Hello Pumpkin!

The colour of my braces this month (black and orange) was chose specially for this occasion, even though it isn't widely celebrated in Sg.

Its halloween today!

Walked in the rain to my class even though I brought umbrella.

Lesson today is on eyes again. Hmm... Its really bad to have lack of sleep. I had a concentration level of probably 40%? At most 50%. It was so low that even though I was referring to the notes when I was having hands on, I still couldn't really get what I needed to do. Yep... It was really that bad. Then when it was my turn to let my friend practise, I kinda dozed off a bit.

Next lesson no more already. I should make it a point to sleep early. Heck the msn or email. I used to feel weird if I don't use the net for a day. But at least got improvement now. My life doesn't revolve around surfing and chatting anymore.

Teacher's bday so some classmates apparently went to buy some Ferragamo bracelet which cost like $229 and asked who wanted to share. I couldn't catch a glimse of it cause it was already wrapped up. I stayed back to wait for teacher to come back and open it, but that didn't happen. Teacher was helping this girl do halloween make up. It was like a split image thingy. So one side is the "evil" side where the hair spikes up. Few leaves were cut and stuck inside to make it seem like plants growing from the side of the body (fake tattoo drawings, not sticker). This girl's hair was probably half the back and yet it still managed to stand! Amazing! The other side was probably the girl-next-door look cause they went to curl it. Damn cool!

Went to church advance mass for the All Saints Day. Then went for dinner with dad and bro.

Ohh... Next week probably will be involved in the Fashion Week event. I also don't know excatly what I'll do there cause still considered newbie. Probably assist the old bridies. Do cow do horse and maybe all the sai kang. Don't know... Just wild guessing only. See how it goes ba. But I gotta be at Expo before 8am. Kaoz! Then its supposed to last till 5pm. Double kaoz! Hopefully don't need to stand whole day. If not my legs will probably just break there.

Sighhh... The breakout on my right cheek still hasn't subsided. Got 8 freaking volcanoes there lor. I hate having pimples. They look so ugly!! Helpppppp!!!!

Busy Week

Right... I haven't been blogging since last friday. Practically went out everyday. Sleep late wake up early. Everyday!

Friday was my accessories class. Maybe will upload the pics of what I pieced together when I get the camera back from Bro. Anyway, I was doing it damn slow. We were supposed to piece a necklace, followed by earrings then a ring. When people were already doing the ring, I was still doing the necklace. Maybe I'm trying to be a perfectionist. I wanted to bend the ends of the wires so perfectly that I wasted so much time. Wahaha! Quite fun, I may be considering to sign up to further myself in this area. Anyway I'm so darn free. Met up with Conz at night to go search for the japanese magazines. Heh... Must quickly find it so that can get her to ask William to buy from Japan.

Saturday had to wake up damn damn early. Had to do the invigilating thingy. This time I didn't get any centre. Boss felt guilty that she forgot to give me a centre but aunt went to assure her that its ok cause I can help her. My aunt gave me 5 rooms on 1 floor to take charge. Wahhh tiring leh. I gotta run around like mad, making sure each room was in order and cover their duties while they take break. Godfather decided to give me his share of the pay. Haha! Yeh! Got extra money.

Sunday went to church then went to eat lunch with dad and bro. Ate at Jack's Place. bro wanted to try escargots. Initially I was kinda turned off by the thought of eating it. But after trying one, I wanted another cause its damn nice! So much nicer than oysters cause bro wanted to try oysters as well and dad ordered. Nahhh... Oysters aren't to my liking. First time I ordered steak to try. Why so bloody one!?!?!? Even though I wanted it well done its still a bit bloody. Then people take medium rare or even rare how? Eeeee...
Lobster bisque is nice leh. Its like the thick and creamy verrsion of prawn soup. Haha!

Anyway, met Ade to go Bugis after that. We didn't have much time to shop. So I think it was kinda a wasted trip. The heels on my strap came loose. But I kinda like that pair so I came home to attempt to glue it before my Salsa class. Its better to wear heels or maybe I'm used to it after few weeks.
Guess what? I ended up gluing my thumb to my index finger instead.
So clever. *Rolls eyes*
Thank goodness it wasn't glued to the shoe cause I'll probably look like an idiot dangling the shoe around.
Salsa class was another dizzy day. I kept on dreaming and don't know where to turn. Kinda lost form. Haha!
After that went to eat Delifrance again. Drink lobster bisque again. Wahaha... Cholestrol level very high wor..

Breakout

Wahh liao... My face has a pretty bad breakout. I have 4 pimples running in a straight line, and some enough to form the bermuda triangle. TMD! Why? Since last week, everyday sleep late wake up early. So everday apply make up early, remove it late at night. Drink little water. Haiz... No wonder my face suddenly become like the ring of fire on the atlas. lor. Since last week leh.

Tuesday had lesson on natural eyeshadow application.

