Goodbye

Yehh... So its the last day of 2005. Wow... Guess it was a kind of a roller coaster year for me.

I had my share of good and bad times. But I think there were more good times towards the later part of the year. =)

How did I spend the last day of the year? Well, stayed at home to pack up some stuff. Then headed over to Tampines Mall (yet again) to buy a present and redeem some birthday gift voucher thingy. I simply refused to head down anywhere in town cause I dread the mad massive crowd.

Oh and I was quite sotong cause I didn't read one of the voucher properly. I can only do it at the store (which were in town) instead of at counters which were available island-wide.

Took a bus back to meet Cf & Ym for dinner. Haha... So exciting cause they're coming over to my place for countdown. Budget one lor.

We went to NTUC to buy fruit juice (healthy lifestyle) for mixing with my alcohol (not so healthy now eh?) and stuff to make our own version of Mac's Sausage McMuffin. Budget remember?

Right... Shall update more tomorrow. I have to get back and entertain my guests.

Blur Me

Just as I was taking out my new jacket from the plastic bag, I realised that the sensor tag was still there. Ehh... They forgot to take it out yesterday. But how come after walking out of the shop, the alarm didn't sound?

So I thought I was blur and didn't hear the sound. Called up Yl to ask her for the receipt since she paid for it first. But that girl doesn't keep receipts for more than 1 hour leh. The moment we stepped out of the shop and went to restroom, she actually threw it away.

Wahh... Happy New Year to me already lor. Now if I were to bring it back, without receipt, wait they accuse me of stealing then how?

Anyway, I brought the jacket to class and wore it with that sensor thing still there. Looks quite stupid lah. As if I stole it and immediately went to wear it. Dohh...

Ohh... Thats not the only blur thing today. I forgot to bring my box of hair clips and stuff for my hair class. I made sure I brought the dolly cause I even laughed at myself at the thought of going for hair class without a doll's hair for practice. So tadahh... What good is a doll's head if you can only practice tying a normal pony tail? Smart... -_-"

Then I also forgot to bring my house key. Yet another smart move. I applaude myself.

Ros asked me to go to her workplace, where they had the thing to remove it. So yeaa... at least I don't have to go down and try to convince people that I didn't just take the jacket from the shop and wanted them to take the sensor off.

Oooo... The second last day of the year. I don't think I will go anywhere for countdown this year. I don't like the massive crowds just to see that few minutes of fireworks.
Or just to shout 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1... Happy New Year!!!
Have to rush to catch the train during the extended operation hours, or fear having to hail a cab back.
Trying to move around with the whole group of friends but end up finding people missing and gotta contact them through the jammed up telco network.

This year will be different. Cf & Ym will be coming over to my place for mahjong session. Maybe there will be PS2, poker cards, monopoly and not sure what else to entertain us for the whole night through. Though its just the few of us, its quality over quantity. And thats more important.

Puma Stuff

Slacking at home yesterday, waiting for time to pass before I can meet up with Xl and Yl who were able to accompany me to Puma at Taka to collect the jacket which I reserved after aiming it at Tampines Mall.

They intended to take that as my birthday present. So just nice, xl saw her friend working there and decided to try to ask if can get staff discount. Then they won't have to fork out so much for the present. The friend was willing to help. Anyway, since got discount and I'm looking for shoes also, I decided to get 1 pair. With the discount, its damn worth it lor. Somemore it was for a pair of new arrival. WHOOOTS!!!!

Anyway, instead of jacket as my present, the shoe became my present. Erm... Cause its only a bit more ex then the jacket after the discount.
I know there is this superstition that cannot give shoe right? The version I heard of is boyfriend cannot give shoe right? If not its like wanting to kick the girl away.
Then how come husband can?
Is it because of the "your money is mine money, my money is mine money" logic?
So if the husband buys the wife shoe, she is indirectly buying it for herself with "her" money. Just that maybe the husband signs for the purchase. Haha...
But regardless lah. I'm not superstitious. So I welcome gifts with open arms.

We couldn't decide where to eat. The two princesses didn't want anything non aircon. I didn't want Mac or KFC. In the end, we went to Cartel. I got cravings for the ribs.

Sat there and yak yak yak away.

Haha... Got 3 new apparals now. Including my pants I bought on wed. I just realised that all 3 items are black! But then I'm just preparing for events in future which requires me to wear all black.

The First Time

Yesterday and today, I was at Tampines Mall doing a make-up event. It is the first time I'm paid! Hahaha! Damn happy lor!

Lobang is from Ros. Actually agreed to help her cause its her first time doing actual event and ask me to accompany her. I didn't know I would be paid. Until she told me more details. Then I thought that pay would probably be low. Its just like a token of appreciation kinda thing cause the person in charge of the event knows that we are still learning.

So here's the deal. I agreed to help Ros, she will split the pay with me. We also don't know what to expect. Haha...

Met up for breakfast on the first day. The mall was still so quiet at 8.30am. The starting time was at 9am. So we made our way up and started to prepare. Mostly we were doing for kids. Which is like damn easy lor. Kids got like the perfect kinda skin. No blemishes, hardly any eyebags/circles. Just smack on some loose powder, blusher and some lippies they are ready. The only kind of touch up needed to be done on them is to add lippies cause they eat stuff. Don't even need to put anymore powder cause their faces don't turn oily.
Darn... I sure miss those oil-free days of my life.

The kids from yesterday's batch were pretty much like angels except for one boy. Even though they are restless, they still obey instructions and were very cooporative. The naughty one simply kept on making funny faces and poses when not supposed to. But thats not my job. My job is only to do their make-up for them and they were really easy going. Whatever I wanna do, I can just do and they let me.

Today's batch were more devilish except for probably 1 or 2 girls. There was this girl who was quite picky. Refused to put this and that. But not my problem cause I tried. Then there was the cry baby boy who didn't want to get himself prepared without getting lured by Pokki sticks and some toys.

So if I were to compare the 2 batches of kids, yesterday I had more peace. The adults were more relaxed cause they didn't have to coax their kids too much. Today's corridor was horrible. They were running up and down, jumping around, screaming and crying. Parents had to coax their kids with either food, toys and other stuff. Many had to buy a lot of toys cause each shot the kid had to do, the parents promised them something different. Haha!

After that, I went to meet up with Cf & Ym for dinner. Its Ym's 20th birthday. So Happy Birthday girl. Lets share the table. (Private joke)

We met up at 7pm and yakked till past midnight. Wahaha... And we're still not done. There is just so much stuff to talk about.

3-In-1 Bday Celebration

Due to busy schedules, weird free times, test, competitions and other stuff everyone had, it was just impossible to meet up.

So to made up for it, we had a 3-in-1 Birthday Celebration. 2 post-celebration and 1 pre-celebration.

Took a bus down to Orchard to see lights and have dinner. Though it was only Cf, Py, & me, short of Sw cause she had to work full shift, we went down to her shop to look for her. Of course we bought some Chocz to share lor. I love the bailey and champange ones. Hahaa...

Then we went to Toy'R'Us to do some crazy stuff before heading off to dinner at don't know Yuki Yaki or Yaki Yuki place at Cine. It was photo maddness session during and after dinner.

Well, I shan't talk too much bout it cause basically, I shall let the pictures do the talking.

X'mas Party

Woke up at 10am! Pretty early considering that I slept at bout 6am!

I was actually waiting up for Santa to come and give me my christmas present. Wanted to catch a glimpse of him gracefully walking down the staircase unlike the Carlsberg advertisment where he and his elves and girlfriend tumbles down a chimmey just to drink beer.
Seriously lor, there were many bottles of alcohol, vodka/tequila and some wine, a big barrel of beer all left there to tempt him to come.
Unfortunately, he never showed up.

Know why?

Using the latest "where's-santa-heading" version of the GPS satellite, meant for kids to know when is Santa going to drop by their house so that they can prepare him milk and cookies, and can be extra well behaved.
Paparazzi still managed to track him, his snowman and his reindeer even though he took emergency leave during this year. They found him......

X'mas Eve

Due to the busy events lined up, I am blogging everything only the next day.

Spent the day at home pricking myself. Doing the rosary which I was only halfway through.

Bro threw a party for his friends so the house was really crowded. Crowded at to the extend that the dining area to the balcony was filled with people.

Anyway, I went for midnight mass. I had to run there while wearing a 2.5 inch heels. Its damn difficult. Church was also crowded! Lucky bro went early to meet his friend and got seats.

Went to eat supper followed by a bottle of those cheapo vodka each then we went back to church to see what the D&D would look like. Hanged around for only bout 1 over hour before we headed home.

My Bday! (Part 2)

Met with Xl, then took a train down to Momo. Ps and her bf came too. I was quite surprised cause she didn't reply my sms. I assumed she didn't want to turn up and I didn't bother to re-send my sms after so many unfavourable replies.

So touched that they turned up to celebrate with me rather then do their own stuff elsewhere in this tiny red dot on the global map. Even though Hj, Lynn & Yl were late cause they had to finish off other plans/work/others before coming, it sure beats being late then never present. Ps even came down after finding out the venue from Lynn due to screw up of the network and she didn't receive my sms yesterday.

My Bday! (Part 1)

Many thanks to family & friends for their birthday greetings to me.

My 2 bros were pretty funny/sweet/whatever to describe. It turned midnight and I was still drying my hair. They turned off the telly and came to my room and knock on my door. Cause I wasn't done blowing my hair dry, I told them to wait. They started to knock the door to the rhythm of "Happy Birthday" until I opened. Then each standing outside with a present in their hand.

