Pek Cek Day

Super sleepy now!

Bloody hell... The invention of a doorbell is pretty useless leh. Cause I can stay home for half a day, waiting for my modem to be delivered and when it was delivered, the person apparently didn't press the doorbell and assumed no one was home after knocking.

So stupid lah... The door (under HDB's regulation, has been changed to those kinds which are sort called fireproof) which are obviously thick. When you knock, either the knocking will not be as loud or you will have sore knuckles.

Then I thought that the ISP would be sending their own dispatch person to deliver the modem. So I called them to check on delivery status since it was after the selected time. Then after that they helped me call Singpost and status came back saying they left a note on the door.

Really lor.. It feels so dumb to be asking them that question. Like my door is very far away and I'm too lazy to go check. But seriously, how would I know if my door is closed and there wasn't any sound.

They offered to resend the modem. But then I think of it, if they were to resend tomorrow, it might just having history repeat itself again. So I opted to self collect. Bah!

Anyway, I tried to retrieve data from my old com. Dad's been wanting to get it out of the house since its just taking up space. But the darn thing couldn't start up. Couldn't detect this, this fail, blah blah.

I even opened up the stupid CPU to see if it could be a loose wire. TMD!!! Still cannot work. Was super pek cek that I just wanted to smash the damn thing.
Actually it would be quite fun won't it?
Its so punk rock lor.. Where they just smash stuff after using them. Coolness to the m-a-x!

Ok... Will do that soon. Since I can't retrieve my data, must make sure its properly destroyed so that if any geeks pick up the pieces, they won't be able to access it.

Either my modem, my internet network or my msn itself sucks big time. My messages are either not sent or I don't receive them. Its frustrating. Hate it hate it hate it!

Ahhh... I'm really sleepy. Ok.. I'm gonna change and nap a while before I head up to godma's place for a nice home-cooked meal.

Pool

Worked in same mall as Ch today. After work, we wanted to go for bak chor mee.
But earlier at work, I kinda sneak out to buy drink cause I was feeling damn happy that I hit target (daily one only lah.. month's target I'm way way down). Sue also had craving for flavored drink.
Anyway, by the time I finished my drink and we walked to Bugis, food didn't seem tempting already.
So we agreed to skip supper and take the bus back.

On the bus...
Me: Ehh... Want to play pool?
Ch: Now then say.. Just now we could have gone to play in Bugis lor...
Me: Aiyahh... Just feel like it now mah.
Ch: I don't like Plaza's one lah.
Me: K... Don't go lor.
Ch: Next time lah...

Suddenly, in the middle of topic...
Me: Ehhh... Play pool leh...
Ch: Ahh k lah k lah... Go plaza lah.
Me: Yayye...

And so we went... I think pool very interesting leh. I'm getting quite addicted to it. Hahahaaa...
There's more to just shooting the balls into the holes. Must learn to plan for the next shot also. But that is of course, after you learn how to aim and shoot lah... This part alone is already quite tricky. There's lots of ways to hold the cue, which part of the ball to aim, which part of the cue ball to hit. How much strength to use.
I'm learning. I'm learning! Slowly but surely.

Mood Swings

This has been on my mind for some time already... Has been bugging me for a bit.

Recently, I'm back to something.
But its not like the last time leh. This time seems to affect me a quite a bit more.

I've been drinking like close to 3 ltr of water each day. Mouth very dry lor... Just keep drinking and visiting the toilet. Hahaha... My colleagues think I'm weird.

Been having lots of mood swings. Feeling grouchy, moody, tired, whatever shitty feeling. The last time was still quite controllable. But like I said, this round seems to affect me more. Sometimes I just lose it, so the person who happens to piss me off a little, will get it back real bad.

One incident, this friend was going through a tough time. At first, I was like ok and consoling blah blah... But days later, friend was still brooding over it and still didn't have the mood for anything. The two of us and another friend had sort of planned some activity for that day already.
So the night before the activity, tried to arrange with my friend but all I got was "I don't know" answers to almost everything. Got me a little pissed, but never mind, I endured cause I told myself friend was going through rough time.
The day itself, kept on calling and sms to find out details. But friend seemed to have MIA, then finally called back and still gave me the "I don't know" answers.
Ended the call and called the other friend who was asking what was the plans. So that friend indirectly also got a bit of attitude from me. =X
Was like saying stuff like to just don't go lah, since friend everything don't know and can't be bothered.
Then other friend went to call friend and friend called me after that. Friend suddenly seemed to have snapped out of 'lost world' and seemed more enthu about the activity. But then I was already pissed. So I was scolding and scolding and even more scolding during the conversation.
Ok.. I must admit, it felt damn good to let it out lah...
But after that, I felt damn bad. Very guilty lor.
Imagine you are experiencing some bad times and you still get scolded for feeling rotten. Makes you feel worst right?
Shitt... I know I was in the wrong lah. Shouldn't have done that.

What would you do if you were that friend?
Would you just let me rant it out and try to calm me down?

Prata For You?

Wahh... Yet another 2 hours to kill...

Supper has been getting interesting these couple of days leh...

Last night, while Sam accompanied Aus to his place to get the car, I took a train down to meet them at a Eunos station.

Anyway, they literally drove from one end to the other end of the island. Lots of detouring.

Decided we would head to Changi Village for Nasi Lemak. But Jav called and he didn't want to go there cause hard to go back after that.

So after a lot of "where are you", "where will be more convenient to spot you" blah blah blah, we managed to pick him up.
But not before wasting a wee bit of petrol. Haha...

Since we were at AMK. But didn't know what was nice over there for supper; we decided to head over to Jalan Kayu for prata.
Prata was filling... They overestimate themselves; ordered 3 each. Hahaha... In the end, can't finish everything. Wastful people...

Then we were searching for Seletar Airport. Said its supposed to be around Yio Chu Kang area.

So I thought it was the one which I would pass when I had driving.
But apparently it wasn't. So we went off.
Then I thought it was the one near Eunos. We cruised there and realized that that was actually Paya Lebar Airport.

Bahh... Anyway, pretty tired already, so we decided to call it a day.
Aus dropped me off first. Then he sent Jav back via expressway. They said they saw the Seletar Airport from there.
Haiyo! I didn't get to see it. Never mind, next time.