Met Py for dinner and she came over to my place to scan stuff.

Wednesday worked with Py. Some skincare and perfume lobang she got through friend. Wahh... I didn't know lor. Went to wear heels. Had to stand whole day. My legs nearly broke. Each step felt like the skin on my heels were splitting. It was just pain. To make things worst, sales wasn't that good. Sian lor...

Thursday my second and last day of work. Sales was much better. Legs didn't feel like breaking. At the end of the day, I got my pay, then I decided to buy the Lancome eyecream. Asked the boss to give me discount. Haha! I got it at about 50% off retail price. Wahahaa! He still gave minature perfume and keychain. Not bad lah.

For two days, I've been eating mushroom soup for dinner. Its damn yummy lor. The one today offers free flow of bread. Nice nice!

Ohh... Tommorrow gotta wake up early for lesson. Yawnnzzz!

Concealing

Wah kaoz eh... After getting off the train, I had to walk to school. I saw a trial of blood on the floor. Being damn kpo, I decided to follow it. Haha! Anyway it ended at the part of the empty field and made me wonder if another person was murdered. Wahaa! I know, I've got a over imaginative mind.

Reached class on time but the door wasn't opened yet. Anyway, once the door was opened, my lunch buddy, Ros went to sit at another place cause this other girl, B, decided to turn up today and wanted to stick with another person, A, but that person had already paired up. Then the lesson started and after the demo, we had to pair up and try on one another.

Lesson was on concealing. Erm... A bit tough to remember the colours for the various purpose. But slowly lah, after few times should be able to get it right.

School ended, I went with Ros to see some magazines at Borders then some stuff at Art Friend. Then we went to Kino. I bought another magazine. Now I gotta collect all kinds of magazines. But I'm gonna claim from daddy... Shhhhhh....... Muahahaaa!!!

Inspiration Takes Time

This whole week, I've been going out almost everyday. Never found the time to do my homework. Today, no choice cause tomorrow gotta hand in already.

Went for the early mass so that I can come back early to start. Sat down looking at the piece of paper. Trying hard to figure out how to draw the lips. They have the guidelines but somehow, I just can't figure out some of the extra lines.

Sat there doing on and on for a few hours. Even asked bro to help me buy magazine so that I can find some inspirations from there. Anyway, I had to draw 8 different patterns. By the time I was doing the 4th, I was drained on ideas.

Then bro decided to be funny and take out one of the singapore ghost story books from the cupboard to show his friend. The cover wasn't that scary but he said the stories and illustrations were a bit. So being curious, I flipped through... Nothing leh... "Whats so scary?" I asked him. Then he said its the contents. But I was lazy to read. So he found another book. The pic of this bloody face with sharp teeth and blood flowing from it. He said its so gross he doesn't wanna look at it further. Me? I found it as a source of inspiration and drew my 5th lip shape with fangs drenched in blood. Haha!!

I had to reject all outings today. Cause I took so damn long to draw my stuff. Spent the whole afternoon and even after stopping to attending my salsa class, I had to come back and draw.

Salsa class was kinda quiet. Lynn wasn't there, the teacher's assistant also wasn't there. So it was just me, another girl and the teacher. The moves today were mainly on turning. Plus practising last weeks moves which was more turning, I ended up feeling all dizzy. The parquet floors seemed to move, I felt like I was floating. The mirrors at the sides made me see more than double. Haha!

Reformat

Haiz... I am still stuck at backing up my laptop. The cd writer isn't going very fast. So I can blog while I'm waiting. Got pressure to reformat my laptop fast cause uncleN is waiting for the reformat disc.

Hopefully all goes well and I can be back online asap. I don't wanna reformat and not be able to come online. That would really suck. Anyway, damn... if anything goes wrong tonight, I'll be left alone to source for the troubleshooting stuff cause Bro won't be in. Hope and pray that it will be an easy process.

Nothing much today. Slept late last night. Bout 4.30am. Woke up at bout 11am. I don't have much sleep! Sigh...

Hot & Numb

Yesterday ate late, came back late. Very tired cause Godma smsed me quite late to ask if I wanted to go out today to pick up the cake.

Anyway, yesterday yesterday... What did I do? Oh yes, I remember.
Revisited the good ol' days. Met Cf, Py & Ym to go Beach Road cause we wanted to eat the "healthier" version of char kway teow. Then we went up to the upper level to walk walk and see how the place has changed since secondary school days where we had to go there to buy stuff like shoes, name tags, ranks blah blah blah. So yeh, I bought a pair of slippers and earrings.

So from secondary school days, I was taken back further in time when we went to the Concourse. Looking at the toys which I've played when I was a kid just reminded me of my childhood. Then there were so many stuff for Halloween. All the party stuff just puts me in the mood to throw a party! the ideas just kept flowing.