A pencil case/make-up case with the monkeys doing the 'hear-no-evil', 'see-no-evil' and 'speak-no-evil' action. Haha...
A cute bear which has an ass which smells of roses or some kind of flower. It just makes me wanna sniff its ass.

But because in life, when good and happy things happen, bad and disappointing things are bound to happen to dampen the joyous mood. Today was no exception.

How early should a party invitation be sent?
1 year? 6 months? 2 months? 1 month? 2 weeks? 1 week?

I thought 2 weeks would be ideal. 1 week later just remind again and 1 day before confirm time and venue.

Many of my friends chose to tell me that they won't be turning up for my party later on tonight only today.
1) Some were probably going clubbing at other locations.
2) Some went to look for other activities.
3) Some claim to be having something on till damn late and will be too tired.
4) Some say they are broke.

But to those who may be reading this entry and think that I'm referring to you, don't worry, you are not alone in those categories. There are at least 3 people which gave those few reasons. Don't have to explain further cause I think you already did in the reply you gave via sms.

However, I'm not referring to those who told me long ago that they won't be able to make it. I didn't count their share. Does not refer to those who I know won't be interested but I still extended the invitation to them anyway.

I am just disappointed and pissed because people fly my aeroplane so damn last minute. The number of people I counted was quite important cause I was trying to get my friend's bro to help if they can get a VIP table without having to open a bottle. So thanks to those who gave me false hopes, I counted their share cause my friend was kinda beh song that I was indecisive saying that I should be more firm.

In the end, I gotta call to stop friend's bro before he books the table for that lot of people who wouldn't turn up.

While I was in class, I finally realised that it would just be me and my good friends who probably find that I'm significant enough and are willing to spend time with me. So I decided to change the venue of celebration to Momo instead of Chinablack since I have not been there before.

I am just blogging this out cause it is a factual event which was planned, and those are the reasons I received.

Alright, gotta start preparing for later already. Part 2 on how it went, will be continued tomorrow after I come back home.

My Last Day Of Being 19

Sent out smses to those people who said that they would be able to make it for my party tomorrow. Not many replied. Those who did mostly couldn't make it.

My last day of being in the age group where the age starts with a '1'.
Gosh, the feeling of getting old is slowly creeping in.
Tomorrow my age wil start with a '2'.

Didn't do much except to cheong the rosary which I'm supposed to give grandma. Quality Control standard set by myself is also very high.

After getting the hang of the size of the loops and stuff, I decided to do my mani & pedicure.
This is a french manicure with glitters for that extra christmas feeling.

Its my first attempt doing french manicure freehand without the help of stickers to get the line neat or whatever.

I just love looking at it. Haha...

2Days 1Night Away From Home

Back from my 2 days 1 night stay at Godma's house. Backtrack a bit.

Yesterday's lesson was damn fun. After lunch we came back and were supposed to practise the earlier look. Ehh... After that I started to wanna play those fantasy look so I asked Ros to play the Geisha.
Well, because as we did more and more, the look became more and more alike. The only thing short of was probably the kimono.

Went to Godma's house after taking lots of pictures in class with the teh queens who were teaching me how to look teh in pictures. But I think I fail badly. I'm probably the teh jester.
After having dinner with godma, we went to church for confession. But seriously, I couldn't really think of any sins to confess.

Sitting there waiting for the whole thing to end just made me very restless. We were supposed to repent through prayers but I didn't. My mind was wondering far far away, looking at the church decorations, observing people's dressings because I simply couldn't keep still.

The next day I had my dental appointment. Brought forward cause I was paranoid bout some pain and teeth movements. Changed the colours again to a x'mas colour of red top green bottom. Hahaha...

Managed to get the wire for making stuff.

Easily Contented

First of all, happy birthday to Hj.

Today lesson I was late. Haha... Back to my procrastinating days again. Lalalaa...

After class, went over to Godma's house to play with doggy and have dinner before heading over for Kb class with Gin.

After kb, me and Gin went to eat at Crystal Jade cause she was looking for dinner and I was tempted by the xiao long bao. So there... she decided to fill herself up with congee which cost a $1.50 for a pretty large serving. Though its cheap, but adding vinegar to it makes it taste like sharks' fin and its pretty delicious. The cheap contentment we get from vinegar. Hahaha!

So Many Things, So Little Time

I've got lotsa things to do by sunday.

Things listed according to priorties.
1) Get grandma's and bro's rosary done.
2) Buy cousins' X'mas presents; a toy for Sean and book for Ben.
3) Bake myself a birthday cake.

I wanna bake my own cake cause very long never play with flour already. Hahaha!
But if really no time, then I'll just buy one lor.

Anyway, today after church, I went to eat lunch with bro. Then dad called and asked where am I. He said that auntM wanted to have lunch with me. But we already ordered our stuff. So we were almost done when they dad, auntM and dad's friend came. Coffee shop was quite crowded so after we were done, bro wanted me to accompany him to the library. Before leaving, dad's friend gave me my birthday present.

How exciting! Hahaa... Cause it was bagged in a watch company's carrier bag. I was excited to see if it really was a watch or not. I couldn't help but to unwrap it while walking to the library.

I unwrapped it. It was a watch box. Ahhh!! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!!!!
Quickly opened the box. Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! Its a metal watch leh!!! Wahahahahaaa!!!
Yeahhhh! One item in my wishlist received. Somemore its a surprise one wor. Hahaha! Damn thrilled lah.

Slept from 3pm till 8pm. Now feeling so energetic.

Ketchup Time

Afternoon meet Gin to go for a workshop. Supposed to meet her at lucky plaza but I read the sms as far east plaza. Then I still happily replied that I don't want to go there and have Long John Silver for lunch. After reaching Orchard, I happily made my way there and when she said meet at the Levis store, I was thinking FEP got Levis?

It was only after calling then I realised that I read the sms wrongly. Darn!

Ate at Sushi Tei before heading over to the workshop. Got to redeem my pimple lotion and erm... bought the mascara and got other freebies. Hahaa!

Went over to MSQ again for a ketchup session with my poly mates. Well, at least more than half the class turned up. Which is not too bad.

The only horror was to gather everyone after the dinner for group photo. Gatherin everyone was like herding a flock of sheep from point A to point B. But we still managed to take in the end.

Went to join in the crowd for midnite shopping. But the place was just maddness lah! Couldn't really shop at ease. So in the end, nothing to buy. We quickly left because we don't want to pay for midnight cab.

Out On Assignment

Had an assignment from 4pm-8pm at the new MSQ. Took a cab there. Reached the place and signed in. Ehh... Kinda like stood there and stone for a while cause I didn't know what to do. Nobody briefed us or anything until we went to ask.

After briefing, still carried on standing there to stone cause there wasn't a really big crowd.

Then I got my first person to do. Had to do eyebrow trimming for them. The seat I got wasn't favourable to me! Cause the table next to me had all the shop's promo items placed on it, I can't put my stuff. Then the chair was so bloody low, that I had to bend in such an awkward angle that my hands weren't used to. Its in that kind of angle where you bend and there isn't much support that your hands will just shake. So I was very scared that I'll do wrongly.

Anyway, I did people's make up and all that. There was this lady, I asked if she got preference to colours or anything cause she is going for some party after that. She said she'll leave it to me to decide because I'm the pro. Muaha... In my heart, I was chuckling. Do I look pro? OK lah cause maybe of the dress code. But anyway, I think she was quite satisfied with the make up I did for her. Haha...

Then got another one, while I was doing, she was like dozing off. Haha... Too bad the chair no headrest, if not, can just sleep. Like what happens in class. People take that opportunity to catch a nap.

Pretty tired after the whole event ended. My toes were cramming up cause of the new shoe.

When we were leaving, Kris still haven't signed in, so she went in to write her details. As she was writing, I had nothing to do, so I was being kpo and looking at the list. I saw that she was writing the same block, then as I looked on she wrote same street. So I thought I saw wrongly or she was too tired and was blindly copying the address above. Then eh... different unit number leh. So can't be that blur right?
Anyway, a new found neighbour. Hahaa!

Back For KB

Went down to try to find beads and stuff. The place was freaking crowded can? I spent more time squeezing around and waiting for people to finish choosing their stuff then me deciding one the ones I want. I hate it! But no choice lor... To make me more pissed is that I couldn't get the most important item, the wire!

I went to meet Gin for kickboxing session. Because of the massive crowd there, I was late and that made her unable to go to some shop to buy her textbook.
Yeh... We're back for kickboxing again after a break of erm... 6 months. Even the package we bought actually expired already. But the staff allowed us to extend the expiry date if we start our first lesson again asap.

Tomorrow gonna have muscle ache already...

Gals Nite Out

I woke up early this morning intending to visit mother nature before the sun gets too hot. I miss greenery, the fresh morning breeze and the smell of the grass in the morning.

Came back and slacked around, wanted to do stuff but then, suddenly felt like I lacked the energy to do it. So it was back to bed after lunch.

