These few days keep on eating eggs. Thanks to 2nd bro lah. Asked me to buy a pack of eggs, then few days later, he dumb dumb silly silly went to buy another packet without checking the fridge. He keeps on going out, so no meals at home, again I end up being the one who gotta clear it lor. Everyday different styles. Today do mashed hard boiled eggs. Eat egg mayo sandwich. Eh no... cannot call it mayo cause I didn't use mayo. More like egg thousand island sandwich. Anyway, helped 1st Bro make also cause he see the dumb dumb silly silly one buy so many eggs, don't eat very wasteful.
Slacked at home. Wanted to go library to find the accessories stuff. But remembered that I borrowed 4 books already. So no point going down. Got time to kill before going for the seminar so I decided to spend the time placing stuff to sell on Yahoo! Auction.
Reached the school and signed in the guest list. Walked in and one of the instructor recognized me. Say what I'll be hearing today she already explained to me before, only difference was the demo. But ya, thats mine main purpose. Go see the demo. The door gift included a brush. Good quality one... Probably worth more than $10? I don't know...
The seminar was pretty interesting. Learn a few make up tricks. How to make face look smaller, nose look more defined, lips look more pout, eyebrow shape blah blah blah. Ohh well, I'll be learning more in months to come.
Anyway, the intake I'm in is currently full. So I don't get the goodie bag worth bout $400. Darn! If I want the bag, I gotta give up my space in this intake and wait till the next one in December. As much as I want the goodie bag so that I can save money in buying it when I start, I don't think I wanna nua for another 2 months. Relaxing at home is nice... But too much makes me feel like a bum. Anyway, I don't think I will wanna work even if my course is 2 times a week only. Like that more flexible should there be any lobangs for me. Also can do more accessories for myself. Tee hee...
Met Ade after that at Cine. We wanted to watch Corpse Bride but sold out. Went to PS. Also either sold out or first row or too late. Other shows also same problem. So we didn't watch instead. Went to eat at Manhattan Fish Market. I've been wanting to and try out that place. But everytime, no chance. Today, finally got to eat it. Similiar concept to Fish & Co. I like the ambience. Service and food was pretty good too. The only things were that only two of us go, cannot order that many things to try and they don't give those mints after eating all the fishy stuff. But never mind... Next time then go again with more people and bring own mints.
Home sweet home after that. Full like don't know what...
Yeahh!! Today is the last day of the month. Tomorrow is a new and more interesting month! Ohh I forgot to add this other reason to my list in yesterday's entry on why I can't wait for October.
Sixthly, final year project will be released! I'm just kinda excited to see my grade.
If I get...
A, I'll flip and roll on the floor.
B, I'll jump around for joy.
C, I'll be just throw my hands in the air and be happy.
D, I'll just thank God that I passed.
F, I'll sprout vulgarities. Haha!