My ideal birthday party... Would be kind of a theme party with a fusion touch of class, cuteness, dreamy, gothic. The entrance will have colourful shiny curtains and upon entering there will be a huge banner with the words "Happy X Birthday Jessica". Then I'll be wearing the cute tiara or the dreamy angel wings and halo on top, have cute plates with the word "Princess" and shiny reflective stuff. Different coloured cutleries and napkins. Make it complusory where everyone either has to wear a hat of their choice or use these kind of mysterious venetican mask which looks damn class. Then I will hang either a treasure chest pinata, flower pinata or tweety pinata and have a game where everyone will queue up to be blindfolded and use a stick to whack the pinata. I think I'll choose the tweety pinata cause it reminds me of a teacher in high school. Then I'll feel damn happy to hit personally and when I see people hitting it as hard as possible. Then when the pinata finally disintergrates and tears, I will have little treats pouring down for everyone to take. Haha! How cool is that?

Sorry back to reality. No money, no party.

After the walking, we went over to suntec to walk a bit while waiting for Sw to come. But since we were hungry, we went to eat the steamboat first and asked Sw to come join us later.

The steamboat is damn hot. Spicy hot! Its the mala kind of soup base. Wahh lucky they provide free flow of drinks and toilet paper. The toilet paper so happened to be just beside me cause I was the one who wanted this mala soup base. I like the fu zhou fishballs cause they were very juicy like those xiao long baos. Anyway after that we saw them frying bread the french toast style. I thought that was gonna be a new dish at the buffet area. So I was quite tempted to wait for it and eat. After it was fried, the big plate was placed on an empty table. Ym tried to dare me if I would ask the boss if its meant for the buffet or not. But before the dare was executed, the boss offered us. Its nice leh! Taste a bit like those man tou. Too bad it wasn't part of the buffet. But at least we got to try it.

It was getting late so we headed home. Tried to take group photo on the bus but then it was damn unsuccessful. Definitely either someone's head get cropped off or eyes closed. Sway!

Happy Birthday to Cf. Haha!!

Amazingly after sleeping so late last night, I was able to wake up to go meet Godma. But I was a bit late. Hmm... Err... 20 minutes late lah. Before that she asked me what to eat. I asked her to decide cause she always say I go for those cafe/restaurants/ex food. So ok lor.. We went to the food court to see what we could eat. Godma didn't want to eat meat items today so I had to join her. It was damn crowded and we didn't feel like eating those fish soup. Then she suggested to go Swensens. Muahahaaa!! Not my idea wor... But she said its to celebrate my earning of the diploma. However, we prefer to refer to it as my expensive piece of toilet paper with my name on it.

Lunch was good. A satisfying treat of fish and chips accompanied with coffee, soup and dessert.

Then we went to Hilton to get cheese cake. Kaoz... One of the person there got stiff lips leh. Can't smile at all. Face already so unfriendly still slap on a thin line of thick blue eyeshadow on the eyes without blending. Makes her look like she is squinting damn hard. Perhaps she would like a makeover? I'll be glad to help her draw an artificial upward curve on her lips to give her a perpetual smile, brighten up her eye area and slap on some blusher to make her look more friendly. Wahaha! Too bad for people who irritate me, I'll scrutinize their face and find every fault with their make up or lack of make up.
Who ask her lah, got a damn attitude and served us with the oh-you-are-local-not-ang-moh look.
Why? Look down on fellow country people is it? Tmd... Hilton also got such lousy customer service. So much for PM Lee's emphasize on customer service ya? If it isn't for the well rated cheesecake, we would probably not go back again.

Lazy Day

Slept till about 12.30pm. Its nice to sleep late on a weekday when there isn't anyone at home but me. Neighbourhood is also quiet cause kids are in school, people are out to work. Simply blissful.

Ade sms me to check if I was awake. Supposed to meet her for lunch. So erm... Lazed till bout 1.15 then got up to check if my hair would make me look like a lion. Hmm... It didn't. So that makes me quite pleased with the cut.

We decided to try the new menu at Delifrance. Hmm... Ok lah, not bad. Seems like so many shops in the mall are cooking up a lot of pasta. Hans, Pizza Hut and now even Delifrance.

I managed to buy the hair clips. Thats reminds me, I gotta add up all the stuff I've bought for my course so far. Needa keep track of purchases then can claim from daddy. Hahaahaa!

I wanna buy that hair styler thingy leh... But don't know if my course will need to use or not. Must wait till next week to ask my classmates. So mean time, if my hair is unmanageable, I just gotta try to use other methods to tame it. Ohh well...

Everyday seems to be raining. I like rainy days. Its nice and cool. But not when I'm wearing jeans and slippers which do not have much friction. Today's weather is so nice to stay home. But I can't do my homework. I don't have colour pencils at home. Needa borrow from Ade first.