Got up and prepared to meet up with AL, Gin, Jas & Nur. I hate peak hours. Gotta squeeze like mad to board the damn train.
Ate at Long John Silver cause we're on budget. Haha!
Some 'wet' fishy business going on lah... *Ahem ahem!*

Then we went to chill out at The Balcony. Chilling out there brings back the memories of chionging assignments at the Atrium. The difference between now and then is that, now we can totally relax, last time we have to relax to remain sane while chionging the projects.
Now there is a DJ spinning loud music at the console, last time we were our own DJs playing music softly or using earphones on our laptops.
Now one drink cost almost $10 we buy only one cup each, last time we would buy a few cups of 40 cents drinks to last through the night.
Now we meet up after so long, there is just so much to update but so little time. Last time we had all the time to update each other over before lessons, after lessons, in between lessons, during lessons via msn, ignoring teachers and talking among ourselves.
I miss those times.

Left bout 9pm+ cause its a working day tomorrow. They can't afford to lose too much sleep. Its no longer like last time where we can stay up as late as we want then catch up on sleep the next day during boring lectures. Haha...

Meeting up with them made the squeezing on the train more worthwhile. =D

Painful Lesson

Lesson today was on threading. Wah liao eh... Pain sia! My classmates tried threading on my hand. Hur hur hur...

Since class was only half day today, me & Ros actually had plans to go to the gym. She's a member and can sign me in. So we walked all the way there only to find out that guest under 21 are not allowed in. -____-" Bring so much things then can't enter? Wahh sian to the core. No choice lor, she went in alone and I left.

But while walking to the train to come home, I was still very buay song that I bring all my gym stuff and can't use. So I decided to go to another gym alone lor. Although I got membership there, but I haven't been going cause I don't like to go alone. Haha... Then today no choice since I'm out already.

Working out there on an off-peak period is not too bad. So quiet. Gym was empty except for one middle age lady. I think she switched the gym's radio to Gold 90.5FM. But since she was there first, so I don't switch lor. But tell me lah, how to work out when listening to sappy oldies? Sappy oldies are more for relaxing leh. Then after she finished her workout and left, immediately went to change radio station and blast the volume. Now that's more like it...

Followed up with sauna. Kept on adding water trying to make the sauna even hotter. But I think I poured a lot of water until the hot stones weren't that hot anymore. The hissing sound made when the water comes in contact with the stones gradually got softer and softer.
Bahhh... No more fun when you don't hear the hissing sound, so can't play anymore, went to shower and head home.

Mock Exam

Wahh... Mock exam today. Didn't study much, didn't expect to know a lot of the questions also. But thankfully, I managed to get 82 out of 100. =)

Then after we learnt how to make the flower stuff. Poor flowers, got squeezed and squashed by me. I manhandled them.

Was supposed to go KTV, but in the end, didn't go.

bro bought some live fish and put into the tank hoping to excite the turtles to train them catch their own food.
Nahhh... Bullshiting lah. He bought them to see the turtles chase the fish for his own entertainment.

Zzz

After going to church, I went to the library to borrow books. Haha! A bit bo liao right? Since when do I read books? By the time I'm done with the Introduction or the first chapter, I'm probably creating my own story in my dreams

Went to collect my contact lens. Paid the remaining amount which is freaking ex. Came home to nap. Napped from 1pm till my alarm rang at 6pm. I never set lor... bro set for me, thinking that I still had salsa class. He doesn't know that my class ended already. Sweet sleep disrupted. But not his fault lah. The gesture is nice enough.

Tomorrow got mock exam. Didn't really study for it, I only read selected ones. But I didn't really finish everything. Tomorrow don't know how to pass liao...

X'mas Shopping

Accompanied Lynn to the dentist in the morning. Then the nurses were surprised to see me cause they thought I went on the wrong day. Haha...

Lunch was at the new foodcourt in Wisma. Queued up for the supposingly famous hokkien mee for like 15-20 minutes. Even though after waiting so long and feeling damn famished, the food doesn't taste that great leh. I've tasted nicer ones. Bahh... so not worth the waiting time.

Brought her to see the Puma jacket and she said it was nice. Then we went to walk around looking for Peishan's 21st birthday gift. Before heading up to see the Nike shoes I saw the other day. Lynn said it was ugly. Not that I'm just following her opinion. But somehow, after looking at it today, I also found it ugly but I just showed her.

After buying PS's gift and shopping, we were about to leave for the birthday party. She decided to go back and buy something. So we went back to Puma and I wanted to get the jacket. Odd sizes left and don't have new piece. So they tried to call other outlet for me but all don't carry it! Wah liao... Damn sad lor.

Besides buying PS's present, I bought yet another hair treatment stuff. Muaha... Er... Just felt like buying.

We left to go to the chalet. Don't really know much people there though. Anyway, that set me off to think what I wanna do for my birthday. Hmm... The thought of having to study for the whole of that day still bugs me and it sucks. So I wanna enjoy myself after that. I'll be having b'day cum x'mas celebration on Sunday so that leaves Friday free to go celebrate with friends. But friends are either working or end late for that day leh. By the time shops also closed already. So the decision is to go clubbing. Venue not confirmed yet cause some of the places I had in mind has a minimum age of 21 for guys and 18 for gals. Mani Pedi

Ohh... Friday was a damn damn damn slack day for me. I didn't have lessons today. Why!?!?!?!! Why can't there be lesson today then no lesson on the 23rd. Darn it! Darn it!

Anyway, I spent my day doing personal manicure and pedicure. Haha! How come whole day? Cause I was doing it in front of the telly. Eyes kept on straying to watch show instead lor.

All Within A Day

Last night after logging off, I decided to be an owl again. Although I was tired, I still wanted to start making the trial rosary set. At first it was tough. Quite discouraging cause I kept doing it wrong, the length and the bending weren't equal. To add to the fustration, I kept on dropping the stuff. Occasionally poking myself by accident with the wire, but that just jolts me to stay awake. Haha!
All the more I couldn't do it, all the more I was determined to get it right. It took me more than an hour to do less than 20% of it. So once I managed to get it right, I went to sleep.

Woke up and helped dad to get his stuff done since he was home today. Then it was back to doing the rosary in front of the telly. Glad to say, I made it all in one day. Hee! The only thing is the unequal lengths which I gotta work on when I start doing the actual thing.

Bday & X'mas Wishlist

Actually was helping dad do some stuff at home. Then Ade called to ask if I wanted to go out. But I still wanted to do more of the stuff first before I leave.

Anyway, after meeting up, we went to Chinatown. Saw some lovely findings which I'm so so so darn tempted to buy. But then, I don't wanna waste money. I shall come back to buy another day after I'm certain of what I wanna create and how to create it.

Then we went to Orchard and I saw a few nice stuff. I wanna buy! So I've decided to create a list. To at least know how much all the stuff will cost. Or hopefully, friends will decide to buy that for me lor. Hahaha!
1) Watch - Those metal strap. Not too small and dainty. Neither too chunky.
I'm still looking around for it. Yet to find one which I really like.

2) Black & Pink Nike shoes. Cost $93 but there is a 30% discount and World Of Sports members get additional 5% off. So after discount will be about ~$60.

3) Black Puma jacket. Cost $72 but I think there is a 10% discount. There is probably more than one plain black design in the store. But its the material which is different. The jacket is smoother, not so much cotton. Really considering this cause its always so cold in class.

4) Bag - Big enough for me to carry a 500ml water bottle and A4 paper.
I'm still looking around for something I'd fancy.

Hmm... Alrites, thats probably all I can think of for now lah.
My list of what I hope friends will give me. *Hint hint*
But if really so sad case then I'll wait for money to come then I'll go get it myself lor.

Maybe I should do a list of stuff which I don't wish to receive.
1) Make up stuff - such as, eyeshadow, blusher, lippies, mascara, nail polish etc. I got a lot already. Some still brand new.
2) Perfume - Too much to use.
3) Soft toys - My cupboard is bursting.
4) Photo frame - I've no where to place.
5) Mug - I'm satisfied with my big mug already.
6) Clothes - I'd prefer to try on to see if its nice on me.
The Puma jacket falls under clothes right? But at least I've tried it on already. =)
7) Necklaces - I'm lazy to change unless its a special occasion or in the mood for something different.
8) Living creatures - I've already got 2 turtles to care for.

Yep, so thats about it. I think I should take out my mini x'mas tree for show. Its time to get into the x'mas mood. Hahaha!

Supposed to test out the manicure stuff today. But since today went out, so didn't lor. Then will probably postpone doing anything nice cause I'm trying to make a rosary for grandma. Gotta get the trial set done asap! Then I can start with the actual thing.

Arrghh... So many things to do! I still got homework, planning of my family party, clearing my room, sorting my notes and the list just goes on and on. Yikes! Better sleep early and get things started tomorrow.

Manicure

Stupid bank, tried to deposit money but they just wouldn't accept my notes. Not as if its fake mah! Got the watermark one leh but still, the dumb atm won't eat it up. So I tried to queue at another atm and try again. Same results and only made me reach my class late.

What a surprise, someone brought a very tiny kitten. Awww... Its smaller than my palm! So so cute that I couldn't help but carry it for a while. The sound of the innocent meows simply gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Had manicure lessons after that. But need patience. Lots of it! Was pretty interesting to learn the proper way of grooming my nails. I never realised that mine nails are considered dry till today. Hmm... So yep, shall use whatever I bought last time diligently ba.

Ha! Then as usual lah, itchy hands again, decided to buy more nail stickers and nail polish to add to my collection. Reason being? X'mas coming, can buy to try haha! Think I'll try it tomorrow. Should anything sway sway goes wrong, at least I still got some time to let my nails grow back.

Expensive Eyes

Theory lesson today. Don't feel like bringing my barang barang to school but then, if I don't bring, I won't be able to do my homework after class. I know I sure stray if I attempt to do it at home. But then, since today I was kinda late liao, so just decided not to bring lah. If really need to use then maybe muaha... too bad lor.

