Slacking at home yesterday, waiting for time to pass before I can meet up with Xl and Yl who were able to accompany me to Puma at Taka to collect the jacket which I reserved after aiming it at Tampines Mall.
They intended to take that as my birthday present. So just nice, xl saw her friend working there and decided to try to ask if can get staff discount. Then they won't have to fork out so much for the present. The friend was willing to help. Anyway, since got discount and I'm looking for shoes also, I decided to get 1 pair. With the discount, its damn worth it lor. Somemore it was for a pair of new arrival. WHOOOTS!!!!
Anyway, instead of jacket as my present, the shoe became my present. Erm... Cause its only a bit more ex then the jacket after the discount.
I know there is this superstition that cannot give shoe right? The version I heard of is boyfriend cannot give shoe right? If not its like wanting to kick the girl away.
Then how come husband can?
Is it because of the "your money is mine money, my money is mine money" logic?
So if the husband buys the wife shoe, she is indirectly buying it for herself with "her" money. Just that maybe the husband signs for the purchase. Haha...
But regardless lah. I'm not superstitious. So I welcome gifts with open arms.
We couldn't decide where to eat. The two princesses didn't want anything non aircon. I didn't want Mac or KFC. In the end, we went to Cartel. I got cravings for the ribs.
Sat there and yak yak yak away.
Haha... Got 3 new apparals now. Including my pants I bought on wed. I just realised that all 3 items are black! But then I'm just preparing for events in future which requires me to wear all black.