Lips And Hair Affair

Yesterday's lesson was on lips. How to draw proper lip shape and blah blah blah. So the teacher while conducting the lesson, went on to tell each and everyone of us whether our's need or don't need to draw the arch. So came to my turn, he said don't need. So which means, whoever supposed to do my lips will have such and easy job. Then we did on each other, purposely make either the normal look, bridal look, geylang look and blah blah blah.

But I think the lesson was kinda slack. I think we were talking most of the time. Bout where to find cheaper stuff and all that.

Went to meet Ade after class then Ken came to meet her. Had dinner together. Erm... We were aimlessly walking around Orchard.

Today's lesson was on eyebrow. How to get desired shape of eyebrow. We were supposed to get people with eyebrows to be our models so that we can try plucking. After much convincing and all that, I managed to get two, Py & Ym.

Cf & Sw also came down to my class, not to be my model but just to see see look look. We all went for lunch then I had to rush back to do homework. Drawing eyebrows from scratch. Tough sia... Anyway, after I was done, I had to stay back cause today my turn to do duty. Asked one of the assistants to help me draw my eyebrow.

Met Ade after class. Went to eat dinner before going to cut hair. The salon wanted people to practice new styles on. So happened that the boss cut for me. Either I was tired or I was getting to comfortable cause I nearly fell asleep. Anyway, my hair is at shoulder length. A length which I have not ventured since secondary school days. But its a good change. He cut away my spoilt and frizzy hair. Then another guy took over to colour my hair. I don't know what to call it leh. Its neither dye nor the usual highlight leh. But I like the way he coloured my hair and the colour combination. Ohh I remember. He explained that it was some shadow effect.

I think if I was a paying customer who wanted the boss to cut for me, I would have spent a bomb. But since I wasn't, the cut was free. I only had to pay $20 for the hair dye products. I may consider going back again next time. Haha! Anybody wants? But you do not have much say to what style you want.

Oh yes, before I forget, happy birthday to Sw.

Salsa

Aiyo... Quick update. I needa sleep soon. I've attached some electronic massage thingy to myself to relieve myself of the muscle ache from yesterday's badminton session. Woops! 5 minutes left..

Sigh... I couldn't wake up to go for early mass today. Dad and bro went without waking me up. Tsk! Then I also don't know why, no energy to drag myself out of bed. Ended up having to go for the later mass when the skies started to pour. Serves me right, right? Go early then won't get drenched mah. But aiyah... What to do?

Came back home after church. Had lotsa things to do. Promised dad to type his stuff for him. I've gotten my priorities right this time! Though he said it wasn't urgent, but I still wanna get it over and done with asap. This is the new me. Haha! Crap! But ya, slowly lah, I'm slowly breaking the punctuality curse. Hopefully! *Cross fingers, cross toes, cross eye* >_<

Aiyah, actually 5 minutes of the massage up liao. But very shiok leh! So I've set it for another 15 minutes. Haha!

Then after all the typing, I went to label my make up stuff with my initial. Last week damn sian la. I know I put my stuff around each other. But then, the other girls stuff also quite close, so kinda mixed up and I couldn't find my stuff. Had to waste time finding it. Then after that gotta keep on asking, eh, yours or mine? Troublesome! Save myself the confusion. I went to draw everything.

Went for salsa. I was early! Waiting for Lynn at the entrance already then she sms me. Ask me to meet her at the bus stop cause she didn't bring umbrella. Waited at the bus stop, sms her where was she already. She said she was two bus stops away. Eh... If the bus stop she is supposed to board is two bus stops away, doesn't it mean she just got on? But it was ok lah, pretty fast. The princess came and was sheltered to class.

Wahh... Second lesson and its getting so much tougher. I can't imagine what we'll learn by the 4th lesson, let alone the 8th. Lots of turning today. For the half turn, teacher keep on saying, right back left turn, left back right turn back. Full turn was worst! 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. 5.. left foot forward right foot turn 1 round. Woahh woahhh woaaa! Turn till I was a bit dizzy. Initially nearly lost balance so many times. But ya, its all fun! Laughed at each other's clumsiness. But at the end of the lesson, I'm happy to say, I've managed to achieve this part of the routine.

Trashed

Yesterday was out window shopping with Cf, Py & Sw. Well, I could only see things but I cannot buy. I realised that my wallet only had a $10 inside. Pathetic! Anyway we combed, Bugis Junction & Village. They bought stuff... I was just following. My dinner was some fried mushrooms and a bowl of red bean paste dessert. Along the way, we saw a lot of those steamboat buffets. Quite interesting. We may probably go and try one of them quite soon.
We went over to Suntec where I finally bought some stuff. Battery and marker. Haha! Now I'm gonna claim whatever I can from daddy. Few days already lor... No money to eat proper dinner. Ended up eating grapes cause can claim. Sad case.

Where did my money fly to??? Let me slowly think...

