Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. The day where you see loads of flowers, soft toys and other stuff being cradled in people's arms.

I didn't spend Vday alone.
Even though I had to work afternoon and do closing.
But that didn't really matter cause I know I'll have a nice meal after work.
Hee hee... =)


Viv arranged for me & Jav to go for supper. Seafood supper... Her treat!
We went to have seafood at this popular place in Geylang.
Kinda lost our way cause we weren't that sure of the location.

Slowly but surely, we found our way! Yayyy!!!
Ordered LOADS of food.

We had...
Bee hoon, vege, bamboo clams, cereal prawns, chilli crab!!!
May seem just like a few dishes only. But for 3 people, I think its quite a lot leh!

The food was alright only lah. Maybe the standard I was expecting was too high. I wasn't exactly satisfied with the food.
The bee hoon was so-so only.
Bamboo clams, I can't really compare cause I've never eaten it before but Jav said he'll bring us to another place next time for better ones.
Cereal prawns were ok but I think the one I get in JB is crispier and they're more generous with the cereal.
The chilli crab looks damn nice but the taste didn't do justice to the dish.
But.. But!! The sight of the vege was such a turn off, I didn't even eat one bit. The stems were so thick. If only they were longer, I would probably use it to poke the eyes of those ah pehs who were sitting/standing around when we were making our way to the place.


CH just came to talk cock and watch us eat, then share cab home with me. Hahaha...