Came back home early then went to check my eyesight. Damn it... Astig getting higher already. Gotta switch to the astig lens and they're gonna burn a freaking hole in my pocket! But no choice lor. Ordered the lens which are gonna cost me $180. Wah liao! How to save money?

Then its hellooo couch! I love napping then after that just wake up to eat dinner and tv tv tv all the way.

So uncleJ decided to ask me if I'm throwing any party or not. Hmm... Actually I was still deciding which day but haven't confirm. Since I'll be studying on my actual birthdate, then decide to do a 2-in-1 celebrations with X'mas.
Wheeee!!! So I'll still be having my party after all eh? Hahaha! A nice small family gathering with potluck dinner so that I don't need to bother so much bout the food on the day of party.
Then godma started laughing at me cause I still cannot chew food. Then if they cook all those meat items, how am I gonna eat? Say since its a potluck and they're supposed to get back to me with their food list, she said maybe she will make tau hu, tau gua, tua huey.
Awww man! That's so gonna suck!

Conz decided to give me the magazine and concealer. Thats like 22 bucks but she'll absorb the cost of it. How sweet!

Alright... Time to log off already.

Marathon

I could sleep as late as I want, wake up as late as I want since I went to church yesterday.

My Bros had to wake up bout 3am to prepare for the marathon they were participating in. One paid to run seriously, the other just paid to run half the marathon for fun.
Me? I'd rather save the money and participate in a sleeping marathon on my bed.

My homework is piling up but yet I've not touched it. I just don't feel like doing leh...

Feeling Damn Down

Blogging for yesterday cause I was very down. Physically down, drained and nauseous that I was knocked out by 11.30pm!

Yesterday's lesson on hair, we had to bring a long hair model. So I managed to get Xuelin to go cause she was the only one free on a weekday afternoon. Hmm, so we had to learn how to do curling. Well, I didn't really try how to make the rollers cause I was a bit lost form. One of the instructors was like talking to me, then she suddenly said, "Jess! What happened to you?? How come suddenly break out so bad?"
Come to think of it, my face was quite ok before going for the makeover on wednesday. So I guess I can conclude that never use items which has been overly used without them cleaning it. So not worth it.

Then my lunch sucked cause I paid $4 for a bowl of fish porridge where the fish was like barely there and whatever I could find tasted chewy and not fresh.

Anyway Xl came and I was engrossly trying to curl her hair. Because the curling tong was so hot, I occasionally nearly burnt myself. But lucky, didn't burn her lah. If not, poor girl, come help me end up get hurt then no good mah.

I started to feel nauseous already but then I just passed it off. Can't go home to rest either cause I agreed to meet up with Lynn to go shop after she finished work. So we headed over to Coffee Bean where I treated Xl. Then she had to leave and Huajun decided to come meet us after work.

Went to shop while waiting for Lynn. After like damn long then found out that she was in a meeting and just finished. Lucky we were already shopping and didn't wait for her at the MRT. Finally we came and we just shopped at FEP. But I think as the time passed, I was getting more and more moody due to the throbbing headache.

We decided to share a cab back and I nearly puked on the cab cause the driver's reaction to turn at one of the junction was rather slow. We ended up having to travel the stretch of Orchard. The cab kept on jerking cause the traffic was heavy. But then, to puke a bit gross lah, so I just beared with it. Tried to sleep, hoping that it will help but it didn't cause the driver suddenly slam brake while travelling on the expressway, jolting me right awake with the pain again.

I alighted first and dragged my bags back. Quickly went to bathe and dried my hair and crawled into bed. Dad and bro knew I wasn't feeling very well, but to see me knock out before midnight, gave them the feeling that something was really not right. Even when I was sick last time, I still would sleep after 12. But not last night. So this morning, they kept on asking if I was feeling better or not.

I was feeling much better. Slept quite a bit and downed lots of water. Anyway, I think I suffered from dehydration. Whole day I think I drank less than 3 cups of water. Sometimes I think when I'm too engrossed in doing something, I tend to forget to take proper care of myself. Mustn't forget that I'm still human.

Anyway, today didn't do much also. Just stayed at home, chat, play online games then went to church cause bro ask me to accompany him to attend mass today instead of tomorrow. Then went for dinner with him and dad.

December Is Here

Yeahhhh... Its December already. I love december. Lots of reasons for me to love december.

Three main reason are:
1) 22 more days to my birthday
2) 24 more days to christmas
3) Festive lights all look so nice

Slacking day where I just don't feel like doing anything. Tried to clear my table but not very successful cause it still looks messy. Buahahaa!

Conz's bf is back from Japan. He managed to help me get one of the magazines. Yeah! So met auntM for dinner cause she took the magazine from office to pass to me.

Basically, tv tv and errmm more tv followed.

Bad Day

Anything that could possibly go wrong, went wrong.
Anything that could possibly irritated me, irritated me.
Anything that could possibly make my day bad, made my day bad.

First of all, I had a nightmare! Crazy nightmare lah. Lately, I've been having a lot of dreams of animals leh. Last week, I had a dream that someone gave me a rabbit for my birthday. Scene was in uncleJ's old house. Surroundings more or less the same. Then the rabbit was free to run around, in and out of the gate, until it decided to pee next to the main door. Someone in the dream got so mad at the rabbit but I rushed in to defend the poor helpless rabbit. Then I woke up. So that was it.

Then today was another dream, erm... more like nightmare. In the nightmare, I owned 2 dogs and 1 furry cat. Brought them out for a walk. The 2 dogs were happily playing with each other at the side of the road. The cat felt lonely and decided to wander away. Wandered onto the road, I saw it and quickly tried to catch it back. Caught the cat and brought it back to the pavement together with the dogs. Then the cat felt bored again and walked on to the road again. I tried to catch it, but it managed to struggle free cause it was so furry and it dashed across the road. Unfortunately, it was run over by a tank. Don't ask me how come a tank was there... I also can't explain. Anyway, I think its a tank or something with those kind of wheels. Somehow, the cats head was caught in the wheels and it got squashed. After the tank moved on, all thats left was the unsquashed cat's body lying on the road. I felt so guilty. Felt so bad, emotions ran high and I was wailing my lungs out.

I woke up only to find myself crying. I told myself, its just a nightmare and I promptly went back to sleep peacefully.

Woke up and went to prepare to go to the dentist. I was late. Then to make things worst, the train stopped at the station and the announcement came on that there would be a delay. Then by the time it reached the interchange, and I walked to change trains, I missed the one by just 30 seconds. Darn! That 30 seconds cost me an extra 8 minutes of waiting time.

Doc checked my braces and said that one of it has been dislodged. Scared me lah! I thought he was talking to me and telling me that my tooth has been dislodged. I think I "huh?" very loudly. Hahaa.. But he was actually talking to the nurse to ask her to get new replacement bracket for me. I had to endure extra spine chilling things cause my teeth were moving too fast. So doc needed to put a stopper to keep it together. Asked what colour I want, I said I wanted green and orange for the festive mood. I know orange isn't really the christmas colour, but then, I don't want red lah, red leave for next month for Chinese New Year. With the stopper in place, I was done and could leave. Doc told me cause of the stopper, he said, "you should only eat soft, small pieces of food for the time being." When I heard the words 'time being', I asked how long would that be since my birthday and X'mas is around the corner. He replied, at least 2-3 months. MONTHS?!?!?!??? Did I hear wrongly? I couldn't believe my ears and wanted to confirm again. "Har!!! Months ar?" Ya... I didn't hear wrongly.

Went to have lunch with godma. Wah liao eh... I practically can't eat anything in the food court except sliced fish with rice. Cause of the stopper, my mouth can't close properly, so can't chew. I just put swallow my rice without chewing lor. Suddenly, rice is my new best friend.

Then went to those bread toast shop. Saw they had this cupcakes which I used to eat when I was a little girl. So I wanted to try. As I was queueing, godma came and told me something bout soft bread. So... Thinking that she was referring to the cupcakes, I ordered soft bread. Then I saw them talking the bread and placing it on the toaster. I knew it was wrong and too late to change. But the bread is quite nice.

Walked around the Orchard with godma. Went to pay up for the workshop event. Then went to the Kino to find some books. After that, godma left and I had about 2 hours to kill before meeting Lynn for the makeover.

Decided to go to the library. Couldn't find the books I wanted, ended up reading other types of books. Till Lynn called to say she would be late and I should go for the earlier slot.

My first reaction when the sales person did my foundation was YUCK! They were using this pathetic latex sponge measuring less than 2cm on each side which was overused. Clearly any idiot can tell that they never change it. I mean like for hygiene reasons, if you wanna use such a small sponge, at least change new one lah. Or if you use a big sponge, use the clean sides for each person lor. But no choice, before I could even say anything, she was already applying foundation even before the toner/moisturizer could even dry off! Problem number two cause that may cause clogged pore! Wah liao!
Other than that, the makeover was quite nice, I love the glittery eyeliner.

Then Lynn had to leave to go elsewhere. I went to buy some bread for dinner.