Today went to play badminton with Godparents and bro. Now I know why bro was so confident when he said I couldn't win him. Cause I didn't know the rules. Initially I thought that regardless of who serves, as long as the one party fails to return and its not out, the other gets the point. But I was wrong! So wrong!!! The actual rule is that only if you serve then you can score the point. If you fail to return, means service over. The other person gets to serve and they can try to score. So bro said he wanted to start first. Wahh liao eh... He is damn cunning lor. Start first means he can score point first. Once you score point, you get to serve again. So there is another chance to score. K lah, don't beat around the bush lah. I admit, I got trashed by him. Bad! Even when playing mix doubles, I kept on staying quite far away from godfather and bro when they hit. Maybe subconsciously, I'm scared of getting smacked by their racket. They hit damn hard lor.

But after 2 hours, I felt I was like an alien again. Didn't sweat much. bro say must be cause I just stand there like flower pot. Bullshit lor... I ran like hell cause he purposely hit all over the place.

Karaoke Session

Wahh, today damn happy. I broke my own record. I was supposed to meet Hj & Xl at the station at 12.30pm. I was on time and the first one to reach. Amazing!

Anyway, I was on time cause I woke up damn early. Wanted to play with the eye tape again. Got my eye lids all sticky and had to wash my face the second time.

Satisfied my craving for Cartel's pork ribs. Haha! Had that for lunch. Morning starve myself a bit lah cause don't feel like eating. Then we decided to go for an afternoon session of karaoke.

We had about 4 hours to sing. Well, as usual, I sang mostly english songs. A bit sian of those which have the models prancing around totally not in sync with the song and no relation. It was just boring to watch. Prefer those which features the original singer singing. Sang a few chinese songs but most of the time, I was trying to figure out what were the words.

Came back home after that. Eh... Was on conference call with Cf, Py & Sw then suddenly I noticed I got blisters! I got them cause I was trying to be a kind soul and agree to change my flat sandals for Xl's heels. She got blisters when she wore them and had difficulty walking. I didn't realised blister on my left toe was about 1 cm big until now. I badly wanted to burst it! Wanted to use a needle and poke it so that the water inside will ooze out. So anyway, since I was on the line with the 3 of them, I decided to ask if it would be wise to burst a watery blister. At first, they said no cause it would be pain. But then as they were saying, I was trying to find how to burst it cause I felt my threshold of pain was quite ok. Yah dah ya dah... Then suddenly they said, better not lah, later will leave a ugly scar. So thats it, one sentence like that and I decided to leave the darn blister alone.

This week very busy ar... Tomorrow going out window shopping. Saturday gonna play badminton. Sunday got salsa again. Wahh... Busy busy.
Luckily I've completed my homework. =)

Talking bout badminton, I'll be going to play with godparents and bro. Damn him lah... Underestimate me and overestimate himself. Said if I play with him, a 1-to-1 match, I won't be able to score more than 2 points. I'll prove him wrong. So wrong! Anyway, made a bet with him. If I score more than 2 points, he owes me $5. More than 10 points, owe me $10. Every point above 10 means x point to $x. So we shall wait and see...

Double Eyelids

Stayed home to do my homework. I even went to photocopy extra so that I can practise first before doing on the actual sheet to hand in. Last time, I would never do homework unless forced. Now, I still do extra homework on own accord. I'm surprised with myself too!

Anyway, now my hand muscle ache liao. Had to do it quick and good so many times. But then, just gotta train up and get used to it.

Washed and cleaned all my make up stuff too. I don't like my stuff uncleaned. Cause I suddenly became a hygiene freak.

Tra-la-laa after that I was glued to the tv screen.

Ohh ya, I also tried to make double eyelids. Can leh!!! Haha! Unfortunately, my skill not that good yet. Line can be seen, so can the tape. But I'll keep trying. I don't believe I can't do it.

I think dad and Bro noticed something different but they didn't bother to ask. They were probably thinking, whats new? Vain girl... not another of her crazy thing.

Second Week In School

Yesterday wore white polo tee to school. Damn bad choice. My tee ended up stained with streaks of foundation, pecks of powder and blusher.

After just one lesson of practise only, they wanted to train us to work under pressure already. In 20 minutes flat, we had to do studio photography kinda make up. So its those thick thick kind. Everybody was working like bumble bees. First round, nobody managed to complete it. I skipped steps too. Second round, didn't skip steps, worked under pressure and completed everything. Phew!

Today also same thing, try to do in 20 minutes again. After that we learnt the eye enhancement stuff. How to apply eyeliner, curling, use eye tape and the fake lashes blah blah blah. I also found out that I am like the only one in the class who has single eyelid. Damn pathetic. So because of that, I was asked to go up, sit there and let others watch how to draw eyeliner for single eyelid people.

