Chef For The Day

After waking up today and eating instant kway chap for breakfast lunch, it started to rain. Usually, if it starts raining, I'll be 50% sian and don't feel like going out unless I'm obligated to. Being me, I would rather just stay at home, enjoy the cool weather and maybe go back to sleep. Normally, But today was so different. Despite the rain, I decided to go grocery shopping. Totally so different. Haha! Had this sudden urge to cook.

I walked out of the house without an umbrella without realising until bro asked me how come I don't need umbrella. Haha! Yes, I'm blur.

Anyway, as I was walking towards the mall, I saw my secondary chinese teacher. The one and only chinese teacher who spoke english to me during lessons. I didn't recognize him! Why? Cause last time in school he always wear shirt and trousers carrying books. Suddenly, after more than 3 years, walk past him, he was wearing t-shirt and bermudas carrying groceries. Tell me how to recognize him? He stays around my place meh??? I thought he stays in another area. Unless... He got married then got his own home. Wahaha! Ok lah, next time I see him, I may decide to see if he still recognize me or not. Guess he is still working as a teacher? Cause today is teacher's day so maybe offday can go shop for groceries.

Heh heh... When I go NTUC alone, I die die cannot push trolley. Must carry basket else I'll over buy. Over buy till I cannot carry it home. Anyway, bought whatever I needed. Food to be cooked tonight and I've also planned for days where I'll just stay home to slack.

5 minutes after reaching my void deck, it started to pour damn heavily. *Heng ar!!!* I was back already. If not, I carry so much things in the rain, even got umbrella also will be soaking wet and cold.

Started to prepare and cook. Too long never cook. A bit shou mang jiao luan(hands busy legs messy/confused). I made a bit of mess. Ok. A bit is an understatement.















See the mess I made? Thats just the stove. Still got the messed up basin while preparing.

Daddy helped me clear up the basin mess while I worked on the making the stove messy. Haha! Splat here splat there.

But never mind. The outcome was nice!

bro said, "Vege taste too strong. No meat taste."
Dad's friend (who usually doesn't eat much), "I finished up everything!"