Damn it... I got accused of trying to cheat them. See, I was buying just one item at $1.30. Then when I approached the counter, there were 2 cashiers there. There were some promo items where you buy 2 at $2 instead of usual price. So I asked one of them if I could mix items, they said can. So I took one of each. Then it was my turn to pay. The one who packed my items told the other one what were I picked. Items came up to $2.50. I paid $5 and got back only $0.50 change. So after taking the change which was much lesser, obviously I would move aside to check the receipt instead of hogging the cashier area right? Receipt showed that I was charged for my first item at $1.30 and the full price of 1 promo item at $1.20. Total came up to $2.50 instead of $3.30. So according to the receipt I should get back $2.50 change mah. Then I went back to find the cashier and told her the mistake. She double checked my items and said that I should pay her back $0.80 instead. I said that she only returned me $0.50 why should I pay more? She made a big fuss out of it even when I told her nicely. Then the other cashier asked her whats going on. Insisted that she gave me $2.50 change and accused me of keeping the $2 before coming back to check. Bloody hell. Accuse me of petty theft? That made me so pissed that I wouldn't even let the whole thing even if its just 10cents. Cause if I did, that would really make me look like I'm trying to cheat them which I wasn't.

The cashier is a bit brainless! I mean, think of it from an employee's point of view, if you undercharge a customer, the customer can happily and quietly walk away. At the end of the day of accounting and the amount doesn't tally, maybe you have to top up the extra from own pocket right? So if customer comes to tell you that the amount has been charged wrongly, shouldn't you be happy that they are honest enough and that you don't have to pay the company for your mistake?
True that sometimes customers may not be always right. But it is probably basic manners to ask properly instead of indirectly accusing customer of committing petty theft immediately right?
A bit brainless is probably an understatement.
So much for PM Lee's vision for better customer service.

The glitter from the face was damn hard to remove. I cleaned off the make up very well, wiped my face twice, scrubbed my face once, cleansed it twice and still its there. PoWeR!

Window Shopping

Lesson was on colour. I don't know how come they didn't cover the part where they teach you how to match eyeshadow with the clothes. They only teach which eyeshadow colour would goes well with another.

After lesson, pretty tired, don't have anywhere so head home. But before that, went window shopping at the mall. Wow, suddenly the mall seems so different. So many shops under renovation at the same time. New shops sprouting out.

Finally got the chance to buy my file, then went to shop somemore. Ohh... I bought this eye wash thingy, its a solution which you are supposed to pour into this mini cup and place it around your eye and let the eyes "swim" in it.

Went to NTUC to compare cereal contents. Damn bo liao right? Yep, I know!

Then came home and rested a while, went back to shop at NTUC. Bought so much stuff, carry till my hands felt like breaking.

Got my turtles new type of food, but they don't seem to like it, maybe not used to it. Poor things, always eat the same type of food for so long, sure will get bored. So must give them variety.

Stupid Arcade Machines

Went to school today. Learnt how to apply make up for male and elderly people. Erm, cause my bro has so kindly agreed on being my model to practise, on condition that dinner is my treat. He didn't want just any kind of food, so no food court, no fast food, no cheap stuff. He wanted Cafe Cartel. So I said ok, we order the ribs to share then fill ourselves on bread. But no lor! That bugger retorted that he could finish the serving of ribs by himself and that will probably not want to share with me.

Anyway, since he was only coming after lunch, I just slacked around class, chatting the time away. Then he came, so I can start practising. Somehow either I forgot or skipped steps or guy's make up really like not much difference.

To borrow his face very expensive leh. We ended up eating at Manhatten Fish Market cause I was more tempted to eat that then Cartel. Dinner was yummy! I kept on saying I wanted to watch movie. But too bad, no interesting show to watch.

So we ended up going to the arcade. I think he purposely don't bring money when he left home. I ended up paying everything. Whatever games we played also I pay. Hmm... Actually its just that I haven't played arcade games in quite a while, so just feel like trying for fun. Those machines where u play based on luck to see if you can win prizes like PSP, Nokia 6680, 6630, cameras and such. As much as it seems like it is based on luck, I doubt it lah. Its probably the damn program's codes. Irritating, make me spend a few bucks trying it out.

Then there are those machines where you supposed to position the clamping things to pick up your prize. They are so jian can? I tried 3 machines, 3 all different kinds.
First kind, they put tape so that you cannot go beyond a certain distance then you can't pick the thing up. So I wasn't even able to get to the prize I want.
Second kind, the clamp thing is so weak, its impossible to even lift the soft toy out. There was this toy which was so close to the drop off hole. My aiming was perfect! But cause the thing was so weak, it was just like stroking the toy more than pinching it up.
Third kind, the jerk when lifting the toy is so hard, it makes it drop down again. This one, me and bro tried few times each and our catches were again perfect. This one lifted. But once it lifted the toy up and going to the drop off hole, there would be like this spring effect which will cause the toy to drop off.
Damn it!
Next time go arcade, don't bother playing those by luck or catch prize games. Waste money and only inflicts self-agony. Play those other games still got entertainment and not so pek cek.

Busy Weekend

Wow... My whole weekend burnt! I didn't do my homework as I'm supposed to do. I had other plans.

Friday:
Had the hair styling course today. Wah liao... Its getting tougher and tougher. I can't really catch up. Further more, my eyesight sucks. I think contact lens degree need to change already. I can't see clearly! Lesson was on braiding, I can only do with 3, can't get the hang of doing with 2 or 4.

Came back home, slacked a bit then watched 'Saw' at midnight with Bros. Since 'Saw 2' coming out soon, so must watch the first part beforehand. Ehh... I don't find it scary. Its more of the gross kind off show. Basically, the show summary is that if you get to know the wrong person, you'll wake up finding yourself in some shitty place and having to kill others just to stay alive.

Saturday:
Woke up on time, supposed to prepare to meet Py cause we were going to Sitex at the Expo to look for printer. bro wanted to cook lunch and he wasn't really sure how to cook, so gotta tell him. Then after that he made this baked mushrooms topped with cheese, it was good!

So in the end, we were supposed to meet 10.30am, ended up pushing back to 11.30am. Then walked around Tampines Mall before heading over.

Sitex was maddness! The place was crowded, flyers being thrust into my hands like nobody's business, it was havoc! Anyway, only went with Py cause both of us searching for the same thing. Then going in too big a group is quite hard to move around.

Found the ideal printer. Although daddy gave me money to buy it this morning, I felt that I should consult him and Bro first before buying. Py also same case, gotta consult sister first. So our main aim was to collect brochures.

After that we were damn bo liao. Took the train from Expo to Tanah Merah then to Pasir Ris. Then from Pasir Ris to Raffles. From Raffles to our different destination. We went the extra stops just so that we can get seats to rest our tired legs.

Went to Godma's house. Grandma cooked nasi lemak cause I missed her cooking and requested for it. It is so so so so nice! I love the chilli! Cause I asked grandma not to make it too hot. Mmmm... Sedap! The egg, sambal prawn and ikan bilis was just as good!

Sunday (Today):
Followed daddy to church, then headed off to Sitex again. This time to buy the printer after deciding. Heh.. At least got transport so I don't have to lug the whole heavy thing back home myself. Since dad's sending me, help Py buy also lor.

We waited in line for more than 15 minutes just to get into the carpark. The place was maddness again lah. Blehhh... Was hoping the price will drop. Sadly, it didn't. Then still no extra freebies except an umbrella. Everyone squeezing here and there. Dad also didn't want to stay long. So we just bought and left.

Bro asked me to test the printer. So while we were setting up, then he was reading the manual, I went to the sofa and just plonk down and slept. Simply too tired already. Only had 20 minutes to nap before going for Salsa.

Last lesson today. Class was also earlier cause Lynn had to attend wedding dinner and asked if it was possible to push forward. We actually learn more than what is supposed to be taught cause we're fast learners.
No lah... Crapping lah. Cause we don't have any guys in the class so nobody need to learn the guy's steps, so faster lor.
At the end of the lesson, teacher asked if we were keen to go on to intermediate. Ehh.. I didn't want cause no partner mah. Then Lynn said she will do guy's role next time lor. Why? Cause I'm shorter.

Haha... But never mind, I am short lah. Resigned to fate long ago.

After that, she came over to my place. Supposed to help her do make up for her friend's wedding dinner. My dining room light a bit dim so quite hard to see. By right, the best lighting to apply make up in my house is my room. But then, room quite damn messy and I don't want to keep bending down to the floor to take my stuff. So just made do with the dimmer light. Due to the shortage of time, I was feeling a bit kan cheong. Forgot some steps which she reminded me off. Had to redo the lips cause she wasn't used to the colour. After that it was fine. Anyway, I think overall she looked very different.

Met Ade for dinner. Then walked around the mall which looks so unfamiliar. So many shops closing for renovation, changing hands, etc. But good lah, at least some newer shops to patronize. Haha!

Oh yes, before I forget, Happy Birthday to Py.

Slacked

Wheeee... Another lazy day at home.

Made myself some garlic bread for lunch. Yummy!

Was so bored that I steamed my own face and did a mini facial. Blasting the radio so loud cause nobody is at home. Radio is in my room the volume was so loud, walking to any part of the house also can hear it.

Was slouching on the couch and listening to my mp3 while starring blankly in the ceiling. How peaceful. Deciding if I should do my homework or not. But I decided against it. Turned on mtv and watched the European Music Awards for a while.

After doing the laundry, I went to take a nap. Napping during a lazy afternoon is the best substitute for retail therapy when the bank is running dry.

Fishy Business

I didn't sleep very long last night. I woke up quite early, considering that I didn't set my alarm. bro was still at home, not intending to go out cause he needed to study. I didn't want to go out and buy lunch either. I'd rather cook.