Then after demo was done, we were asked to go back to our places to try on each other. So my friend didn't know how to cut the eye tape for me. Went to ask teacher for help. Said that mine cannot cause the fold is too far in and not big enough, so if I put will be very weird. True enough, was weird. Then since teacher is pro, after analyzing a while, said, "actually can leh, but very difficult and tedious, never mind i try and show you."
So the pro worked his magic and *tadah!* I had double eyelid!!!!
Muahaa... First time in my life I had natural looking double eyelid. I was smiling from ear to ear, admiring my eye.
Unfortunately, the joy was short lived. He said, "see, actually can lah. Ok, not going to do the other side, so better take off if not look weird." Before I could protest and request him to do the other eye, the quick and nimble hands had already peeled off the tape. My smile was wiped off my face that very instant.

Anyway, after lunch, we had to do our homework, using our creative juices, we gotta decorate the false lashes. Wahh liao eh... Must do 10 lor. I do till pek cek. But finally, this is what I came out with.

Although I think that mine is not as creative as mine fellow classmates' who put glitter on the whole thing that if you paste it, each blink of the eye will have glitter dropping liao. Haha. They were so generous with glitter that I wouldn't dare wear it cause I don't wanna kena eye infection.

Mahjong

Yesterday relatives came over to my place. UncleN & AuntS just came back from China after back packing for 2 over months.

Sometimes when relatives come over to my place, then I gotta play host. Wanna take a nice afternoon nap also not very nice. Wanna face my laptop and surf net also cannot cause they wanted to use. So what else was I left to do? Nothing much lor, sit around, read newspaper, pack my make up bag and pretty much stoned.

Evening was supposed to meet Cf & Ym for dinner at KFC. Bro went to buy back dinner for my relatives but I think he over order. So end up I also ate my dinner then went to meet the 2 of them at KFC and watch them eat.

The 2 of them reached liao. So when I reached, they were saying that the seat they were at was kinda hot cause the air con duct was not functioning. Waited for another table to finish. After a while, they finished and just as I was about to sit down, KNS lah... this kiddo suddenly rushed and happily plopped his boney ass on the seat and shouted in victory to his mother that he has found an empty table. I looked at the mother to see if she would ask her kid to get up and wait for another table or not. But she just starred at me, then look at her kid, starred back at me with the oh-too-bad look. Then I noticed that her husband had already rushed to get another empty table liao. Instead of moving over, she asked her husband to come over. Wah kao eh... Damn greedy leh. Table also wanna take so many.
Disgusted by the kid's rudeness and the parent's kiasuism, I just walked away.
I don't like to degrade myself and argue with such people. -_- ...

Anyway, after dinner we went to get a bottle of Coke cause Ym wanted to drink Bacardi Coke. Placed 3 people mahjong. I don't really know how to play till very pro. I only know the basic. Then they gotta help me count the tais. Chim game leh. We had Tequila Orange, Bacardi Coke and Bailey to accompany us through the game. Hopping that the next round will have another 4 people so that we can play the proper game.

Just came back from church. Later gonna start first lesson of Salsa class. Wonder how it will go.

Outing

Finally, the stock for this chair arrived and daddy went back to Ikea to buy it. The pink very bright leh. He fixed it up for me last night even though he came back quite late and was pretty tired.

Today was a lazy day. Long time never sleep till 1pm already.

Ohh ya, I managed to sell off another one of the bags online. Heh...

Met Xl before going to Bugis to meet Hj, Grace & Ray. Settled at the V8 cafe for dinner. Then went to Bugis Village to walk walk. A lot of things to see there, but no money to buy.

Actually walking around there was kind of a reality check. My latest hobby is to make own accessories to cut cost. But after looking at the variety of stuff available and the price, it makes me think whether I can really save that much money and is it worth spending all that time doing it.

We went to Coffee Bean to sit, eat cake, drink. We were chattin bout art class in secondary school which reminds me, since primary school, we had to do this art folio thingy where art work were kept inside and there would be a sheet of paper which records our grades of each piece. Art was a subject where the teacher could use either english or chinese to teach. After the first few weeks of each year, I start to not like doing art for that year. Then I will start to not hand in my work. Either cause I don't like the teacher or I can't understand art lingo in chinese so I don't know what the teacher wanted.

What did I do to escape doing my art? I'll trace the teacher's handwriting of my grade from my first few weeks of work. Then copy it in red pen onto what I didn't do lor. So everytime at the start of the year, I make sure my work isn't that great or that bad. I just aimed for average which was B. Haha! Then I'll trace B, then sometimes add a '+' sometimes add a '-' to the grade lor. At least not so suspicious if I kena those random checks by the principle. Then it happened a few times where I kena checked. I was questioned where were the pieces of work which had the grade but not filed in. Once I said I lost them. Another, I said its at home, will bring it the next day. But that day never came and I siamed doing art all the way. Haha!!

Whahaa! I know I was mischievous in secondary school. But thinking back, I actually started my mischief even in primary school!

Most Expensive Piece Of Paper

This morning I couldn't really sleep. My mind was thinking bout the results which would be released after 9am. I woke up at 8am, darn, still early. Woke again at 8.30, still early. Went back to sleep, till 9.20am. Went to drink some water, brace myself to see my grade.