Someone brought dried mango from Thailand... Its damn nice lah! I'm so hooked lor.. Hahaha...
Plus its so boring here... My mind strays a lot and I keep thinking of the yellow beauty.

Supper @ Geylang

Blogging for saturday...

Back at Vivo again... I have like 2 hours to countdown to. Nah hee ha...

Last night's supper was good! Good partly cause we went further than our usual nearby places.
Lifang went to take her hubby's car then came back to pick me & Ch.

Decided to go further... But then, how far?
Steamboat buffet at Bugis?
Go see whats at Chinatown?
Frog porridge at Geylang.

All seemed tempting, but traffic was a big turn off.

Anyway, we decided to go Geylang.

There are actually lots of stalls selling Kermit's meat. But they said that's one of the nicer ones, also more ex.
There weren't a lot of 'people' to see. Perhaps that time was the peak period where most of them would be 'engaged' already.
Hahaha...

We also ordered hot plate deer meat and oyster omelette.
The deer meat was a little spicy. Quite nice I must say!
I wish the omelette was more crispy though. But the chili sauce made up for it lah.
The porridge was good too! Very thick. Then when the sauce from the frog with spring onion sauce was added generously, it tasted heavenly...

Maybe I was easily satisfied cause I was quite moody earlier on. Heh...
So anything nice would be magnified.

Then after all the food, we still went for beancurd. The you tiao from the shop looks really good lah! Almost every table seems to have at least one.
Too bad, I was already quite full and neither of them wanted, so can't share.
Skip it lor... =(

Here is so damn boring! The phone is also so quiet. Hahaa.. Nobody calls to enquire stuff.
Ooo... Here comes the cleaner! Must throw some food stuff away. Smells pretty off already. Someone bought it and left it in the cupboard since yesterday wor!

Bahhh... After working retail, I think my bio clock is kinda screwed up.
Going for supper very often after work, which would be considered as my dinner lah. Cause my lunch is what others would call dinner.

Ohh ya... The other day when I was at RC. We were too free and everyone was standing around chit chatting.
From bags, shopping, and erm... other things lah.
There's a whole new meaning to LV.
I'm like the only one who hasn't LV-ed. Hahaha...
Is it that surprising?
Is it a must?
Like a social stigma in the industry if you haven't LV-ed.
But then again.. Like I care like that.

Wheee... Later going for supper again. Supposed to meet for Swensens. But plans changed cause I'll only knock off at 10pm. Aus & Sam ending half hour earlier. They said they'll go back to get car first, then pick me up and we'll go find place to makan.
Cool... Supper away from town stretch again...

Patrick's Bday Chalet

Back from Patrick's Bday Party...

The chili for the bee hoon was damn power! I likeeeee...

At first it was only grouping amongst ourselves and just gossiping. Got a little bored of it and wanted to go check if there was anything nice at the arcade or maybe go bowling. They were closing. Darnn!
Anyway it started to rain lah.. So we were sort of stuck at the lobby area for some time.

Then we went back to the chalet and the drinking began!
Patrick's concoction of vodka is deadly lor...
Made sure everyone drank some more!
1st round was on the rocks.
2nd, 3rd, 4th was with Sprite. The Sprite was the only bottle left, it was like damn damn precious that the amount added in was probably less than half each time.

Did I mention that a lot of us didn't know we had to drink so much? So while eating, we've already downed some beer? So now vodka... Bad bad mix...

Then some people had to sabo me lah...
Announced to everyone that I'm a good drinker who can hold alcohol well blah blah blah...
Shit!
Pat made sure I never missed a round of weird concoction.

Sprite ran out... Used lemon tea syrup. At least when the bday boy wasn't looking, they quickly added a lot of ice and syrup to the drink.

Then vodka ran out...
I siam the drinking area after I silently slipped to the "ban luck" area and quietly sit behind Jav & Wy to see them play.
Wine was next.
Again I was sabo and Pat don't want to let me off... So came over and dragged me back to drink.
Ohh bloody hell...
Drank 2 cups.

After drinking so much weird concoctions, beer and wine, I still wasn't drunk. Not even high... My head wasn't even heavy unlike the other day at St James. Still drank as fast, in fact, faster cause we didn't even play anything. It was just drinking round after round.
But I was already trying to keep as quiet as possible so that I won't be made to drink anymore. Must keep low profile lor... Later anyhow say I never drink enough and must drink more to give face.

A lot of colleagues cannot take it already... So quickly said that they need to leave cause next day most have to work.

Supposed to hitch a ride out to catch a cab only. But then, Jas's bf took a wrong turn and the most convenient place to let us off would be at Parkway. Ha.. That's like traveling so far off lah.

Some coincidences when I had my family gathering.
1. It was at the same place, and very same unit.
The units were not really filled at all. A few more nearer to entrance which wasn't occupied.
But both times, it had to be at unit 4!
Hmmmm...

2. Both times, it started to drizzle only when I was walking to the reception. Once I'm there... it pours damn heavily that I'm stuck there for some time.
Righttt...

3. Both times after leaving the place and heading to the road home, the drivers miss the turn and end up detouring somewhere else.

Freaky coincidence? I don't know... Perhaps ba. Or maybe I'm just thinking too much.
Ohh well...

Overnight Mahjong

Just came back from overnight mahjong session.

Same opponents, colleague, friend, and colleague's brother.
We didn't play with money cause I'm just a noob and I don't wish to waste money if I know they are so pro. Hahaha...

Anyway, by the time we started playing after dinner cum supper and all, it was already midnight. I was on a winning streak and they were not able to "shift wind". They were also damn dulan cause their cards all form till so big waiting for cards to kill everyone and then I just game with 1 or 2 tais.

Haiyo... All the words they use, what ping hu, ban se, or even how they count and all that. I really have no idea. Then have to keep on asking them to explain to me. Right... I did have some difficulties even understanding the name of the each tiles sets. Worst was the wind direction, I kept confusing myself with word and the character. Like I would think nan is the bei's character, vice versa.

We literally played overnight...
Started after midnight, ended only bout 5.30am.
Didn't really wanna sleep yet, so chatted with friend till bout 7am while colleague went to sleep. We were feeling hungry lor... So I went to disturb people from their sleep but I was clearly ignored after that.

11am onwards till 1pm, I kept on waking up every one hour and would go to their room to see if they are up. Obviously not lah... Then I'll go back and sleep till I couldn't sleep anymore.

