Today isn't really a good day for me.
What the hell lor... For the second time, my hp is still not the one I want!!!
I want it in brown colour and what I got was amber. Damn pissed!!
Rarrrrrrrrr!!!
Not trying to be racist or whatever (nationalist if it may seem, if there is such a word in the first place). But 2 tourist from India whom I served today, gave me the urge to vomit blood.
One came in a group, judging from the way they dressed, they seem to be like the lower class socialites from there. But they acted super duper arrogant! While I was trying on the makeup, they gave the oh-i'm-high-and-mighty-with-money-and-you-shall-be-my-servant look.
As if I owe them a living like that.
My FOOT lor!
Anyway, I wasn't too happy with the way they treated me and looked and my fellow colleagues. So... I decided to like ignore them. Hahaha.. Turned my back on them and pretend to act busy. So when they wanted to try other things, they had to call me.
"Excuse me..."
Wahh really ar? Did I just hear them say trying to be polite? I shall act blur, like I couldn't hear.
"Hi, excuse me..."
Ohh... Really said that. So I wasn't dreaming.
After getting what they wanted, at least they still said a thank you. But was like very fast lah. Hoho... Think their ego got a bit bruised when they thought that they could treat people behind the counters with shitty attitude and get away with it.
The other one came 15mins just before I was supposed to knock off and meet my family for grandma's bday dinner. My patience-o-meter dropped to below zero within like 10mins of serving her. She asked me to recommend her some eyeshadows which I did. Hmm... Ok this is how the conversation went on.
She: Which colours would you recommend for my skin tone?
Me (Took a few colours): This 3 colours would actually look quite nice on you.
She: So which one will you think suits me best?
Me: This shade (points to one).
She: Then which colours would you recommend?
Me: I recommend you this 3 shades, picked out 1 shade, but it all depends on which you prefer.
She: You tell ME! Which looks best on me?
Ehh... Didn't I just answer her her question?Me: I picked out this shade (same one) which will suit you.
She: Then why you say the other colours?
Me: You asked me to recommend you, I recommend you and you choose from there.
She: So what else do you recommend?
Anyway, the whole conversation went on something like this for half hour!!!
By then, my blood was boiling cause my family was waiting for me to knock off and have dinner. Its not like its still early lor... It was already 8plus!
I gave her a super black face when I was serving her since she was absolutely rude and irritating and long winded.
Asked Cin to take over for me. By right, I don't think I'm supposed to do that lah. But I don't give a damn. Whether she buys or not, I don't really bother either.
Had enough of her lor...
Ohh I came to a conclusion. Working in this type of service industry, one has got to have a super high level of tolerance for idiots. Especially this kind who ask the same question over and over again and gets not very far even after half hour.
This cases doesn't mean that I think that all Indian tourists are arrogant hor! I'm not against Indian tourist. Some are really nice. But so far, those I served seems to be quite kns like that.
Just like there are ugly Singaporeans or ugly citizens from every other countries.
Its these bad eggs of the lot who spoils the image of the country and culture.
Shall blog bout the exhumation at the cemetery and grandma's bday dinner in the next entry ba.
Tired already.
