My MP3 Player Died... But Was Revived!

I spent my last few days reading through those damn books trying to figure out how the hell to draw some database stuff. Still can't figure it out. Damn it... Anyway, was supposed to meet up with supervisor today. But due to my lack of time after reading those books, I didn't really do much things. So I postpone the meeting to monday instead. Bahh...

I wanted to get out of my home, away from my comfort zone so that I can try to have better concentration. Brought my books and wanted to go to a library instead. Just as I stepped out of the house, I realised my mp3 player died on me. Pressing the 'On' button will only result in the screen displaying 'File System Error'. I tried to revive it as I would need my mp3 player when I go to the library. Tried so many methods, even resorted to thinking my laptop screwed up and I had to on the desktop to try. It didn't work either. Downloaded latest version of the program and it didn't work either. I was getting pissed already. Went to the website to search for a customer service number. But they only allow new users to call for installation help. No choice, I resorted to email. Received an automated reply saying that they will look into my problem and get back to me in the next working day which would probably be monday. I was saddened that I could not listen to music. Anyway, by the time I was done, there wasn't time for study anymore. I had to go collect money and buy bro's birthday present. Resigned to fate, left my mp3 player at home and left home sulking. Sian 1/2.

I went to look for my bro's birthday present. I shopped alone, combing OG, Robinsons, Hereen, Cineleisure but sadly, if the thing I spot was nice, it was either too ex, don't know if he will like it. I also don't really wanna buy something which may look too gay on him. I don't like him sissified. Sighh... The more I walk, the more I feel like buying my own stuff instead. I saw this leather wallet which looks quite cool lah... Too bad over my budget. So I called 1st Bro to see if he wanted to share. He didn't want to. Haiz... Called 2nd bro.
Me: "Hey, do you want to chip in some money to buy yourself part of your present?"
He: "Har? What thing?"
Me: "A wallet. But its over way over my budget lah... So how? Want?"
He: "No."
Me: "Wahh leowww... Damn you... Now I gotta crack my brain to find something else. Bye!"
Again I had to think of what else to buy which was within my budget.

Anyway, after that went to meet up with Victoria to collect our money. Then after that went our seperate ways. Headed over to City Hall and tried shopping there for his present. I walked so much without sitting down to rest. Damn tired that I wanted to just heck care and buy him something stuff from Body Shop and be done with it. A little voice in my head just said don't buy yet, see first lah... Combed the whole Raffles City but found nothing...

Finished shopping so I just had to stand at City Hall like an idiot waiting for Hj, Xl & Yl. Also meeting up with the buyer for a bag which I sold online. Haha... Stupid me went to type the wrong price. Ended up having someone bid so no choice, gotta let go of the bag. No mp3 entertainment for me... Sian to the core.

3 of them reached and the buyer was running late. 3 of them hungry so keep on complaining. I felt guilty that they gotta wait with me. Finally she arrived and exchanged goods for cash. Walked towards Marina Square to see whats nice to eat. Ohh... I managed to buy a wallet on the way there. Haha!! It was within my budget. Happy with my choice of present and account's damage.

Before arranging the meeting, all of us said we should eat at somewhere budget unanimously. I thought will end up at some fast food outlets or food court. Skipped going to LJS cause the fishy smell was just overwhelming even before we walked past. We didn't want to go there and come out after that smelling like we went deep sea fishing.

Somehow, we ended up at Cafe Cartel instead, so much for budget eating. There was a queue. We joined the queue thinking that the we could be in there having our dinner in no time. But we were so wrong... We waited so long and since had to stand, my legs were crying out for mercy... Chatting over dinner, they tried to psycho me to go clubbing today. I didn't want to go cause I wasn't too keen on going as today would be bro's birthday and I didn't want to tired myself out.

Came home and I found an email regarding my mp3 player's problem. I went to download the whatever program and I managed to get it to work again. Yipee!!! I'm so happy. Haha...