Went for lunch which was already prepared by colleague's mother. Then rested for a while before we started our round 2 at bout 3-ish. Played till bout 6 plus then we left.

Actually I want to go and take a nap before I meet Grace, Hj, Xl & Yl for supper. But plans change cause I'm meeting the friend to satisfy chicken chop craving.

Right... Just nice timing. I'm going off for my dinner/supper.

Mega Entry

BORED! BORED! BORED!!!

Ahhhh... Save me pleaseeeeee...

Another 2 hours to closing and I"m all alone. Wanted to buy magazine to read, but I forgot.

Now all that's left to accompany me is a bar of Hershey's Cookies & Cream Chocolate which Lyna bought just now cause she was too bored and feeling hungry. Hahaha...

Hmm... Ohh that reminds me, I was too bored so I actually drew a portrait using PAINT.

Its kinda amaturish though... But what to do? I'm only able to draw using whatever pathetic tools PAINT offers.

Last night... Went St James' with Gin + Kurt & Ch. Js was supposed to go, but due to unforseen circumstances, she didn't go ahead with us.

I lost pretty badly at the game of 5-10. But what to do? I was playing solo while the 2 of them were playing tag team. Forfeit was to drink beer.
The mug was emptied pretty quick.

Something damn wrong lah. Normally I can drink 1 pint of Hoegaarden and I'm still super sober.
Eg., just last night went ICB, drank 1 pint and still kope some of Ch's Stella, yet I was still able to walk straight and was very normal.

Perhaps working, then go drinking, then next morning go work and after that go drinking again just equates to lack of sleep and quite tired .

So don't need to say also know lah...
Lack of sleep + boredom from work + alcohol being consumed faster than you can recite your name 100 times = HIGH!!

Won't say that I was drunk cause I was still aware of what was going on around me.
No, I didn't puke.
Just that my head felt damn damn heavy!

I just wanted to lie down and sleep...
But Ch didn't let me. Kept on saying I shouldn't lie down blah blah blah...

Couldn't dance much due to space constrains unless you would like to term our movements as wriggling around?
People kept wanting to cut through and it was rather irritating.

Suggested to go for prata!
Getting out of there for some fresh air was really helpful. I felt so much better and my head wasn't feeling that heavy anymore.

Hmm... Yup yup, so we've explored most of the rooms in St James'. Just left a few more lah...

Perhaps next time...

Cabbed home after that and went to sleep...
For only bout 2 hours!
Woke up superb early cause I had to attend mass.

Can't go for a later time slot cause I'm schedule to work at noon.
Some irritating reason that I've never worked morning shift in Vivo before so I won't know what to do blah blah blahh...
Which is of course, total bullshit lah...
Come on lor... Which outlet I was't given an am shift not long after I start at the outlet without anyone to guide me? All I got was instructions the day before on what are the things to do and where to find the cleaning stuff.

Haiyah... Whatever lah... I hate 'it'. Chao tweety...
Anyway, I'm damn tired now lah... 2 hours of sleep, and today I have to do OT for 2 hours...

Conz wanted to treat me to a meal for my birthday. I know, I know, my bday was like way back in december lah...

Just that we're too busy or the time wasn't really right, So we've been postponing and postponing till now!
She asked whether I wanted to go Pasta Cafe or Royal Copenhagen.
Pasta Cafe was the safer option lah... She didn't want to ruin the treat should the food turn out not up to standard. Hahaha...

But then Royal Copenhagen is known for using classy cutlery and china ware. Seems quite atas.
Obviously I chose that lah... Duhhh...
Hahahaa...

To totally get into the tai tai mood, we even went for the high tea.

Overall, the food was alright... but won't say the best lah...

It was raining super heavily that my legs all wet, shoes all soaked. I went to buy 2 pairs of slippers.
1st pair normal price, 2nd pair at 10bucks... Cannot resist one you know...

Instead of going to eat immediately, we went to play pool at Bugis.
I suck at pool lor! My aiming is like shit. I break the balls like I've not eaten in a year and lack energy.
The good thing bout playing with Ch is that winning isn't everything. So I don't really get trashed, then not so demoralizing... Hahaha...
Its a learning and training process.

After that went to eat dinner/supper with Jav. That idiot damn jian... Always make 2 of us go wherever he is to meet him. Then after meeting, was quite late already. I wanted to have prata! But he doesn't want to walk there..

On wednesday, went to watch 251 at the Esplanade. Its a local production. Yogs managed to get extra tix for me.. But she didn't go in the end. =(
Went with Ch.
Anyway, its my first time I'm actually attending a play lor! Feeling a bit sua ku. Hahaha...
Very interesting play. Its about the life of Anabelle Chong, the local porn star. They actually gave out envelopes as door gifts and the content was a condom... Hahaha...

Just nice, I've also finished my Hershey's.

Rapture's Gig

Had my off day yesterday, so I went up to Godma's place to help her take some pictures. Play with Maxie then went for dinner at Crystal Jade.

2 of us, ordered quite a lot of stuff I must say! Really very full after that lor.

Supposed to meet Ch bout 8pm but was still halfway through dinner only. So had to delay... Hahaha...

Anyway, went to collect my thumb drive at work place, cause silly me forgot to bring it home.

Walk to MSQ to waste time cause we didn't want to go Zouk so early.

While I was buying water, he asked if I brought my IC. Punk-ed him when I said I didn't bring cause I knew he so badly wanted to go Zouk. The Rapture were having a live performance and he was so looking forward to watch it. Hahahaa!!!
Left him in a dilemma whether to skip the gig and accompany me elsewhere, or go in just for the gig and leave me outside for that one hour then quickly come out after that, or try to find ways to go in where they won't check id.

He was about to call some of his friends to probably let me get in somehow lah. But I didn't want the prank to go too far and trouble so many people, so I suggested we just go there and try. If really can't go in, I'll just sit at the bar outside alone for that hour and wait.

But when we went there, they actually didn't check cause we went in via different entrance. Wasn't so strict. He was damn happy. But I wasn't cause I couldn't continue my prank. Damn...
But never mind, at least I made him kan cheong for almost an hour. Heh heh...
I'm sadistic.

Soup Restaurant

Good Friday... Thought of being a good girl and attend church. Even planned for my shift to be morning so that I can go in the evening...

