Deprived Childhood??

Had a family gathering at Merchant Court this afternoon. I must say, the food there is rather good. Its a buffet so there's lots of good food items to name.
Guess there won't be another family gathering for the next few months already. Even if there is, I don't know if my schedule will hold me back or not. Hope not though.

Went back to the PC roadshow to buy the desktop. The main point of going down again was to use the credit card and get a $50 voucher. But then, it was while stocks last and it didn't last.
Ordered the desktop and left the freaking hot hall which was overcrowded with people.

Anyway, the whole area was just filled with people. After shopping for a while, it was time to leave.

Met Vid for dinner. Cf came to join shortly after that.
Haiyo... Because of the 'Vitasoy' drink, Vid kept saying I've got a deprived childhood cause I've never tried that brand of drink before.
One thing led to another, and we were talking about our primary school where they had this scheme for kids to have their recess laid out on the table each day. I was never on that scheme because I wasn't attracted to whatever they had. I do recall some of the items in the list were stuff like congee, kway chap, mee siam, laksa and char siew rice. All of which, I don't like or never tried.
Congee = Gooey bowl of white stuff. Only to be consumed when I'm sick.
Kway chap = Weird bowl of blackish soup and white pieces of stuff floating around.
Mee siam = Hot hot hot stuff. (I wasn't able to take spicy stuff last time)
Laksa = Same as above.
Char siew rice = Weird reddish meat (exterior colouring) with white inside on top of plain rice.

But I don't recall how I spent each recess though. I don't have any impression if anyone came to bring me food or not. I only know I call home rather often cause I forgot to bring my workbook (ehh... or was that in Pri. 3 where I had to pack my own bag?) then I'll end up getting scolded. Haahaa...

Actually I can only recall a bit of my Pri. 1 days. One of which was during ting xie, I was sitting next to this boy who I don't know why, decided to take my scissors. Tried to get it back and he went to open the scissors and somehow my finger ended up being sliced.
Then I let go of the scissors and we just sat there for a split second and were like 'Ohh no! What just happened?'
Had to assure him that it was nothing then suddenly my book was bloody. He started freaking out when he saw the blood. (There I was with a finger dripping blood, and still had to calm him down.) I kept telling him not to tell the teacher cause he may end up getting a scolding (wahh liao.. I was still so nice to someone who cut me!) but then the teacher saw us talking and came over and saw the bloody page. I was sent down to get the cut bandaged up. Don't know if he got a scolding after that or not, but he was damn apologetic after that.
That led me to realised that going down to get wound bandaged was a good way of skipping class eh?

So during PE lesson, I would fall down, get my knees scraped on the sandy part of the field. Then I'll limp away to get wound cleaned and bandaged. Then I'll say its too pain to walk up the stairs so I needed to rest for a while more.
Ohh... But that is of course if I had lessons after PE lah. If PE was the last lesson, I seem to never get injured unless its truly accidental. Wahahahaa...