Heh... Cooking without recipe can sometimes result in disaster. Especially if you are not sure and happily set the microwave to 10 minutes on high and busy doing something else and forget to check. Overcooked fish taste hard and a bit rubbery while mushrooms and garlic just become chao tah. Tastebuds wish they could go on strike. Stomach wish it didn't have to digest it. I just wanted to quickly get the meal over and done with asap. I dread to even finish that 1 piece of fish.

Well, this was what really happened few weeks ago. I heard Bro saying that to cook the fish, he set it 10 minutes on the microwave. So I followed thinking that it has been tested and correct. So wrong! When I checked with him, he said ya... 10 minutes but not on high! On the preset function! ARgggh!

So this afternoon, I didn't want to follow anybody but myself. Cooked it my way, my style, my estimation. If its another disaster, heh heh, at least I got my other bro to share the unappetizing food with. Nah na nahhh. But I'll try my best lah.

When all the food was ready, I called him out to eat. But I think he didn't like the soup. The soup was those instant mix kind which came in the form of powder then you add your own water. He kept on eating the fish. Judging from the way he ate, 2 pieces of fish for both of us wasn't enough. I think my agarism for the timing and the seasoning were pretty good. La-di-dahh...

After clearing up, I slacked in front of my com surfing net for the whole day. Then at night, dad came home with my mail. Yes! Finally! The medical concealer which Conz bought for me has arrived! What a relieve!!! I thought it was lost in the mail cause I should have received it on thursday or friday, latest also saturday. Anyway, the envelope was torn almost into half already. The concealer was small and it could have easily slipped out and got lost totally. But thank goodness that it didn't. It was still snuggly placed in the envelope and undamanged. It took so long to arrive cause the good people at SingPost went to place it in a plastic bag, sealed it and then send it out.

So I'm like thinking, what if it was a cheque? Or worst still, cash, gift vouchers or other important paper thin stuff? I'll probably cry... But since its not, lets rejoice! Yeyyy!!

Getting Later And Later

Yesterday:
My bad habit is returning. I'm turning up later and later for class. Teacher asked us to DIY first then lesson will start. After the demo and all that, we were supposed to do on each other. I don't know why but everyone kept asking me the same question, "did you go and perm your eyelash?" Answer is of course "No". I've sort of mastered the skill of curling my own eyelash. But not yet for curling other people's eyelash. I'm more confident than before, but still not as confident as I am aiming to be.

*I think my memory is failing... I can't seem to recall what happened yesterday in class leh...*

Never mind, shall talk bout after class. I actually asked Lynn to accompany me down to Suntec to get the pair of shoes at Charles & Keith. But cause my lesson ended early, I decided to go down and walk walk alone first. Well, I finished walking from Robinsons to Citylink to Marina Square then to Suntec. Then it was still early lah. So I called and asked if Lynn had already left or not. If not, I'll probably go get my shoes and leave. But she left liao but a bit troublesome to comedown, so in the end, didn't. Feel bad cause she actually dropped her work just to meet me. But ok lah, at least she gets more rest.

Anyway, to find the shop was damn hard lah! I followed the directory and went to look for it. I'm not a street idiot so I know how to see directories and I got a pretty sense of directions. But after carrying my huge bags around for almost half an hour in Suntec, I wanted to give up. Went to the information counter to get directions but also couldn't find it. Why? Cause the unit number 138 and 140 are next to each other. But 139 which was next to 150+ units lor. According to the directory, it should be in Tower 3 but it was in Tower 2. Tell me lah! How to find!?!?!

After that, I was so tired, that I was lazy to walk to the MRT to take a train back where I had to stand due to the peak hour. I rather slack at the bus stop to wait for the bus.


Today:
Nothing much, just that this time, I was really late for lesson. It was raining and I felt damn reluctant to leave my house. Don't want my box to get wet so I actually placed a plastic bag over it. Wah liao... Look so weird. Haha! Reached class, teacher's assistant start the lesson le. Talking bout don't know what thing. I also missed it. Forgot to ask my friends. Whoops.

Again people ask me bout my eyelash. Haha! OK... Never mind. Forgot to hand up homework cause I forgot to do. I seem to forget a lot of stuff recently hor? Darn...
Later I'll mention bout my classic case of forgetfulness.

Lesson ended quite early. Think everyone was quite tired.

K, the classic case. Just now in the evening, dad boiled water and went to bathe, leaving me and Bro to listen out for the boiling water then turn off. He came out and asked me if the water has boiled, cause he knows I'm forgetful and later forget to off the fire and Bro may be too engrossed in his studies for his exam tomorrow. I said nope, didn't off. Asked Bro who also said didn't off. Dad wondered if we ran out of gas, so went to the kitchen to check. Ehh... Off leh. Bro said he didn't off, I said didn't off, can't be my dad cause he just came out... So who was it? Then dad said, "just now you were using the phone in the kitchen lah... Maybe you just off it while you are on the line." I still can question him, "is it? I only remember drinking water in the kitchen. Not turning off the fire leh." Until now, I still don't know if I really did. I forgot leh... Serious!

Heyyyy Macarena

Met aunt for lunch after church. Ohh.. She gave me a bag of those stones and necklaces, she said I can take it apart and assemble it however I deem fit. Cool sia! I love the turquoise coloured stones.

Came back home, initally wanted to head on down to Charles & Keith to choose the pair of shoes I reserved. But after thinking of it, I rather save transport. Haha! A bit pointless to go down all the way, collect and go for Salsa.

Stayed at home, chat on the net, play msn games and basically, multi tasking.

Went for Salsa after that. I was considered early cause Lynn was late and the other girl can't go. So was talking to the instructor's assistant. Asking a lot of questions and all that bout how she started. Then after that she mentioned that they were going to some Latin night thingy after class. If interested can go take a look.

Wahh... Lesson damn dizzy lah. I think I couldn't really get the moves right. Ha! Like by luck kind lor. Then they kept on laughing cause one moment can then next moment can't. But never mind, ai zhai lah. After a while managed to get it right, but still can't configure tune my head to not end up dizzy. Ehh... After studying IT for so long, it seems very natural to use the word "configure" when you want to change/set something. Wahaha!

After class, the 4 of us just stood there and talk lor. Then the instructor and his assistant keep thinking that we are very much underage and we cannot go into clubs, cannot do a lot of things. So we were like reminding them that we're already 20 lor! *Ahem* I'm still 19 coming 20 only. The only thing I haven't done which will be against the law is to watch R(A) stuff.

Anyway, me & Lynn decided to tag along to the dance club to see the Latin night thingy. First song which we heard when we went in was "Macarena". We couldn't stand it and burst out laughing cause that is so way back liao lor... That song was hot in 1996. Not 2005! But what to do, latin mah... Haha! I am still laughing as I type this entry when I think of the song's music video.

Seeing all the aunties and uncles dance to the beat, wahh... some really very energetic lor! The place was like Zouk or Chinablack to the above 40s. We were easily the youngest guest inside there. Don't know why, all of a sudden, the music changed. Changed to live performance. They were singing those chinese oldies. Ehh... The both of us quite bored there lah. Hoping the live performance will end fast. But it didn't. By the time it ended, Lynn was quite tired liao and wanted to leave. I wanted to watch the next few songs which were of Rock & Roll. Then still no Latin lah! We decided to finish up our beer and leave. Why got beer? Cause the instructor treat lor. But then before that they were thinking whether its legal for us to drink. Will our parents mind us drinking, what if we go home then got the alcohol smell blah blah blah, treating us like small kids. Wahaha!

Once out of there, we headed over to the Pasar Malam cause it was the last day liao. Wanted to buy some food back for my Bros. Then don't know why I asked Lynn if she ever tried the smelly dou fu before. Then after much talk bout it, she decided to try it! When we were standing there waiting for it, she kept tugging me and complaining its damn smelly, gross and all that. Told her that before we get our food, its still not too late to back out. Cause although I find it nice, I don't want to eat all by myself. But she didn't back out. She just stood there pinching her nose.

We ate as we walked to the bus stop. She dare not try lah. So again, I must eat first to show her that won't die lah. Then she tried and immediately liked it cause the taste is totally different from the smell. Sure, the smell may stink, but the taste... is mmm-mmmm-good!

Too bad, now that Lynn likes it, the pasar malam last day so she won't get to eat another round of it so soon.

Tiring day today... Time to sleep.

Worms

Stayed home the whole day, slacking my time away. Relax... Didn't really feel like doing anything. Tried to do the beads thingy, but damn tiring. See the tiny tiny stuff, wah... see till blur blur.

Decided to take my box pictures to put into the auction site and hope to sell it. Wahaa! Then Bro and uncle saw it, quite interested to know how to go about doing it.

Anyway, bro's gf came over, they bought this pack of sunflower seeds coated with chocolate from those candy shop and happily ate it. Until don't know how long, then they saw that the pack got weavers and worms crawling out of the sunflower seeds. Damn gross lah!

Took pictures out of it. Even got video of the worm crawling in the seed, can't put up here cause too big file.

So after dinner which godma cooked and brought over, they went back to the shop. Told him not to settle for anything less than $100. Be it in cash or vouchers. But then, he came back and said he only got a refund of $6.70. Wah liao! He said they were already so apologetic, so he didn't ask for more. Wah liao! -_-"

Ice Cream Cravings

Hair styling lesson today. I was engrossed with my attempts to get the hair right. But the more I do, the more it differs from the teacher's one. End up some funny messy style. Eh... Took pictures, can compare but I've no time to put it up.