I'll Be Awaken When September Ends
Yesterday was supposed to go down to the office to return the shirt to boss. But, after scrambling some eggs and eating lor bak from Penang, laziness got the better of me. I decided to just slack in front of my laptop chatting away. Anyway, luckily the stuff which I bought for my Bros were what they liked and I so happened to like too. Cause suddenly I don't know what got into them, they decided to not eat much of whatever I bought. Darn them... Now I gotta slowly eat lor.
That aside, I met up with Lynn for dinner. Dinner is nearby so I wasn't so lazy to go down. Haha! Going to the boss's office is in Orchard. To go down just to return the shirts, very waste of transport money.
So yeh, we were yakking away... I don't know how the topic came up lah. But suddenly we realised we were both interested in taking up some dance course. Haha! Impromtu decision to head over to the C.C. to check out the price. They got a lot of different kinds. Then came the J.Lo, Enrique, Britney and Missy Elliott joke. Controlling our laughter in the C.C.'s office. Anyway, seems like salsa is the cheapest of the lot and it is gonna start soon. In fact, it starts next week. So, she's on, I'm on. We'll go and sign up as soon as I get my allowance. Wahaha! Like so exciting!
We're also going beads shopping. Yeh to make our own accessories. Since I like to shop, and buying accessories is ex, we figure it would be better to use the time, shop for the materials, then make our own to cut cost. I'm a cheapo... Niak hiak! Haha! I don't know how nice the stuff will turn out. But since she knows someone who makes to sell, I guess it will be much easier to source for help. We're just gonna start out small, pool some money together to buy the tools and stuff. See how things progress ba.
Today decided to go and return the shirt, cause in the evening meeting Cf & Py for dinner. Well, since I'm out, I walked towards Orchard library. Along the way, I found this shop to check out their stuff cause I am suddenly into this crafty DIY thingy. I was so fascinated by what the shop had that I spent more than an hour there. Oh I also spent quite some time in Kino searching for books, inspiration or so it may be called. Then finally I reached the library to search for books on how to make accessories. All the books regarding that topic all on loan! Wahh liao eh... Not even one book left leh. Bahh! I don't like to make wasted trips. So I decided to borrow books on my other interest. Photography lor... Oh, and I borrowed a book on Garfield comics. I love fat cat. So cute! Somehow, I only read english comics. No mangas or whatever, don't know why.
Since I had so much time to kill, I sat there engrossed in Garfield. After that, still can go shop shop before Py finally arrived. While waiting for Cf at the station, we got approached to do survey. Ya... Survey for insurance. I got approached to do that exact survey when I was in campus. That "surveyor"/insurance agent was damn persistant lor. Till I got pissed and ignored all calls. Bad impression! Then the other day, one of the insurance agents which got my number during the recent expo event also called. This one wasn't so persistant but I'm getting damn sian of all these agents calling already.
But I still gave, only that *whoops!* one wrong digit. Haha! Save myself the trouble and don't waste my money for handphone. Hiak hiak!
I was so happy to see Cf. Cause we can go eat le. My lunch was just a pie. So tummy was rumbling already. Went to eat at Crystal Jade. I wasn't so crazy about vinegar cause the vinegar was placed far away from me. The la mian kinda sucked caused it wasn't pulled well enough. So chunky. We ate the dessert. Was pretty good so at least it didn't spoil the whole dining experience. I'm wondering if it was cause it wasn't that crowded so the crew was pretty free. The moment we finished each item, when the plate was empty, chopstick down, they would clear. Really! Less than 1 minute after finishing they swarmp to the table and took away the bowls as if they were desperately short of utencils.
Shopped around after that. Saw some nice clothes, but then, no money. How sad...
I want this month to end fast! Can't wait for October. Life will be more exciting!
Firstly, I'll have my allowance.
Secondly, monday tuesday will have my class.
Thirdly, wednesday going to the dentist. Can get to change colour! Yey! I've already decided on what to change to cause its October!!! Halloween month! Black and orange lor.
Forthly, sundays will have the salsa class, provided they still have vacancies.
Fifthly, my friends who are still in school are now having their holidays! So we can go out on weekdays where its less crowded and erm.. cheaper?
So many reasons for me to hope that this month ends a.s.a.p.

Preparation To Go Out, Longer Than Staying Out
Sunday after church, went to PS for dinner and movie with Ade & Ken. Watched "The Brothers Grimm". Alright show but the storyline is a bit lame. Ohh... The part where the rabbit's fur was stripped off was just gross! But at least there is Matt Damon. Heh heh!
Monday just stayed at home to wash my bags which I used in Penang. There were some splats of pepper crab on it. Then there was this other black bag, I was lazy to handwash so I threw it in with the dark colour clothes. TMD... The white lining inside the bag disintegrated and the bits of it were stuck on my dark clothes. I think I spent bout an hour just picking it out. If I don't, the next time I wear it, people may think I got such severe case of dandruff. Wasted my day... If not I could have caught an afternoon nap.
Today wanted to go return the polo shirt to the boss. Sms her bout 2.30pm but even till 3.45pm she didn't reply. So I wasn't sure if she was in the office or not. Anyway, by the time I decided to go, it was 4.45pm. I walked out and was about to cross the road to take a train down when suddenly I decided to head back. What if I went there and people in the office knock off already? Wouldn't that be a wasted trip? Haha! So, ya... Despite applying makeup and all that which took longer than the time I spent walking to the road, I decided to head home. Shall go tomorrow instead.
My laptop is suddenly got a lot of spyware!!!
Away for 3 days only, come back to find all these spywares. Wah liao eh... I really buay tahan that bugger lah. Desktop also kena spyware cause of him. Virus also cause of him visiting that stupid site and downloading all the crappy stuff. Now let him use my laptop when I'm gone for 3 days, I gotta reformat my laptop soon.
Anyway, told him off. Banned him from going that site. Warned that if I ever see him going that site and downloading stuff after I reformat, he is going to get hell!! I'll change the password so that he will never be able to use my laptop. Then he will have to suffer by using the desktop. See how pek cek he can get when he keeps signing out of msn automatically.
So if he wants to continue to be able to chat in peace, he better stop visiting crap sites. He visits crap sites? Muahahaa! Then just chat using desktop and wonder how come nobody replies his messages lor. He can't get the best of both worlds.

