Went to school with Careni & Jordie. Finally managed to complete another look. Phew!
2 down, 8 more to go. During lunch, Jordie asked what language I speak at home. I replied english. Then she asked if I understood mandarin? Ha! Do I really give the impression I'm very ang mo pai? Anyway slacked a while before heading home.
Came home and bro's gf came over. She wanted to give bro a surprise after he books out. Then wait wait wait, he still wasn't back. Anyway had to go down to the kopitiam to meet Cf, Py, Vid & Ym for dinner. Heh... Meeting time was 6.30, I turned up at 7+ cause I was waiting at home with bro's gf.
Because of the delay, plans changed. Supposed to head over to Sw's place but they all ended up crashing at my place. It was mahjong session. This time we had more than 3 players. Hee...
I forgot a lot of the rules. Damn blur... Hahaha... Anyhow claim that I win the game at the initial few games.
I just realised I like to quickly win the game, only to find out that my move goes against the rules. Just like the ban luck game over the CNY period.
Sw's bf was like the pro who was coaching us how to play. But he explained chim rules and ways of gaming so fast in chinese, I catch no ball... Cf & Ym had to translate for me. Yes... They kept on laughing at me cause I'm the ang moh pai one.
Thank goodness we didn't play with money. If not I'd have to eat grass for the next week or two. I threw out a tile which could have cost me 30 bucks!
Luck was on my side after a while. Kept on gaming. Heh...
Quite a fun game... Especially when playing with a crazy bunch of friends. Its just more laughter to add on to the shuffling of the tiles. But I must say, its quite brain juice draining.
Py who didn't give a heck about the game initially suddenly became hooked to it.
Now, we're looking forward to session number 3. Just need to find a suitable time.