Checked my handphone's sms. One was from mentor, congratulating me on passing my project. Yeahhhh! So I know I pass. Was relief to know that. Slowly on my laptop. Went to the website to check. C, I got my grade! It was better than what I expected. But perhaps if I added in an extra section and the progress report, I could have got even higher. I forgot till I got back home after handing in the report. So it was too late already. Never mind! I am happy!

Called dad to tell him my grade. He was happy for me. Said my efforts were finally paid off and not gone down the drain. Celebration dinner tonight. I went to ask AuntM along.

Hj came over to use my laptop. Bought duck porridge for me cause I said I can't chew. Anyway, after using the com, I showed her someone's friendster blog. Wah liao... Quite mushy. Nono... Should be damn damn damn mushy.
So mushy that we kept on laughing. Hj could hardly bring herself to read out the sentences written.
So mushy we went to intro the blog to Grace. Wahaa!!! We all buay tahan the contents lor.
So mushy that Grace decided to spread it to her friends and wanted to show her goat.
So mushy that to type a kiss, instead of just "muack" it became "muackies". If "muack" is the sound made when kissing, does "muackies" signify a long wet kiss with lots of saliva involved? Then maybe when I puke after reading the blog, I should write not *puke!* but *pukieesssss* to signify a long vomit with lots of gross stuff. Hows that eh?

Me & Hj decided to play Risk. But, ehhh... two people how to play? We don't know how to start so forget it. Switch to monopoly instead. Played for almost 2 hours. Till sian liao then stopped playing. I was losing lah... Sad rite...

Although there is this huge ulcer on my lips, I still went to scoop a cup of chocolate ice cream for myself. Dad's friend came over before they go to church, also bought a cake for me with the words "Congratulations" written on it. It was a chocolate cake. Very nice! I like it! Soft, spongy and chocolately. Today very "sinful" leh.

Dinner was at the kopitiam eating zhi char. No choice, since he say celebrate my result. I just gotta bear with the pain and eat damn slow. Food nice but with the damn ulcer and the teeth pain, can't really enjoy it to the fullest. I had to swallow food in big chunks. Even bee hoon also pain to bite. *sobs* or rather *sobbiesssss* to signify a long and wet cry.

Hmm... wondering when I can get my expensive piece of paper with my name written on it. Takes 3 over years to make and cost bout 8K to get that almost useless paper. I think toilet paper also more useful than that lor. Toilet paper still can clean ass lah, wipe mucus, dry hands etc. The cert leh? Take, laminate and leave it to turn yellow in a file which will probably be chucked into a corner of my cupboard.

Dental Appointment

I reached the dental clinic early without the need to take cab. Godma was surprised with the change in me. Haha! Have I broken the punctuality curse? I sure hope so!

Anyway, went into the clinic. Complained to my dentist bout my bleeding gums when I brush my teeth. His reply a bit sadistic cause he said you just gotta carry on brushing until the bleeding stops. It only bleeds cause maybe that area not clean. Oh boo hoo. Gotta see more blood then.

He also did some tooth filling for me. I think he need to cut or do something to the tooth to get out the decay part, so gotta like drill or something. Say will feel some pain but don't think need to give me a jab so just bear with it. Wahh... The sound and pain just sent chills down my spine. My goosebumps popped up too.

Then I was asked to choose my colour for this month. I said black and orange. Thought it was just like normal where the colours were on individual tooth. But I was wrong. My upper teeth was the whole thing dragged across even over the wires. At that point I was thinking, siao liao lor... One stretch orange leh. Wouldn't it be very bright?!?!?

Went out of the room, waiting for my bill. Showed off my colours to godma. Looked into the mirror and wah seh! Really very bright leh. But the combination is damn nice! My upper set looks like a whole lot of pumkins with two blackies guarding it. Bottom is alternate colour.
I like!!!

Dentist said to make my teeth end result more perfect, he will extract another tooth for me. Asked if I want to do it today. I didn't want to. He thought that I was caught off guard so needed time to prepare my heart and mind. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I could have just gone ahead with it actually. But then, I got a lot of food cravings haven't satisfy yet. So if I were to extract, I won't be able to eat it till quite long later. Haha!

Went to Chinatown after that. Oh there is this place which sells damn yummy authentic hainanese curry rice. Pretty cheap too! Walked around Chinatown and godma wanted to buy skincare products. So we went to the shop and she bought her stuff. As usual lah, while I was waiting, my eyes will scan the shop, my hands will itchy itchy touch stuff. Ended up buying some eyelash stuff. Godma said next time when we're out, she'll confiscate my wallet so that I won't buy stuff on impulse. Wahaha!

Home sweet home after that. So tired. Since monday, I only sleep about six hours each night. So after putting my stuff down, I promptly fell asleep. I think less than 5 minutes, I was gone. Gone to lala land.