In the end leh, found out that the latest one was 5.30pm. Even me working a.m. shift also will be at least 10 minutes late even if I manage to teleport over.

There goes my good intentions to attend church.

On the way home, decided to call Vid to see whats he up to. Shopping with Von at Vivo! So they came over to PS and window shopped a bit before we went for our feast at Soup Restaurant. The meal was rather satisfying. We had soup, the famous chicken, toufu, prawn salad, vege. My my, thats quite a lot of items.
But then, we were seated at the end of the restaurant, which I don't know but perhaps it as a blindspot? We kept being ignored by the waitresses. Grr... We had to call quite a few times then can.
Then we continued to shop around before heading for dessert.
Hahahaa...
We are quite horrid.. I know!

Me Went Shopping Again..

Office meeting at 8.30am, was practically in a crazy mood lah... I was like laughing and yakking quite a lot more than normal. I think my plugs weren't connected back properly during the 4 hours when my brain underwent maintenance.

I'm surprised I can last till now actually.

Cause I started work early, I was able to go off early today. Plus! Counter had so many headcount, we still can go for break in pairs.

Anyway, after work, me & Jav wanted to catch a movie. But we detoured to L'Occitane at the atrium area where they were having an event. Hmm... We ended up buying bout 100 plus each. Then that bitch blamed me for enticing him to spend more than 100 when we're out shopping.

On the way to Cine to buy tickets, we stopped by those handphone mask thingy. He decided to do for his hp, I decided to do for my mp3.

After getting the tickets and while waiting for our devices to have some clothes, we went to play arcade.
Oooo... Has been a while since I last played arcade games.
To entertain ourselves, we played shooting games, racing games and stuff.

Watched The Reaping... Its not really gruesome-scary, but its more like the weird-eerie kind. Overall, it was a little bit confusing with all those flashbacks and stuff.

Hmm... Cine's nacho cheese isn't very nice either. Very plastic looking, don't taste that nice lor.

There's a Burger King outlet which totally sucks la! Imagine the queue in front of you only has 3 people. But it takes them more than 12 minutes to come to my turn. Irritated...

Having my off day and I've decided to spend the day at my godma's house.

Have to take some time off to visit my granny! Haven't seen her for a while.

Here I am now at her PC, trying to blog with Maxie is on my lap.
Silly doggie keeps pawing my hand down to my lap and happily steps there for extra balance.
I'm having some difficulity blogging while chatting.

Grace wants to learn diving. I also want! But I don't know how to swim...
My work schedule isn't flexible enough for me to take up courses.
Also need time to save up for money.
Idea KIV-ed for the time being.

Planning for Js's bday celebration too! Dinner at where? Then after that do what? Still waiting for the bday girl to call the shots.

Bahhh... Tickets for the play is sold out already. Don't need to watch already. Hurr hurr... We dragged a bit too long.

Supper

Ha! For the past 3 days, been out after work with my foodie kaki.

On saturday, my kaki thought something was absolutely wrong with me when I just hanged around CHIJMES to watch soccer on the big screen while waiting.
But then I was there cause Vid was there with his friends and I wanted to kill time. Plus I needed somewhere which I would not be able to shop. If not sure spend money.

After meeting my kaki, we went for sinful prata at Bugis. Well... I atoned for the sinful prata by walking there.


Sunday was supper at Esplanade's Gluttons Bay. Kaki tried to act demure and not want to eat. In the end leh, after much luring and me nagging, caved in to temptation and ate half my plate of satay and carrot cake.

Just had dinner with kaki over at Marina Square's food court. The food was slightly below average.
BUT, for that price of that meal, I get to have such a superb view overlooking the Esplanade and the CBD buildings, I can't complain much.


I just realised! All 3 days, CHIJMES and walk the quiet streets to Bugis; Esplanade; dinner with view overlooking Esplanade.
All very the lomantic hor???

Cheapo To The Max

Eeeee... Yesterday there was this super cheapo customer. Came to try to learn how to apply makeup! Even after we explained that have to buy products to get the free makeover, she carried on acting as if she was interested and stuff. Then in the end leh... Say she's just a student and no money to even buy at least one item. Totally thick skin can! AND!!!! She even got the cheek to ask me where to find cheaper products! After I tried on the entire full face makeup on her lor! Blardy hell... Waste my time can... OHHH... AND AND AND!!! She still asked for my name card. Saw my name and still asked if we can be friends? Whether she can come back and look for me. Kanasai leh... So what if you're overseas exchange student? Its like the wrong place, wrong method to look for friends lor. Her main objectives of getting me as a friend is probably to learn more makeup, will have a wider circle of friends apart from those project group mates she have from school.

Perhaps wrong person lor... I'm super practical and realistic.

KANASAI.... I don't wish to be made use of lor. Want to make use of me can, as long as there is something from you which I can make use of also lor. That's only fair mah... An exchange.

Other than that, I think I've enough friends (good friends to be exact, people I truly am concerned about) to spend time with lor. In fact, I already don't have enough time to meet up with all my good friends. Ask me to keep in contact with this kind of people to make use of me? Madness! Think I very free ar?

Floating Is Good

My 3 days stint working at ISC has ended for the moment.

Gosh... All of them really think I'm really sad floating outlets. HAHAHAA!!!

They keep seeing me stone. But really lahh... That outlet has nice view leh. Further more, it was raining, so looking out of the big glass door and seeing the rain pouring down, its rather therapeutic.

Plus! PLUS!!! I can stand there for a good five minutes till I get bored and Mas doesn't even ask me to do things. In fact, I'd get restless and end up looking for things to do on my own.

I'm not supposed to do cashiering lah... But Kel keep showing me how to do. Then I made a mistake. A bit blur when I have to do so many things, not used to it. I tend to forget stuff... Haha!

I finally found a simple and cheap handphone strap. The two cruel fellas were happy I got a strap cause they thought I would replace my ugly ducky with it. BUT! They are so wrong!!! I'm gonna find ways to hand both the strap and the ducky. Heee!

Supper at LJS with the two cruel fellas, the other twin and his friends. They are super bitchy! Cannot stand them... Hahaha... Anything also can just find a problem and pick on it.


