat dinner so I expected him to probably go out with his friends after the competition. But he actually called to check if there was food for him. I didn't hear my hp so didn't reply his sms or answer his call. Called home number than 1st Bro picked up. Said got extra... He came back.

Godparents were over too. So godma asked him bout his competition. Then he said he got something for me. Asked me to go over in a sneaky way. godma was curious and want to know why so secretive. Haha...
Anyway, he passed me a bag and I opened it, *tadahhh* the CD!!!
Awwww.... The sweet little mean bugger. Sweet cause he bought me a gift so early cause he didn't manage to help me find it. Little cause he is my younger brother, well in terms of age, lets not digress and talk about height. Mean cause he always tries to be mean to me (see above conversation bout the earphones). Bugger cause erm... no reason. Just call him whatever I feel like calling.

He didn't bother to peal away the price tag or anything. Probably guessing that it wasn't going to be much use. After all, a shopaholic like me would probably walk past some CD shop soon and will also know the price. Haha...

Next on my shopping list now is earphones. Gonna get them replaced after I submit my project on monday. Then I got time to go shop shop a bit. Haha!! I prefer to listen to surround sound instead of just one side. Digging up my other earphones to see if any still can use, but only to find out all only working one side. Bahaha... I know why. I sometimes listen till fall asleep.
Oh wait, I found one, both sides working. But the wire is exposed, it sends some electric zaps *Ouch* when I accidentally touch it with hand or if it brushes against my neck. Must be caused by chucking it in bag and tug and pull whenever I want to take it out of bag that the wire all spoilt. Shite...

Note to myself: Do not sleep with new earphones. Put earphones neatly in bag.

Ooo... Now that I'm listening to the album, I realised that the Austin Power song from this genre. Cooool!!! Grooovvvy Baabyyy.