Woke and and since won't be meeting Lynn to go sign up for Salsa at the CC, I could meet Ade for some shopping and dinner at the mall. With the new tighter wire and new rubber bands on my teeth, the pain when eating food was barely bearable. I wanted to give up eating KFC but since ordered already then no choice lor. Gotta peel small small and eat. Terrible.

My Second Day Of School

This post is for yesterday. I came back too late.

Reached school early. Waited for them to open the door. First thing we had to do was to label the brushes. 22 brushes to name. Label will only be there for one month. After that, gotta peel it off and we gotta know the name and purpose of it by heart!

Then we learnt how to apply foundation. Apply is for myself the lazy way, is easy like A.B.C.
But, to apply it professionally and customized to individual's skin colour, that requires skill. Learnt how to make a flat nose more defined, a broad nose look smaller, big nose look smaller and all that nose stuff. We had to pair up, then try on each other. Everyone's first time was quite disasterous. The foundation was mixed either too fair or too dark. Application that time also don't know how much strength to use seemed more scratchy and draggy. Nose ended up looking like wayang in some ways.

Gotta swap partners everytime, cannot do back on same person. This is the first time in my life, I remove and apply make up so many times. But no choice lor. We need to practice on each other. So by the end of the day, I guess everyone pretty much got the hang of it. Customized foundation was just right. Nose was enhanced. Haha! Pretty cool!

It has just been two lessons, but it makes me wanna go to school! Although I like to laze in bed, but I still get there on time.

After class, accompanied one of the girl to walk the long stretch of Orchard. When talking to her, must speak simple words slowly. She is vietnamese and command of english is quite basic. So sometimes because of her accent, I gotta try harder to understand then gotta end up pointing.

Met Ade & Ken for dinner and movie. Watched "Corpse Bride". The guy who sat behind me kinda inconsiderate lor. Bloody hell! Sit till so low, then probe his legs up against the back of my seat. Then talk to his friends who were beside him, when he turn, he rock, turn back, also rock. Talk so loudly somemore. Damn him... Anyway, cursed him to shut up and stop rocking. It worked! He slept for more than 3/4 of the show. I had peace!

The show was kinda short. But was pretty interesting. Only didn't like to sit so far in front. I think it was too close to the screen. After movie, went to Ade's house to yak yak yak till bout like 1am? Haha! Tired but gotta wake up to go for dental later.

My First Day Of School

Heh heh! Today was my first day of school!!! Was pretty excited bout it. The whole new experience, new environment, and new lot of people I'll be meeting.

Reached there, paid up my fees, got my bag which reminded me of my laptop bag. Went to class and chose a comfy seat. Haha!

Then we had to buy the make up stuff. Woahhh... The brushes alone were enough to make me eat grass for more 1 month! 360 buckaroos!!! Must take good care of them. Also bought eyelash curler which is supposed to be good. The one I'm currently using is those cheapo kind. So I also wanna upgrade. Anyway, total cost of everything came up to $720+. This is not all, slowly, along the way, there will be more items to buy, some will be to learn new things, some to refill. Luckily daddy's paying for me. So, I don't have to eat grass and drink rain.

Didn't really have much chance to talk to the other girls.
Then the teacher said, "Jessica, you're very quiet leh. Are you Indonesian?"
-_- Why? Do I look like those rich Indonesian Chinese?

Not much taught today cause only half day. Almost fainted when I was on the way back home in the bus. I was happily sitting there listening to music and slowly falling alseep when suddenly this whole lot of students boarded and occupied almost the whole upper deck. Noisy and smelly! If I had bus concession, I'll definitely alight and wait for next one. The smell was overpowering lor. Somemore the aircon wasn't that cold.

Came home and unpacked my stuff, then pack back nicely again. Wrote some notes and all that. Read up on the notes too. Haha! When was the last time I was so hardworking on my own free will? Erm... Don't say primary school cause that time was still so young, don't want to do also forced to do. Not in secondary school. Never in poly. Unless there was a test or an exam coming up. But since this is my interest, I willingly read up to find out more. To have passion in what I want to do is so so so important. Its the force which pushes me to thirst for knowledge in this field.

At night was relax time... Tv, tv all the way!

Board Games

Yesterday was a pretty fun day. I played board games! It has been like donkey years since I last played board games. Godma came over to my place. She brought Scrabble to play. So we played till we were both mentally drained. Its really tiring leh. Somemore cannot use brand names or singlish so quite hard to think of words. Haha!

Since we were so exhausted after one game. I decided to change to play monopoly. Don't need to use so much brain juice. Then Bro came to watch us play. After round 1, I went bankrupt. So Bro decided to play. This time, I won the two of them. After dinner, Bro suggested another round. He was the ultimate winner.

Wahh... So long never touch such games, it is really quite fun to start playing it all over again.
