Met up with Hj & Xl cause we wanted to go KTV. Hee... I ate my favorite beef noodles again! The auntie gave me the liberty to add my own condiments. So I was like adding the kiam chai until she was like asking me to stop cause she said she doesn't soak her vege to remove the salt.
Then we walked around the area to kill time before going up. Haha! We managed to pass off as students. Anyway, we had from 2pm-7pm to sing. 5 freaking hours for 3 people.
For me, I'll sing half way then stop the song. Haha... Sing till song already then change lor.. Anyway english songs are mostly stupid videos of people looking at scenery, not the original singer and it just sounds weird. Then they will choose the chinese songs for me to sing, which is always standard cause I only know a few. Ehh... 2? Haha!
So while they sang their chinese songs, I was busy wiping out the titbits. Then get them to refill it but it can never last more than 5 songs.
I can do a pretty good impersonation of M2M when they were still hot. They were still young then, and sounded nasal. Hahaha!
After that 5 hours, we left. But I still can't come to a conclusion whether I'm tone deaf or not. Perhaps I am? I don't know. Hahaa... Maybe next time I should do a recording eh?
Had dinner with my relatives after that. The dinner was extremely oily! Every dish had lard. My gosh... The sambal kangkong was loaded with lard. I actually thought they were pieces of fried tou fu. Yes, its that big and that many scattered in that one plate!
Goodness! I can never understand how some people can sink their teeth into a thick layer of pui bak and still say it tastes good. Especially stuff like lard, its animal's oil fried in another kind of oil. Eeeeee.....
Then the other dishes, just looks shiny.
How come they keep increasing the price of oil used in the varies modes of transport but not for cooking? Maybe if cooking oil rises, food will be less oily.
But then again... Wishful thinking on my part.