Lesson ended early. Came home and slack. Wa liao... The buyer already received her stuff I sent out yesterday. I still haven't received my stuff which Conz sent out on Wednesday. Hopefully its not lost in the mail leh...

Went to meet Ade for dinner. I got craving for Swensens ice cream. I was hungry so took the main course. By the time I finished, I'm full liao... No ice cream. Sian lah... Didn't satisfy my craving.

Walked around and I decided to get a black pair of Charles & Keith shoes by the recommendation of Lynn. They got one size bigger and smaller than what I wanted. So I couldn't decide. Had to ask them to make reservation, then go another outlet to try.

See No Buy

Surfed net. Prepare the stuff to send out to the buyer. Wanted to go to the bank, but because I drag and drag, by the time bank closed, I was still at home.

Went to pick up the jigsaw puzzle frame for Lynn all the way at Parkway. Then after that went all the way to Bugis to meet her. Looking for a pouch and black shoes for future assignments.
I wanna buy boots lah! They look more stylo, more class and can probably last longer. The are designs available here are nice. But price also very nice lah. Overseas designs are much nicer, sold cheaper but how to buy? I'm not going any seasonal countries any time soon. I can't ask people to help me buy without trying. Can't buy over the net without trying either.

Anyway, I decided that I won't buy it, cause its so not practical to wear in the hot and humid climate. But still... Its so NICE!!!

Aimed the pouch already, now just looking around to see if will find anything which is nicer than that.

Ate at Yoshi, then headed home.

Onlined Whole Day

Wahaha! Damn happy cause I slept for 12 hours. Mood very good today.

Surfed net whole day. Entertaining someone who was interested in one of my item in my auction page. She kept on trying to bargain for lower price. I'm selling it at $15 excluding postage of $1, she wants to buy at $10 including postage. Siao boh??? Anyway, after much bargaining, I was only willing to let go at $15 inclusive of postage. Wahaha! Cause today I'm in good mood mah. So ok lah, I absorb the cost of postage. Otherwise, days in normal/bad mood, I will just reply "sorry prices are fixed."

Actually I was trying badly to get rid of that top cause it was a wrong order on my ex-colleague's part. So its not even my and I had to pay for it. Then I was trying to cover at least half the lost or hopefully breakeven. Ok lah, at least I only lose out about $2. Sure beats hanging in my cupboard and few years more it will turn yellow right?

Trying hard to clear my emails in my account. Last time either forget to delete or felt like keeping. Now don't care... Delete! DeLeTe! DELETE! But I think yahoo was lagging a bit leh. I had to open 3 windows to view and delete emails. Doing simultaneously helped. Otherwise, I think delete till tomorrow also can't finish.

Computer acting up and slowing down leh. Don't know why. I didn't even install much stuff yet.

Conz said she will send out my medicine concealer out today. The one she helped me buy the other day but not willing to send out without bubble wrapping it. So hopefully I can get it soon cause my pimples are just popping out like hell. Cheaper to send out than we go meet each other to take. Furthermore she stopped working for a while for taking exams, otherwise can ask aunt to be middle person.

Godma said that Godfather got me 3 magazines from Hongkong. Wahaha... I didn't expect so many. I was expecting 1 or at most 2. Now I got 3. Goody goody! More variety to choose from.

Escargots Again

Today I left house a bit late. But good, at least I met Ym on the train. Haha! Journey wasn't so boring cause got someone to talk to.

Then after I got off and walking to the train, I met Hj. From the back view, I was wondering if it was her. Hairstyle, way of walking, type of clothing and shoe also look like. Only the bag she was carrying wasn't her style. Then she flipped her hair and immediately I confirmed it was her. So walked up and called her. Ha! Another person to accompany me for erm, just 2 stops lah.

Anyway, I didn't really want to go out after class, but change of plans today. Going out in the evening.

Yesterday I was told to volunteer for the demo today. But I quietly sat at the back and pretend nothing happened. Then after that teacher realised and I had to sit there for the demo.
After that we had to do on each other. Then cause me and another girl tried different colour, teacher said we should have just stuck to the colours shown cause what we used was actually a different style. But how should we have known mah.

After lunch came back and played a game of heart attack. This time is different. We are only given a few minutes to do a certain step on each other then gotta switch. If we don't make it within that time frame, then our partner will look weird with just one side done. So gotta do fast. Training us up on our speed.

By the time we were done, it was already about 4pm. We could leave. But then since I know I'll only be meeting Lynn at bout 6.30pm I still had so much time. So I decided to play with make up. Earlier in the morning, I kept on asking my classmate to put blue colour as blusher. But she didn't want. So since I wanted to try how was the effect like, I decided to try it myself. Then after the teacher's assistant wanted to talk to the whole class, was a bit paiseh so I was standing there with one hand covering my cheeks.

Done talking, I carried on with my playing. Classmates thought why I go do that? I said I was just doing it for fun. Then a few of them kept on saying I should add this add that for more ghostly effect.

Presenting... Ru Hua & The Vamp


For those who don't know who is Ru Hua, well, high 5! I also don't know who is that. I only know is some character from some variety show which I never watched.

Anyway, we were supposed to act fierce and angry. But we couldn't do it cause we kept on laughing just as the shot was about to be taken. I don't think I look fierce. I think if I'm a real vampire, going to suck someone's blood, that person will probably burst their guts after lauging out too hard. Then I got to take a straw and suck out the blood or lick the blood from the ground.

Since I was still so early and had so much time, I slowly drag and drag. Oh and I saw Jas working at some roadshow. So I slacked there to kill time and it sure beats shopping cause I can put my heavy bag down. Then slowly made my way to meet Lynn.

She told me she was going to change train at Outram, so I calculated that she will be at the front of the train when she takes to City Hall. But then she itchy legs lor, had to go change at Dhoby. Said she was at the back of the train. I only had one minute to walk from the front to the back. When she called me to go in, I went in but she wasn't there. So quickly rushed out. Then she who was also on that train rushed out. Then we realised we got on the right train, but she was at the front, I was told to walk to the back. Wa liao... That train we got on was so empty with seats. The next one we took was packed like hell. Double wa liao!

She went to get her jigsaw which she reserved. We're buying it as her birthday present since we don't really know what she wants at this time. Then hungry liao. Went to eat at Phin's Steakhouse. Wahaha... They served escargots leh...! I want! I want! Lynn never try before so she wasn't too keen on it thinking that escargots are the slimy snails we see on the ground. But after that, she decided she was game to try. Yeahhh!!!

When the escargots came, I took one and tried. Wahaha! Nice nice! But too bad they already took out the shells. Otherwise, I think its quite fun to dig them out. Lynn still a bit hesitant whether to try or not. Kept asking me how was the taste like. Acutally, the taste not that strong. Garlic taste stronger. The feeling of it is a bit bouncy not rubbery like sotong. Finally she tried and she liked it.

The fish and chips there is good too! Although its fried, the fish inside the batter is still quite moist. I wouldn't mind going to place again. But maybe then, I'll try the steak.

Anyway, dinner was her treat. Cause she said ever since she got her pay, she haven't treated me. Plus I got no bloody income. Heh... How nice.

We searched the whole place but couldn't find the shoe shop I wanted to go to. She checked on the net before hand and said that its stated there. Then I guess probably the website wasn't updated. So since we can't find the shop, she promised to go down Bugis with me another day to check it out. Hopefully still got the sale.

Sleepy In Class

Quick update before I go off to bed. I've got 10 minutes to blog only.

Today's lesson was interesting. Playing with eyeshadow colours. Haha! Teacher pointed out that my eyes were the challenging kind. Looks like I'm the only one cause the rest all double eyelid. Heh!

Today's hot topic was asking each other's age. Getting shocked that who and who and who don't look their age. Some look chao lao. Some got kiddy face. I seem to fall under the latter.
The other hot topic was asking occupation. I realised that not many people are like me rotting on most days. Haha! Whoops. Some working full-time, mostly part-time. Me? No-time. Wahaha!

So after lunch, we were given only 45 minutes to complete the whole face. Still haven't trained up to that level, so I just lacked a few steps to the complete look. Not bad lah. Anyway, while doing for my friend, she slept. Then when it was her turn, it was my turn to sleep. Yah... Really slept. Damn shiok lor.

Evening, went to meet up with the buyer for my last gift with purchase bag which I managed to sell off the internet. Wahaha... Extra money for me. But not that much lah. Only $12. Enough to pay for the stuff I need to buy tomorrow.

Ok lah. 10 minutes up. Time to sleep!

Drinks & Dance

So last night, was supposed to meet Lynn at Orchard at 10pm. I was a bit late. Nobody brought camera. -_-" By the time she called me, I was already reaching so was impossible to go home and take.

Celebration was held at ChinaBlack. Managed to get table in the VIP area so didn't have to squeeze with other people. First time clubbing with Serene, Siewling and David. Though I was hoping more familiar people would turn up, sadly, they didn't. The rest were Lynn's friends from elsewhere.

They order drinks like water like that. Started to play the 5-10 game. I was still newbie so I was damn slow at it. They say my maths fail cause I call for 5, I put out 10. Haha! Anyway, most of the time, I was trying to figure out whats going on. My night vision is pretty bad lah. Especially in that kind of lighting. "My astig is leaving me clueless." Sounds familiar? Haha! Quote from the advertisement.

12 midnight, got the cake out and sang birthday song and cut cake. The birthday song was actually drowned in the loud music.