Ohhh the other day I did get the donuts. Didn't have to queue for it. Nanana...
So as I was enjoying my donuts, this two other girls from other brands saw me eating and were like "eeeyerrr... how come she got donuts to eat one?!"
Anyway, its quite nice wor. Really not oily and heavy as other brands/shops' donuts.
But ask me to queue 2 hours for it, I think just forget it la... I'm not so crazy at the moment. Won't do such things. Hahaa...

Fun At Work

I don't even know whether I worked today or not. Well, physically I was there at work. But we were all playing around or chit chatting lor. It didn't even seemed like we were working that much.
Was absolutely fun towards the end cause I sparked off the smoky eye mad craze. So the seniors were trying to do smoky eye and another will like correct the look add here add there la. I ended up looking like a vampire, a bit like those in the Chinese movie. Super black eyeshadow, very pink cheeks, pale lips. Hahaha... Then I was hopping around from colleague to colleague. Lame lah... But lame things are the funny things.

Its nice to know that I'm welcomed at other counters when people there actually ask me to request to be transferred there. But at the moment, I'm pretty comfortable with floating around. So I doubt I'll ask for the transfer.

Hear stuff bout this bunch of colleagues I was to work with today. But of course, I'm not that kind of person whose impression of people are formed based on the things I hear. I'll interact with them normally and I'll understand their personality from there.
Glad I did.
They aren't like what they have been described as. Which makes me think that perhaps there are only two explanations to this.
First, I haven't worked with them long enough to see true colors?
Second, its like the saying, it takes two hands to clap. So if one person isn't that nice, why should they expect the other person to treat them back nicely? Its just like karma. You get back what you give.
If you're nice to a person and the person isn't nice back, then you know that person is either not worth your time and effort, or they are simply rotten by nature.

Cleaning Spell

Heh... I just spent my off day staying home. Whole day at home wor!

Put my bedsheets to wash. Then in front of the com, surf net, chat and all that stuff.

Lunch at 3pm was instant mee. Those packet kind where you have to boil it and there are no other ingredients besides the seasoning.
So plain, yet it still tasted good.
Nahh.. Not gonna say its due to my cooking lah.
Just that I'm so used to eating outside food. Oily and all that. This was something different for a change. My taste buds welcomed the change openly.

Back to com to chat and stuff...

Couldn't resist my fresh bedsheets so I went back to nap. Hahaha...
Dad came in and talked to me, he thought I was just faking sleep cause he saw my eyes open. But I don't recall even listening to what he said. Perhaps I was sleep listening. Hahaa...

Dinner was another simple meal. Quack rice.

Then I officially started my cleaning spree. Whooo... Just one shelf in my cupboard, I threw out about 3 NTUC-kinda bags filled with rubbish. To create more space for new stuff *hee hee* to come, I had to be very stringent on what to keep.
Bye bye to any skincare that has been with me for more than 3 years.
Perhaps now that I'm working in this line, I feel the need for fresh stuff. I don't wish to use old stuff anymore. Hahahaha... Plus I feel its not justifiable for my skin to go through any trouble should an allergy occur.

I still have so many shelves to clear!

Cost less than 80bucks for 5 people. I must say, its cheaper than the usual fish places like Fish & Co or Manhatten Fish Market.

The only setback, its so far away from my place. I don't think they have other branches.

The birthday cake followed. Joe & Yogs bought something different from the usual cakes normally expected at birthday parties. Not the chocolate, or creamy kind. They bought pandan kaya cake. The pandan layer was very light. The kaya layer was like harden jello. Quite yummy.

On the way back, I saw a fire fly!! Ooo... So pretty lah. The lime green colour. Its so nice, I couldn't bear to chase it away. Just let it fly around me.

Damn army boys leh... They totally spoil the high feeling after seeing a fire fly.

Anyway, it rained super heavily, me and dad were sort of stranded there for a little while. We decided to borrow umbrella since it seems like the rain was never gonna stop. Then after getting out of there, he sort of took a wrong turn, and we had to detour.

I didn't take any pictures, cause Samantha had to tell me her boyfriend's photo taking experience over at that particular chalet just few hours before I go to the chalet.
What happened was when they took a group photo, behind them was like an empty unit. So after they took the pic and was circulating it around their friends, they happen to zoom in the pic and then... ... ...

Sick of having supper around Orchard. Bloody overprice, yet not to my liking.

Lifang and I were both hungry. We agreed on Newton FC for supper.
I suggested we take a train. She said take bus.
In the end, we decided to walk there. Wahahaa.. Must work out a bit before going to eat sinful stuff.

Ch was hesitant to go there for supper. I hung up the call. Couldn't hear much cause the network kinda sucked. But I think, he thought that perhaps I was pissed and throwing princess tantrum. So he agreed to come. Haha...
Ehh... But then again, I don't think so lah...

Wahhh.. We had quite a lot of food to eat wor. Got sambal stingray, carrot cake, chicken wings and rojak. Yum yum!

This sucks la... I'm now a "third party" in someone's relationship. The girlfriend wanted a breakup based on that reason cause the boyfriend rather meet up with me (but she wasn't aware that we were meeting others as well). My goodness lah!

The stupid thing? Me and the guy don't even like each other. We're just friends, going out to meet other friends, just that I met him first while the others were still at work, so my name was used to say that he is meeting who. So, the insecure and paranoid girlfriend went berserk.

Shop Shop Shop

Silly me... I set my alarm to ring and I woke up to prepare to go to work. After my shower and all that, I'm all wide awake. Then I realized, I set my alarm an hour earlier than required. Darnnn... Could have an hour of extra sleep wor! So here I am now, blogging while waiting for time to pass.

Ohh oHHH!!!! I was super high last night. Yeh... Only last night. Day time at work was just a bore. Was super moody. Hahaa...

After lunch with Angela, we went for a shopping quickie. Went to Aldo and was trying the sandals. The one on sale didn't have my size. Darnn... Else damn cheap lor. 30 bucks only. Then I aimed another pair which doesn't have sale. It looks nice and is quite comfy. But thats 99 bucks wor! Think I'll only buy it if I can get "special price" for it. Hee hee...

Hmm... That's what I'm aiming. What I bought... was a bag. My most expensive bag by far. Yeh by far la, its more than 150 bucks. But I'm loving it.
Didn't buy it for the brand. I don't really go for those branded bags cause its too common. Hahaha.. I just like the design and the colour combination.