Pigging Out In Penang
Day 1
Set off early in the morning at 7am towards JB's Senai Airport. We were ahead of schedule so the driver brought us to this shop which sells good wan tan mee. The noodles were those thin springy springy boiing boiing kind. The brew coffee using beans not powder form. Thick and aromatic.
After that headed over to the airport. Checked in and I got my ticket to pigging out with cheap and good food.

My shopping started at the airport. I bought myself this pair of shades.

The plane we're going to board. I don't know why they don't wanna use the aerobridge. Make passengers walk all the way to the plane. Ohh well... Budget air... Maybe operating the aerobridge very costly???

Plane taking off...

I felt like a giant overlooking a map of miniature houses and roads. My foot suddenly felt so big that it looks as though if I stepped on it, all will be crushed.

Clouds...

More clouds

And even more clouds...

I was bored on the plane mah...

1 hour flight no entertainment except seeing clouds formation.

So take more and more pictures of mother nature.

Nice!

When we're about to touch down, I spotted a... rainbow!

Rainbow!!! It just felt so nice to see the rainbow. The feeling of seeing a rainbow from ground up is totally different as seeing it at eye level. Suddenly felt damn high that I started to sing the song "Rainbow Connection" Wahaha!!!
Went to the hotel but since we're still early and room wasn't ready, we ate at the nearby coffeeshop. Ordered lor mee, char kway teow, chicken without the rice, cheng t'ng to share.
Then headed back to the hotel and went up to the room. My room was a bit disappointing though. The toilet couldn't flush and the shower curtain had this chao sng smell. Anyway, called the housekeeping and the fixed the toilet but had to bear with the smell lor.
Off we go, shopping time. Along the way, we passed by the stall which sells good lor bak and popiah. Then we walked and I bought tibits and salted fish back for grandma. In the shop, they sell a lot of those preserved food. Initially I thought it was because the shop was dirty cause there were a lot of flies flying around. So I tried to shoo them when they buzzed near me. But upon closer look, I realised they were bees. Attracted to the preserved food cause its sweet. I dare not swing my hands so much already, don't wanna get stung.
Went to this place called Gurney Plaza to shop. Although we didn't have much time to shop, I still managed to get t-shirt for myself and for bro. Bought 5 pieces of cake for 4 of us to share from Secret Recipe. Heh! Cheep cheap!
Went to Gurney Drive to eat dinner. This was what the 4 of us ordered.

Top to bottom: Cockles, chee cheong fun, century egg, yam cake, otah, rojak, cuttlefish kang kong, char kway teow.
Yet to arrive at point picture was taken was the orh lua/chien (oyster omelette), satay and muah chee. All that for 4 people. Haha!
But I must say, this place looked a bit empty cause its usually packed.

The street near the hotel comes to life everynight with these roadside stalls.

Day 2
Went to eat crayfish noodles for breakfast. Ended up eating more than that. There was this Hong Kong Dim Sum restaurant next door. So we decided to try the food there.

I found the birdie so cute that I couldn't resist not ordering it. Filling is lotus paste.

Went to one of the tourist attraction called Kek Lok Si after that.
I think these statues are supposed to be monks?

Disciples of Buddha? Possible. Cause they're all looking towards the big figure which I think is Buddha.

The pagoda from different angles.

I like the first pic best of the 3 cause of the clouds.
Some flower shots taken around the pagoda's garden.