Anyway, it was the most I've drank so far. Though it may not seem a lot compared to the rest but luckily I wasn't drunk. Not high also leh...

We left early cause David started to puke. After going down for fresh air, he stopped for a while. Then we got on the cab and it started again. Think he drank quite a lot cause he was going around asking people to bottoms up and cause of the drinks from the 5-10 games.

Had only a few hours to sleep before waking up to go for mass.
Damn tired but priorities must still be maintained. Then had lunch with dad and bro before heading home and straight for the couch.

Woke up in time for Salsa. This lesson was a lot of turning this time I really cannot take it liao. Very dizzy. Haha! Try one time, rest a while then try again. My problem was cause I kept on looking down on the floor while turning. So after that when I tried not to concentrate on my feet, I didn't get dizzy but my feet movements get a bit mixed up. But I'll try my best!

Wednesday, after a hectic day at the Fashion Event, I slept from 2am till 2.30pm. Wahaha... 12 hours of beautiful sleep. Felt absolutely great!

In the evening, went for the class which I missed yesterday. Something wasn't really right with me. I felt like not doing anything, I didn't wish to step out of my house, but I couldn't. So I forced myself to get ready to leave. It started to pour. I felt even worst, felt like just staying at home completly. But I dragged myself out in the rain, until I reached the mall, saw the long queue of taxis waiting at the stand. Hahaha! I went to draw some money and hopped into one. I think I better go memorize which is the fastest way to get to my school cause I felt like the driver purposely went to make a detour since its a one way street at Orchard, instead of turing out from another route so that I'll reach my school quite fast and won't have to pay so much.

Anyway, I was sitting in another class with all unknown people cause I reached early. Felt a bit weird, but lucky some people from my own class also attended the evening one with me. Then, itchy fingers again, bought some concentrated essence thingy for the face. Haha... When you go for facials or whatever, they will try to psycho you to buy it at bout $15-$20, I got it at erm, $6.

Thursday. What did I do? Stay at home and tried to copy my notes into a book. But then, I've accumulated too much to be done within a day. Tsk tsk.

Friday, went for my hair course. We got our manequin head, aka dolly or better referred to by our teacher as our girlfriend to practise on. Learn how to do buns and from there create our own styles.

Met up with Grace, Hj, Xl, Yl in the evening. Too bad Lynn couldn't make it. I had to lug my big bag of stuff from my hair course around. Anyway, we decided to go for ktv. Went to Kbox and sang the night away into the wee hours. They bargained for an additional hour cause 3 hours wasn't enough. So as long as nobody came to get the room, we could stay and sing on. Even after our 4th hour, nobody came to chase us out. So we stayed on for the 5th hour. Anyway, some pics we took.

By the way, my sugar level would probably shot up to the max! I only drank plain water in the morning. The rest of the day, was grass jelly, lemon tea, sprite, white grape. Blehh... My blood was probably saturated with sugar. Was feeling quite bad that I came back and downed 4 full cups of plain water straight down. Bloated like don't know what. In the middle of the night that I kept on waking up to drink even more. But I felt better in the morning sugar in the bloodstream probably more diluted and going back to normal.

Ok... Enough of blogging. Later going to celebrate Lynn's birthday. But the 4 of them not going and I don't know most of the people who will be going. Gonna get on another sugar high. Be it alcohol or carbonated drinks. Tonight is gonna be another late night. Blehhhh...

Fashion Event

Supposed to be at the Expo at 7am. I woke up at 4 freaking am this morning. Took out my notes to revise a bit.

My experience there wasn't fantastic. Pretty much ruined by a designer and his bitchy model. Blehh...

Other than that, erm... good experience I guess. Get to see what goes on backstage for such events.

Tiring day!

Me, Different?

This week doesn't seem to start off well. Lesson on monday was a talk by an external person. It was supposed to be a full day event but it ended at 1pm. The lesson wasn't fully covered but then the person had two meetings so couldn't continue teaching. But he said will come back for the evening class, so for those who are interested, can stay back. Too bad lah, I couldn't. A lot of people couldn't also. So they said we could sit in for the class during the next intake.

For the fashion show tomorrow, we were initally told that we were just going there to assist the seniors. Little did we expect them to change plans and say we are doing the actual make up for the models. Full make up within 30 minutes, change of make up within 2-3 minutes. Wahh... This time die liao lor... We are just newbies leh. Only attended about 9 lessons and now we are thrown to an unknown place and aghh... its just horrible. Don't know what will happen tomorrow.

I had some buffet dinner with ex-colleagues in the evening. But from 1pm till evening, I didn't know where to go. Wanted to ask Con to come out early to accompany me but a bit bo liao cause we won't have much time to shop before going to meet the rest. Wanted to go back to the office to slack and use net. But after that, decided to call my aunt and see where she was. So accompanied her to do some errants before going to the hotel.

The buffet was pretty good. But I must say, those we expected to have huge appetites surrendered early. Then they kept on saying that I eat so slow. What can I do mah... Anyway, the food there was good. A lot of expensive food items like crayfish, prawns, shellfish, salmon, fish, and lots more. The nice things there were the fried bread ice cream. The durain puree thing and chocolate fountain though the variety was quite sucky.

Anyway, my now my ex-colleagues keep on asking me to go back to the office during office hours to teach them how to use make up. Wah liao... Giving me pressure. As if I'm good enough to teach yet. I'm still a newbie!!! But all of them said I looked so different. Do I? Actually its the eyes. The different type contact lens and eyebrows can really look different.

Disgusting Burger Cook

On the way to church, I told bro that I like my fringe. He asked me why. I said cause can cover my eyebrows. He went on to ask why do I wanna cover? I lifted up and showed him my messy brows. Haha! What to do? I'm letting it grow thicker so that I can reshape it.

After returning home, I was thinking whether I should go take a nap or something else. I decided on something else. But what else? Hmm... Pack room? Nahh, not in the mood. Pluck eyebrow? Hmm... Should I reshape it myself? Or should I wait till tomorrow after lunch, get my teacher to help me reshape it. Haha. At least its professionally done for free.

But after thinking for a while, I decided to try on my own. If wrong then learn from mistakes lor. How bad can it get right? I've been shaping my own brows for years. Just that I want something new.

Anyway, while I was plucking, Bro came into my room, stood behind me and wondered what I was doing. As if he never see me pluck before like that. After a while, dad came in and also see and see like very curious. Again, another one who seemed to have never seen me pluck eyebrow before like that. Then came 2nd bro, also came in and started to ask a lot of stuff. By the way, they came in at seperate times.
Seriously, the three of them have seen me pluck eyebrow for so long but today they seemed so fascinated by it. The other day when I was playing with the eye tape thingy, they just walked past without even the slightest tinge of curiousity, especially when that was something that I was doing for the first time. Today my family is so weird. I thought usually I was the one doing all the weird things, today, they start to ask me bout my usual thing. Hmm...

Left for Salsa abit later than usual today. Reached there on time but I was still not the last. Somehow I was pretty much happy for the whole day. But don't know why, suddenly felt damn cold and unwell. Mood was pretty much ruined. Quite lost form too.

Went to the pasar malam to buy dinner back for bro. We wanted the Ramlee burger. I didn't really walk the whole area but I only found that one stall selling it, so not much of a choice. I was a bit pissed there lah. The stall was just disappointing and the experience was quite a turn off. Why? I'll name turn offs in order of occurance.

Turn off 1: I stood there so long nobody wanted to take my order. Then other people just cut in and order, they take. Wah liao eh... Irritating.
Ok, that never mind. After that I finally placed my order.

Turn off 2: The lady used her bare hands to take the meat patty and throw onto the grill right after she collected money. FIY: She used the same hand to collect money and transfer patty.

Turn off 3: The guy who was cooking cracked the egg onto the grill. As all should know, eggs come from the chicken's ass. The ass is the same hole where the chicken's shit comes out from. I don't think those egg farm people clean each and every one of the eggs before selling. So what this guy did was he cracked the egg directly on the hot pan's cooking area and opened the egg on the same spot!
Tell me, how gross is that? Anyway he cracked 4 eggs the same way.

Turn off 4: A big piece of egg shell about 1cm dropped into the eggs. Instead of picking it out and throwing it away, he mixed the 4 egg yolk and white together.
I was hoping that I don't get that one with the shell.

Turn off 5: Out of the two burgers I ordered, either one had it. Damn it...

Turn off 6: They didn't even warm the buns.

Turn off 7: They used the styrofoam box instead of the paper which has the name printed on it to prove its the authentic Ramlee burger.

The usual scenerio of having and enjoying a yummy Ramlee burger was you order choice of meat patty. Whether you want a special or normal. Most people opt for the special one of course. The cook or assistant will either use tongs to handle the meat or use gloves to assemble the burger. The other hand will usually be free to collect money. They will crack the egg by the side of the hot pan where the edge is before opening it onto the pan. Usually they are quite skilled so seldom see shell. Although there was once I saw a small fragment of the shell drop in, the cook removed it immediately. Just before the patty is cooked to perfection, the buns are warmed. Then it is wrapped into the paper with the name printed on it. Now THAT is probably a authentic hygienic Ramlee burger.

I sure as hell didn't enjoy my dinner. I used my fingers to rummage through the whole burger. But I couldn't find it. I think it was in the one bro took. I did caution him bout the shell. But he just ate it like ignorance is bliss. Anyway, my mood was somehow dampened further because of that. Bleehhhh... Kill me I also won't patronize that stall again throughout this pasar malam duration that they are here.