Few days back, while waiting for Ch to knock off, I was walking around literally window shopping since shops were closing/closed already. Spotted another bag which looks quite nice lah. So I thought to myself, must go down one day to see it. But when I was actually there, before leaving the shop, I spotted the one which I ended up getting.

I actually got 4 people to check that bag out and they approved of it la.. Hahaa...
First, went to see it with Sue few days ago. Before leaving the shop, I spotted the one I bought at a lower shelf. So she said that was nicer.
Second, Jav came down after Sue left. Then we went to check it out again.
Third was Angela after lunch yesterday.
Forth was Ch who came down to CP to see if the person he knows still works there or not. Can get staff price.
But too bad, the person no longer working there. So I paid full lor.
Never mind, at least we went back to Aldo to try size and decide on colour on the one I'm aiming.

Then we got so much to bitch that after CJ closed, we went to stand outside and just carried on. Before going to Starbucks to get myself more bitching therapy and be a bitching therapist.

Acting Princess

I have this huge craving to try the donuts sold at the Raffles' City Basement. But since it opened, the queue has always been uber long that its just such a turn off to queue to try. Thinking it would be like some bubble tea craze, the queue will die down after some time.

So for the past few days, I've walked there to check the queue status and its still damn freaking long!
Until few days back, I saw it was damn short! So I thought at most wait 10mins lor. I joined the queue. Then moments later, someone came to tell me that the queue actually started from behind.

I found a place which sells superbly nice curry puffs. Bought some for those working pm shift that day. All sneaking a bite during the quiet hours before store closes. All said its nice too, a bit pricey though. But never mind, good stuff is worth the price.

Meeting some people almost everyday and yet we still have so much to talk about. Conversations are so transparent and topics have no barrier, its interesting. But we do have our tired days where we'll just stone in silence while the rest talk, or all just stone together.

I've been throwing some spoilt brat tantrums and having a bit of mood swings recently. But it takes a spoilt brat to put up with another spoilt brat.
Erm... Weird logic right?
Hahaa... Never mind.

Ohh... On another note, I almost fell asleep standing while talking to a customer! Was seriously too tired lah. I woke up at 5am. Had to do the invigilating thingy followed up by work for the pm shift. I'm killin myself lor. Never mind, its only once in while.

Off today. Went to redo my resume at Godma's place before we went to some ulu place in east coast for Peranakan food. Food was ok, but still rather pricey. I'd rather go up Malacca for cheaper, better tasting Peranakan cuisine though.

I wanna go Malacca!!! If only I've got more off days, I wouldn't mind going. But this month is so impossible. With only 4 off days, its pathetic and super precious. Too many things to do, too little time.
An ideal trip would be having chicken rice balls for lunch, chendol to cool off in the afternoon heat and peranakan food for dinner.

Even though Malacca is rich with history, I've visited the sites and all those places, which leaves me nothing else to sight see except the shopping malls.

Work Is Boring

Ha... Instead of shuttling between 2 counters this month, it has been increased to 3.

Then I don't have to do a lot of stuff. I just have to pass on my responsibilities to the newbies. Right... I can't be bothered lah. Less stuff for me to bother about also. Don't have to think what I have to settle. Actually I don't even have to do such stuff. Its the job of a senior. People less than one year don't really have to do so much leh. So I do so much for what? Really, I don't know. Its not appreciated anyway.

So yeh... I just have to go to work, leave work. Hehe... Rather carefree I guess.

A lot has been happening lah. Sometimes it gets me all moody and stuff, I would be super tempted to just submit a resignation letter there and then.
Yeh, even before I find the next job.
But rationality sets in and I'll just close one eye and not bother until the next moody cycle surfaces.

Perhaps I just need a break. A holiday! What type leh? Shopping? Or relaxing?
Still thinking and deciding. Hee...

So sickening... Sales is so superb that I only managed to sell 83 bucks worth of items.

Some bitch went to complain that I lied to her. Now I've got a complaint letter. Didn't listen properly then turn the story around and make her seem like the poor girl whom I deprived her of a makeover which normally cost 80 bucks. She demands it to be done free. So just to make sure she gets her free makeover, she launches a complain, acting victim.
Nabei... This kind of cheapo still exists?

Whatever lah... Complain lah.. Hope it rains on the day she does her makeover, so she gets all drenched. Then it will ruin her makeup and hair. Then when she gets to the party, the floor is slippery, her cheap shoes has no friction, she slips and falls flat on her ass. Soaking through her undies which she bought from a pasar malam at 3 for $10 and leaves ugly stain (which she will desperately try to salvage after the dinner cause being cheapo, she can't bear to throw it away). She attempts to get up but cannot. So a cute guy comes to help her up. But she doesn't realize that he is stepping on her gown and she walks away and ends up tripping again. After all the embarrassment, she finally makes her way to the table. There, she chokes on her food.

Ohh my gosh, I'm so mean. Wahaha....

But seriously... I hope it really happens.

Long Day

Haiyo... Really had a long long day after the mahjong session.

Woke up to prepare to go work. Quite quiet so I was rather bored there.

Waited for Ch to finish work then go for supper. Erm... quite unglam cause we wanted to have Soup Spoon but they were closing. So we did a takeaway and I suggested we walk to MSQ's stairs to eat there. Haahaa...

Bugged Vid to meet us since he was around there.

After our unglam supper, they wanted to go have a drink. So to Harry's we went.
I deprived the waiter/waitress of 2 fifty cents tips. Vid challenged me to down the remaining glass of beer and he'll order another pint for me. So why not right? Hahahaa...

Shared cab back. But I really couldn't take it already. No la, I wasn't drunk, just super tired only. Ohh well, after a night of mahjong + wine and plus beer which I just drank. Sure tired already wor. So fell asleep pretty soon after boarding the cab.

Today came back early to lou hei with the family for the last time this CNY. The fried chicken was quite nice leh! Unlike the last time I ate there. The fried rice which is usually good was quite crappy this time round.

Ohh at work, this is the first time all of them see me wearing specs. Hahaha... Some think I look super innocent with specs. What to do? I am what! My eyes still hurt lor. Now its even worst. Its pain even as I blink.

Haiyo... The 2 of them are trying to lure me out of my house to meet them in town. But I decided to pass it. Too tired already wor!

Mahjong

I forgot to submit my mc so I had to go all the way to town to submit it. Bahh! Waste time la.