We were allowed to ascend the pagoda. This is the first time I go up a pagoda. Those I visited in China can only be seen from below cause they were either restricted or partially destroyed. The climb up was pretty tiring. The steps were steep and narrow. But the climb was quite worth it to see this.

A scenic view of Penang.
After the descend from the pagoda, we were told that the walk up to the huge Buddha would take 25 mintues. We were quite shacked already so only willing to go up only via the inclined lift. See how steep it is???

Going up just to see this.

In this picture, I accidentally took a shot where Buddha seems to be picking nose.
Zoom in to see...

The trip up was even nicer cause the view of Penang is even better.

Took the lift down again. See how steep it is?

Went to see the turtles at the liberation pond. Though I don't think they have much liberty in the pond.
Then we headed down to the foot to eat the famous stall selling assam laksa.

The boss engrossed in making bowls and bowls of laksa that he doesn't see the world pass him by.
We came back to the hotel to rest. I fell asleep cause I was kinda tired. Woken up by auntM to eat cheese cake. Since I just woke up, she placed the cake on the table next to the bed.
Ahhh... For the first time, I ate high tea in bed.
Take a bit of cake, lie back on the pillow, close eyes and wait for the cake to melt, savouring the full flavour of the cake.
Mmm... Heavenly.
After that, we went back to the chendol stall cause auntM and dad's friend got craving for it again. I skipped it knowing what dish for dinner awaits. While waiting for them to eat their chendol, I wandered off to the roadside stall to see bags. From Rm28 per bag, we bargain till Rm30 for 3 bags. Big savings eh? Anyway, I forgot we're in not in Singapore. Dad passed me a 50 note to pay. The seller shortchanged me but I didn't realised it until I passed the change back to dad. He noticed it and asked me. But I still blur blur bout it. So he went to question the seller how come he went back on his word and the seller still can say it was agreed at Rm11. Damn cunning lah but ten is so big a difference to eleven? Obviously faking it.
Dinner was great! I got to eat the lobster covered in the ooo-la-laa melted cheese

and the peppery black pepper crab.

As we were walking back to the hotel, I noticed this stall's signage.

Zooming in closer and the squirrel can be seen in this very seductive pose with its finger welcoming customers. Looks a bit horny eh? Haha!

Whats up with the name of the stall? Isn't wimpy supposed to mean something like weak? Not very auspicious name eh? But then again, if its name after the owner, why would the stall owner's parents wanna give them a name like that?
Penang people are a patient bunch. The drivers won't honk you even if you are in their way. They just wait for you to move aside. The street where those road stall are need not be closed. Cars can still travel through.

Stall patrons can just stand at the stall and order their food. If they're in the way, the driver will slow down and wait for them to move when they realised it. If they are oblivious to the surroundings then they just have to wait till the hawker asks them to shift aside.
Day 3
Woke up early in the morning to go da bao the crayfish noodles back for Bros. Check out the ingredients!

Though the size of the prawns is quite pathetic, but hey, its crayfish noodles not prawn noodles. So to even see prawns is quite good. Plus there is are 2 extra meatballs and lean slices of meat. So worth buying!
Ate breakfast at dim sum restaurant again before heading back to hotel to pack and check out.
Plane taking off...

I like the lines in this picture. Can make black and white.

Should be interesting.
Journey back also 1 hour...

So, cloud pictures to entertain myself again.

Can actually feel the plane going up and down to avoid clouds.

But when those clouds which are too big and can't be avoided,

got slight turbulance.

Felt like an unthrilling roller coaster ride.

Coincidentally, we took back the same plane, same seats.

Interesting fact.

How I know? Cause there was this dead spider trapped in the window next to my seat and the window in front of it has the same scratches.

Plane kept on turning left right, left right.
The turn was pretty sharp. 30 degrees each time? See the plane tilted?

Anyway, using creativity, what does this cloud's shape look like?

To me, it looks like a mouse cupping its mouth and shouting.

Landed and back in JB airport. I decided to buy since it can't be found in SG
I bought 12 pieces. Check out the variety.

The chartered vehicle sent us back home. Causeway was a bit jammed. But anyway, Home Sweet Home!
