Over Hyped

Family dinner at Lau Pa Sat.

Bro is back from China.

Seriously, that place is over priced, over hyped but food below standard. Didn't like the way they touted for business. Its irritating.
I sure as hell know the cereal sotong sucked big time. Chilli crab don't tastes nice, very much like paste. If I wanted to eat paste, I would rather go ICB and order fried wan ton and get the crab sauce which tastes much closer to the actual chilli crab dish. The sambal stingray wasn't that sambalicious enough.
The rest of food was like so so only. There wasn't any particular item which made me go 'WOW!'.
To pay so much for this type of food standard, in a non aircon location, roadside to be exact, I'd rather go to a restaurant to dine.