Came home and prepared to go colleague's place play mahjong, stay over and go straight to work the next day.

Went to buy Pizzahut for dinner. There were 4 of us. Me, colleague, brother, friend. But I'm the only noob. The 3 of them are all big timers who are so experienced. Right... I was being bullied. I never won a single round. I only know roughly how to play not sure how to game. Gosh.
They were fighting with each other, guessing each other's cards and then telling me what not to throw out.

Got the brother to check my eye cause it hurts when I look left. I'm advised not to wear lens for a week then see how. Sian lor...
He also showed us some pictures of eye surgeries and explained in bloody gory glory.
How a surgery to remove someone's eye after they have gone blind. Plus a pic of the removed eyeball on the green cloth. Saddening.

Party Time

Hee... I think I'm improving with my dai di skills. Jav & Ch were teaching me how to play when we were at ICB 2 nights ago. In the end leh, I won most of the rounds. Hahahaa... Now they don't want to teach me other games already. They want me to pay "school fees" to learn.

Sx wanted to go clubbing last night. I suggested St James cause I haven't been there. Kinda made Ch wait damn long before I sashay out of the winding maze after work. Haha... Went to Vivo to kill time, which equals to shopping, which equals to a high possibility of spending money.
Waited for Js to come for dinner.

Ohh... A damn thing happened. The member card that belongs to uncleJ got confiscated. TMD!
Its ladies night so me, Js & Sx can actually get in free. But Sx was bringing a friend and I bugged Ch to come back again; at least must have someone who has been there, then don't look so goondu. So thought can use the card to sign them in.

Anyway, Ch came back and I went out with the card to get him in la. Then just as we handed to the card to the bouncer, his friend replied his message and came out to get him in. But the bouncer already started asking for the card holder's IC number, which we didn't know. So since the card was not transferable, it got confiscated. Bahh! His friend got him in anyway. Sx's friend came soon after. The queue was freaking snaking long already. I asked Ch to ask his friend to get him in. His friend left Sx's friend's name on the guest list cause he didn't want to wait outside. Bahhh... If I knew his friend was there, I probably wouldn't have even bothered to take out the card and go through all that trouble lor.

Js left early. The rest of us went to eat prata which is 3 times the price of a normal kopitiam prata. But it was not bad leh. Or maybe I was hungry, anything would also be nice. Hmm...

Went back again until the lights came on.


Ohh.. This month, shuttling between 2 counters again. So first day at the newly renovated counter. Not too bad la. My sales was good. Haahaa... Surprisingly! Plus, its also a happier place to be. The mood was more high.
Met Jav after work and his mood and sales figure were totally opposite.
Used to think shuttling was bad. But now, I think it may not that bad after all. =)

Movie Again!

Ha! I haven't been watching movies in the cinema for a while. Then now, this week alone, suddenly went for 2.

Watched Protege yesterday after work. Making the way down to watch the movie was sickening. The roads were blocked for the Chingay and there were just so much people standing around.

Movie was not too bad. Some parts which were quite gross were damn funny to me. Right... Perhaps I'm just sadistic. Muahaha!!

Its not the typical drug lord smuggling-kidnap kinda show. It was more like a story from the inside. See how they "made" drugs and stuff.

Yesterday was my off day.

Slept till bout 2pm. Wooots!!!
Its been a long time since I even slept till past 11am!

Anyway, was supposed to go back to my ex office to return a card. But before leaving the house, I decided to buy tickets for movie later.

Right... I'm so blur that Jav & Ch can't stand me. Hahaa... Why? Cause I actually booked the ticket at The Cathay when we actually agreed to go to the one at Cineleisure since it will be nearer.

Well, not entirely my fault ma. The system was experiencing some difficulties so I was trying to check for other locations and I forgot to change it back after that. Plus the timing for both cinemas were the same. So it sort of slipped my mind.

While waiting for Jav to finish work, I went back to ex office. Its like I still work there and I just help myself to drinks and whatever stuff. Haha...

Went to PS to makan. I got spotted by Hj! Such coincidence for her to spot me. Anyway, she joined us for dinner at Yoshi before going our seperate ways.

The 3 of us went to watch Norbit. Its damn funny show! Super nice show to relief stress. Hahaha...

Tau huay for dessert followed suit. Heh! I had some craving to satisfy. Yum yumm!

CNY Day 1 & 2

Didn't really to that much visiting this year. Just the usual few relatives' places. Had quite a lot of yu sheng to eat.

Don't really seem to be in much of a festive mood leh. I don't know why.
Anyway, I'd rather go out with friends than visit relatives. Hahaha... The topics very much revolve around the same few each year. Every year, I hear the same comments or get asked the same things.

Grace, Hj, Xl & Yl came over on the day 2. Gambled a bit. Didn't win that much lah. 2 bucks only. Hahaha... But for the fun lah.

CNY Eve

Its Lunar New Year Eve!

Last night went ICB. We didn't even have to say what we wanted. It was just confirmed with us and I only added the wan ton cause had craving for some yummy crab sauce. Hahaha... Yehh... Chilli crab the other day wasn't exactly satisfying mah.

Anyway, today there's only one shift. I don't know whats up with the roster lah... Store only opens 7.5 hours but there are 3 full timers and 1 part timer. As if we'll get damn busy like that.

I brought my digi cam down and took some pics with fellow colleagues and friends from other brand's before store opened.

Ohhh.. Reunion dinner after that. I got to try driving around the estate. Well... Not familiar with the vehicle plus roads were narrow.

Dinner was super filling. Its lots of food leh! My gosh!

Valentine's Day

Yesterday was Valentine's Day. The day where you see loads of flowers, soft toys and other stuff being cradled in people's arms.

I didn't spend Vday alone.
Even though I had to work afternoon and do closing.
But that didn't really matter cause I know I'll have a nice meal after work.

Viv arranged for me & Jav to go for supper. Seafood supper... Her treat!
We went to have seafood at this popular place in Geylang.
Kinda lost our way cause we weren't that sure of the location.

Slowly but surely, we found our way! Yayyy!!!
Ordered LOADS of food.

Bee hoon, vege, bamboo clams, cereal prawns, chilli crab!!!
May seem just like a few dishes only. But for 3 people, I think its quite a lot leh!

The food was alright only lah. Maybe the standard I was expecting was too high. I wasn't exactly satisfied with the food.
The bee hoon was so-so only.
Bamboo clams, I can't really compare cause I've never eaten it before but Jav said he'll bring us to another place next time for better ones.
Cereal prawns were ok but I think the one I get in JB is crispier and they're more generous with the cereal.
The chilli crab looks damn nice but the taste didn't do justice to the dish.
But.. But!! The sight of the vege was such a turn off, I didn't even eat one bit. The stems were so thick. If only they were longer, I would probably use it to poke the eyes of those ah pehs who were sitting/standing around when we were making our way to the place.


CH just came to talk cock and watch us eat, then share cab home with me. Hahaha...

Major Shopping Haul

Afternoon, went down to meet people during their lunch time. Supposed to accompany them, meaning wait for me then go eat lah. But apparently, by the time I reached, they were already done with lunch and asked me to go eat while they sit there and chit chat. Bo liao... I rather not eat.

Anyway, after that I went to take my photo for my driving license and was for time to pass to meet my babes.

While waiting for Yl, from 5pm till she knocks off at 6.15pm, I spent 200+ freaking buckaroos. 100 on clothes which are all black. Hj keeps nagging at me leh that whatever black stuff is DEFINITELY belonging to me. Nobody else would buy all black. Hahaha... My babe knows me sho well.

The other 100 bucks, well... spent on accessories. So pretty I just can't resist. Anyway, those I have, some see until sian already. I need a wider variety! Not really full 100 lah. Considering that I actually helped buy a pair of earrings for someone's other half.

Anyway finally Yl came, pulled me away from shopping and off to meet Grace, Hj & Xl. We had sushi for dinner. Then went around to do a lil shopping. Bought Grace her 'peanut' bag as her bday pressie.

We shopped till most shops closed. They wanted to go off already.
I made my way back to meet Jav & CH outside Taka. On the way there, I past this booth which sells jewellery boxes, and *ahem* I bought something from there.
Anyway, since most of the shops closed already, we just sat outside and chit chat. I received a cute bear keychain for Vday.
They actually threatened to smash the 'ugly duckling' I have hanging on my hp. My poor duckling. Got smashed twice already when I accidentally left it dangling out of the cupboard.
Why??? What has it done to offend them?

Over Hyped

Family dinner at Lau Pa Sat.

Seriously, that place is over priced, over hyped but food below standard. Didn't like the way they touted for business. Its irritating.
I sure as hell know the cereal sotong sucked big time. Chilli crab don't tastes nice, very much like paste. If I wanted to eat paste, I would rather go ICB and order fried wan ton and get the crab sauce which tastes much closer to the actual chilli crab dish. The sambal stingray wasn't that sambalicious enough.
The rest of food was like so so only. There wasn't any particular item which made me go 'WOW!'.
To pay so much for this type of food standard, in a non aircon location, roadside to be exact, I'd rather go to a restaurant to dine.

My customer requested that I do her makeover for her cause she was gonna have her bday party. While I was doing her makeup, she kept on complaining.
But not about me. About the hair stylist. How he made her wait for so long then acted diva, insisted she get makeup done first and blah blah blah. Basically, she wasn't happy cause that made her rush.

Then after I was done and she had to redeem for her products, she was in such a rush that she shoved her card into my hands, asked me to pick whatever products I felt she should get and she'll come back after doing her hair to sign for it.
My gosh lah!!!

That is damn stressing lor. Imagine you only know a person for at most 2 hours, they chuck their card with you. Trusting that you won't misuse the card. Anyway I was supposed to knock off. Colleagues were willing to close the sale for me so that I could leave since I won't be able to claim OT.
But, I felt that wasn't right. Anyway, I'm not that gian lui. I was also told that I shouldn't attend to customers since it was not necessary as the rest were free. Fine lor... I went round to other brands and chit chat while waiting for my customer to come back. Hahahaa...
So when the customer came back, she was still quite unhappy with the hair stylist but this time was because she was made to look tai tai. So since she was happy with how I made her up, she tipped me lah. Whatever amount she tipped, was better than claiming OT.
Damn lucky I waited. Imagine if I didn't. Not only I won't get the tip, she'll get the impression that I don't finish a sale properly.

Anyway, after work, went with LM, Jav & CH. Supposed to go ride the hot air balloon thingy. But too bad lah, wind conditions weren't to our advantage. The ride was considered unsafe because the winds were too strong. Darn it lah... We were all like excited bout the ride lor.
Headed for dinner without LM cause she had to head home. Dinner wasn't nice and yet overpriced.

Training

Had a full day of training back at Grand Corpthone today.

Was quite interesting. Basically, breakfast then training, lunch then hands on, tea then games. The lunch was pretty good. My choice of fish was yummy. The tea break was nice cause got alot of nice sandwiches. Haha...

The games was just cheonging to answer questions so that can win prizes. So happen that the game was to test us on skincare which me & Jav were on the same team and were expected to do well cause we won the skincare competition thingy. A bit stressed... Hahaha... But who cares, in the end our team won too.

Anyway, after training, went down to FEP to shop with Jav, Chantel & Wy. Suddenly the in-thing was locks & keys. I don't know why... A quarter of BB's staff are like crazy over the bling lah. Its madness.

The 2 of them left, leaving me and Jav to meet up with CH. My goshhh... The two of them are idiots in their own rights. Suanning was fun cause they don't get pissed.

Didn't buy that much stuff cause we've quite a lot of items from the training already. Hee...

BB's CNY Reunion Dinner

Was held at Grand Corpthone last night.

Worked morning and left with LM staff. The stupid security gave them damn a lot of trouble. So we were kinda rushing to the taxi stand. My digi's batt died. So timely... I had to go get new ones.
Walked past CH who was day dreaming way.

Me: Psssstt!
CH looked up... 2 seconds later (thinking it was a customer): Hi...
CH 3 seconds later: Ehh? Babe!! Couldn't recognize you lah. You look so different!
Muahaha... Reaction damn bloody slow.

Anyway, the taxi driver also damn screwed up. He drove us the wrong way, heading to a different hotel and still can say that he was right and we said wrongly. Right... 3 people heard what venue Val specifically said and how can all hear wrongly?

Dinner was rather nice. First up was lou hei.
Its a seriously messy dish. Hahaa...
